Dr. Jennifer Lamont earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the UCLA School of Dentistry in 2006. She graduated at the top of her class and was the recipient of the UCLA Excellence in Restorative Dentistry award. She spent three years working as an associate in private practice in Southern California before relocating to Albuquerque and opening an office of her own. Dr. Lamont started her practice from the ground up with just a few patients and grew from word of mouth and referrals. In 2013, she moved to her location on Barstow Street and has been a part of the neighborhood ever since.
In addition to taking care of patients in her office, Dr. Lamont has also been treating our Service Members for over 10 years. She spends several weekends a year traveling to military bases and armories throughout New Mexico and the U.S., even as far as Guam. Her job is to identify and treat dental issues to ensure that our Service Members do not experience any problems during deployment where access to care may be unavailable.
Dr. Lamonts favorite thing to do is spend time with her family. Her young son and daughter keep her laughing and very busy! She is also an avid runner. Her favorite local races are the La Luz Trail Run and Run For The Zoo. She is currently training to run the New York City Marathon.
Dr. Jennifer Lamont is committed to the continual advancement of knowledge in the dental field and maintaining the highest standard of care. She holds an active membership in the American Dental Association, New Mexico Dental Association, and the Albuquerque District Dental Society.
Nadine handles every aspect of office management at Dr. Lamont's family practice. She also helps our patients understand and maximize their insurance benefits. She loves working with the best doctor and staff to provide quality care to our patients. Outside of the office she enjoys spending time with her wonderful husband and their family.
Nicole is an Albuquerque native that started her career as a dental assistant and then continued her education in Dental Hygiene. She graduated with an Associates degree from Pima Medical Institute where she was the President of her class. She was raised in a military family, and has married into the military life. She has three children, two boys and a girl. In her spare time you will catch her constantly with a book in her hand or spending time with her family.
Julia is the smiling face that our patients see when they enter the office. Julia was trained as a dental assistant in Oxnard, California. She started her career working for underserved communities in Southern California at a free clinic in Simi Valley. Julia moved to Albuquerque in 2019 and loves it here! She now lives in Nob Hill with her cat.
Elise has been a practicing Dental Hygienist since 2014. She wants people to leave her chair feeling more knowledgeable about their oral health, as well as listened to and cared for. She truly loves her job and the dental team Dr. Lamont has put together. Elise is a proud New Mexican, where she grew up, educated, and has been raising her beautiful family. She met her husband when they both attended the University of New Mexico and they now have two boys. She spends her free time watching her sons play sports, traveling, and staying in touch with friends and family.
Steph is a native of Albuquerque and has been a dental assistant since 1989. She takes great pride in her work. She has been married for 25 years and has a son who is a paramedic. She loves to exercise, and in her free time enjoys walking her dogs around her neighborhood.
