Dr. Jeffrey W. Laubmeier, DMD - General dentist in Lakewood, OH

Dr. Laubmeier, a graduate of Case Western Reserve University School of Dental Medicine, has worked for many years in the Cleveland area. Upon completion of his degree, he practiced in Elyria, OH before moving his practice to Lakewood, OH in 2007.

Dr. Laubmeier has a passion for dentistry that began in his childhood. He and his wife, Jennifer, originally from Pennsylvania, were so happy here they decided to stay and make Cleveland their home!

Dr laubmeier is the man. Along with his crew, they made my visit great. I was so self conscious about my teeth, and how much work I needed. But they made me feel so good. I'm so happy that I'm finally on the road to smile again. After hiding my smile for years. It is such a great feeling knowing that I'll be able to smile and not think about how I look and what other people are thinking. Thank you so much, from the front desk , to the Dr. It's people like you, that give people the confidence to finally enjoy life again. And not worry about hiding a smile. Thank you so much!

I went through almost 3 years of adult braces to pull an impacted tooth into place. After my orthodontist and periodontist finally got that stubborn impacted tooth where it should be, we discovered it had a pretty sizable chip/divot in it. I was concerned it may someday lead to a cavity (and honestly after years of braces and multiple oral surgeries I was also a little bummed how the chip looked compared to my other teeth) so I asked Dr Laubmeier if there was something he could do. He did an amazing job repairing my chip and filling the divot it had created on the backside of my tooth. Honestly, I don't even think if I told you I had a repaired tooth you would be able to guess which one it is. It blends in seamlessly. He has also been great about seeing me on short notice if I have an emergency. Support staff is amazing there too. They actually got me in weeks early for the chip repair because Renee thought of me when they had a cancellation.

Great staff very friendly and professional, had a wisdom tooth and was very delicate and precise. Barely and soreness or pain the following day. Would recommend to anyone needs a great dentist, because like anything these days good people are hard to find . Thanks Again

I went to this dental office for a second opinion after being told I needed a thousand dollars (with insurance!) worth of procedures. I have been going regularly to the dentist throughout my whole life and never had an issue, so I was very surprised and decided to try another office and had a wonderful experience with Dr. Laubmeier's practice. He listened to all of my concerns and explained in detail why I did not need those procedures, still maintaining extreme professionalism towards the other dental practice, he answered all my questions and concerns and of course I asked to switch my care to his office. The staff was extremely kind and helpful, special kudos to Renee, who is an absolute sweetheart and super efficient! My DH, Rachel, was very efficient and skilled. Overall excellent experience. There is the issue of lack of accessibility and overall exterior appearance, but internally everything is perfectly clean and modern.

I chose this dental practice because conveniently located to me, but I really lucked out! Really wonderful, attentive staff who have gone to bat for me with my insurance company, which I REALLY appreciate. Everyone seems really happy to be working here, which makes a huge difference. Dr. Laubmeier really takes the time to educate and explain, even going so far as to draw a picture of my tooth and where the crack was in it, which no dentist has ever done for me before. It makes me feel like I can trust that Dr. Laubmeier isn't in this to make an extra buck; he really cares about MY care and wants to be sure that I'm healthy.

Don't understand what's hard about being nice to people. I've been going there since I was a kid [my mom chose them, they are close to where we have always lived], spent thousands and owed 42.00. I got new insurance thru Medicaid when I switched jobs and honestly didn't know they didn't cover it. I came in with my credit card ready to pay and she said she will charge me 35.00 for the missed appointment because I didn't want to pay 226.00 to get my teeth cleaned. I just said send it in the mail. She also made a snarky comment about how I was supposed to call from the parking lot to come in (covid). There was no one in the office, is that really necessary? I should have paid the 42.00 earlier but I knew I had this appointment scheduled and figured I just pay them today, after going there for 15+ years I thought it would be ok. Sucks too because the dentist is really nice and I used to like the cleaner before the dentist but he left for a new job anyways. New girl was ok.

When the dentist doesn't listen to his patient and the front reception lady has a serious attitude EVERY time you call, there is no reason to go back.

Wonderful office, wonderful staff. I was in and out in less than an hour, even with scheduling my next appointment!

From a young age, I have been skeptical of the dental profession. Between being told I needed unnecessary procedures, aggressive pitches for products and services I didn't want, and a lack of oral hygiene education, I became distrustful and developed anxiety going to the dentist. So I stopped! Thankfully, I've never had a cavity and have enjoyed strong, healthy teeth for all of my 36 years. BUT, despite my best efforts, aging is getting the best of me and I've noticed that calculus/tartar has recently formed anyway. I decided to finally go to the dentist after 17 years of avoiding it. My children have been patients of Dr Laubmeier and his staff and they had always come home happy, even after fillings and emergency visits (their dad was responsible for taking them because I was a chicken). From the outside, the building looks like an old, small, brick, one story building that you would normally overlook. Don't let that deter you! Once inside, the office environment is clean, airy, and inviting , while the patient rooms contain comfortable dental chairs that was easy to relax in. I cannot express enough how friendly everyone is, and how quickly I felt at ease with them. You can tell right away that the staff is happy, from the front desk personnel to the hygienists. The care I received was thorough; the team scheduled me extra time because of how long it's been since my last cleaning, and my dental hygienist Micah explained everything, leading to no surprises for me. Also, Micah handled my initial anxiety perfectly, and after a bit, my heart stopped pounding and I relaxed even with him scraping that gunk off of my teeth lol. After the cleaning, I couldn't believe the improvement! I had a couple of stains that are completely gone, along with the calculus. Nobody tried to sell me cosmetic whitening services, or other unnecessary products like veneers, etc. Dr Laubmeier came in and was just as easy to talk to as everyone else, and I'm happy to report that I still have a cavity free, healthy mouth. However, I will not go without my regular check ups and cleaning ever again! Dr Laubmeier and his staff have been wonderful dental practicioners for my children, always providing reasonable sound advice, and education. Now I'm happy to say I have found a dental practice where even I feel comfortable and will continue to visit. I highly recommend this practice!

Great with patients of all ages, just be aware that the office is not handicap accessible - hallways are too narrow for any mobility assistance other than a cane (walkers/rollaters won't get through, step up to get into the building) and the only handicap parking space is for the animal hospital next door.

They did do a quick repair on a broken tooth. And 4 months in it is still OK. The office is dated but seems clean. However, the gave me aninaccurate quote on what my insurance would cover and was backbilled. I was told "I needed to know my own insurance" and am being charged 10% intrest on the unpaid bill.
