This is the best dentist office you will run across in the Mount Airy area! I have spent years avoiding dental procedures out of fear. However, that all changed when I became a patient at Summit View Dental. For the past 2 years, Dr. Foster has made me comfortable and given me a new confidence for all things dental! From cleanings to fillings to replacing crowns, she and her staff (especially Christina), have been nothing but reassuring, professional and genuinely amazing. I cannot say enough how grateful I am to have found them. And especially for those like me(nervous and anxious about dental procedures): this is the place to be!

Dr. Foster and her staff are always friendly and professional. Her office takes great care to make patients as comfortable as possible. Even after moving away from Mount Airy, I still make the trip because I've been so pleased with my experiences there.

Today I finished treatment at Dr. Foster's dental practice. Overall, the experience was very pleasant. Starting with the ladies at the front desk, Teylor and Trish were very helpful and the work done by the team of specialists Rebecca, Page and Lisa, are all very professional. Apart from the great work, all the time I was informed about the process. Very grateful

This place is the bee's knees for dentists. I'm a person that can't stand the dentist and have high high anxiety when it comes time to visit them. The staff there are so caring and so polite and want to make your visit as comfortable as possible which mine was. I had three cavities filled, absolutely no pain at all and I was in and out in no time. I definitely recommend to go see Dr. Jennifer for anything that you may need.

I have high anxiety when it comes to dental work and I've changed dentists often in the past because I never found one that fit or made me comfortable. I won't be switching ever again because since going to Dr. Foster I've had great experiences time and time again. The staff are so friendly and kind from the front office staff to the hygienists in the back. Waiting is never an issue and I've never waited more than 10 minutes for an appointment. Dr. Foster explains everything and makes you feel very comfortable. She offers options if you are stressed or worried about dental work. I highly recommend the laughing gas. It puts you completely at ease and you can drive away after. When colleagues asked how my latest root canal went, they laughed at my description that it was a pleasant experience but it was!!!! I was so afraid and I left in a great mood with no pain! I highly recommend Dr. Foster!!!

I've been working with Lisa on major dental surgery and she's been absolutely amazing to work with! She's compassionate, understanding, and always responds via text or call anytime I have a question. I'm so thankful to have such a wonderful and knowledgeable dentist walk me through this process. She has made this an incredibly wonderful experience!!

This was my first visit Dr Fosters practice and I couldn't have been more pleased with my experience. First off Trisha at the front welcomed me with her helpful, pleasant and friendly demeanor. She is a great asset to Dr Fosters office. Then there was Katie my hygienist who handled my cleaning and exam with great care and skill, making me feel comfortable throughout my time there. Katie is also a person with a great bedside or chairside manner. I'm very pleased to have found a new dentist office that made me feel so valued as a customer. Thank you to all there and I'll see you soon.

Update part two: filling was done SO poorly that redoing it didn't fix it and I will have to get a root canal. Suppose you can't expect better when someone drills in your mouth while talking and not looking. The response to this review is not taking accountability for what happened. I shared my experience, the response given is attempting to discount that experience. This is what happened, so clearly, all patients are NOT treated with care. This is not how I feel, this is an exact description of what occurred. Edit: The fillings were poorly done and I have to go get one removed and redone at another dentist office. really wanted to like this dentist because everyone here is so kind and cheery. Lovely receptionists and hygienists, and a comfortable environment for women. However, I am still bothered that Dr Foster spent my entire appointment (5 fillings) chatting with her assistant about her future vacations- I really think that when someone has a drill in your mouth, they should focus and have their eyes on your mouth, no matter how experienced they are, out of respect for the patient and general bedside manner. Furthermore, I was to be numbed. I let the kind hygienist know that I have a fear of needles, so she topically numbed me before using the needles to inject local numbing agents in all four corners of my mouth. By the time I was in the seat for the actual fillings, the numbness had come and gone. I told Dr Foster this and she "checked" if I was truly not numb by poking me in the gums with a sharp tool (and indeed, I was not Numb.) I told her again that I had a fear of needles and to please use topical numbing cream before the needles. She waited about two seconds after the topical agent (which had not numbed me yet), failed to ask if I was numb, and started injecting numbing. While doing this, she barely looked at my mouth, but was talking to a coworker about her vacation. She actually jiggled the needle inside my mouth, and tears were streaming down my face. Granted, I could have said something and I wish I did, but I wish that there was some sort of confirmation that the patient is numb as well as a general respect where the doctor's full attention is on the patient. Had her full attention been on me while she had a NEEDLE in my mouth, she would have seen the pain on my face or tears. I came out so numbed from this appointment - more than when I got my wisdom teeth out, and shaking. Both Dr Foster and her assistant appeared unbothered and more interested in their conversation then their patient, and honestly were pretty rough with my mouth while filling cavities, seriously only looking at it from time to time. Experience is one thing, carelessness and distraction is another. I will not be returning here- I came out of this appointment to my car shaking and crying.

this dental office is borderline harassing when it comes to confirming appointments. none of my family is listed on each other's information as emergency contacts yet if I or any of us don't confirm our appointment within the hour it is requested they call and harass our entire family until someone answers. never have I been called so much for appts that aren't mine and don't pertain to me.

Dr. Foster and her staff are personable, and make the dental office a joy and pleasure for every visit. My filling today went as smooth as butter and has no issues! I would highly recommend Dr. Foster to any and all people who are looking for a new dentist in Mt. Airy!

had been a 'patient' since 2013. She took over in 2016. no problem until i decided to get insurance and then my own BCBS instead of what she was selling. The staff was too lazy to figure out the paperwork or call BCBS. i had spend my limited time finding the issue and then to explain it to them. They copied my insurance cards and then lost them. She wanted me to send them a 3rd time 'so there was proof i had'......then i was charged for a treatment that was not performed. i disputed it. the 2 responses over a year ago conflicting and then i have been ignored. Unfortunately incompetent staff is a growing problem. I don't get a discount to train employees of the businesses i deal with and they don't respect my time so down the road to a new dentist who has no problem with insurance paperwork.

An excellent and impressive dentistry with all the customer needs under a roof. Close to home with an easy access. Great professional team. I have a very strong gag reflex and extremely difficult to perform a procedure but Rebeca's and Dr. Foster's skills made it possible to have job done well . Erica provided a great customer service . Bringing my entire family here for our dentistry needs. The best is they have Sat appts available. 5 plus stars service.
