My daughter had an appointment for an evaluation we paid cash out of pocket. Dr spent less than 2 mins with my Daughter. I got a quote of 4 thousand dollars cash. However,I signed up for private humana insurance ... not medicaid actual private insurance. It has been two months and I've had to reschedule twice now surgey because office staff doesn't have time to tell me the cost with insurance. I am a single parent I need to budget and plan and need to know the costs before I show up the day of and payment is expected. I shouldn't have to beg office staff to provide that since that is also a service I paid for as a part of the evaluation. Ive called every 2 weeks or so to see if it was done and excuse I get is well im busy pulling other people insurance. It is very obvious she needs customer service retraining (Kaitlyn) and maybe more office staff assistance as im trying not to judge a young girl who has no concept of financial obligations and budgets.Getting insurance as payment from your patients seems to be an important part of a buisness so why would you not try to complete that within a reasonable two week period at most. I'm a nurse and it doesn't take that long to verify benefits online with insurance.i did not appreciate the additude and lack of motivation to verify benefits over several weeks so im going elsewhere. In my experience if the staff acts like that before, then aftercare and surgery experience will probably be just as problematic. So im going to find another oral surgeons office who can be clear cut about payment and benefits in a timely manner and will sit in the office and speak with my Daughter and evaluate her properly for 15 minutes when I'm paying you hundreds out of pocket to do so. Overall I'm a dissatisfied paying patient who spent money to be barely evaluated only to have to find another dr. Update When you pay a doctor to consult and evaluate your paying for there "valuable time" and thus are expected to get an accurate history and evaluate the patient for 15 minutes which is the time billed.Secondly, I am a nurse and since it is my own daughter who is a minor I can comment about her case without hippa applying to me because the patient or Guardian has that right. However you do not. An thus obviously don't know the law since you have spread it here. Also we don't have medicaid so not sure you understand that. There is nothing in accurate I posted. I asked immediately next day after the visit to verify her new benefits a new policy I bought privately and the drs staff never had time. Sorry but It doesn't take months. I did not yell or berate your staff.. I did However repeatedly call and ask for the status of the benefits over two months time. I did go to another oral surgeon. Who actually took the time to look in my daughter's mouth and get an accurate assessment of the child her medical history psychological disposition etc. Since she does have a medical history and your about to do surgery and administer anesthesia it is kinda important to actually evaluate the child. . The new surgeon Without ever telling them my previous experience did a thorough evaluation. That is what a good physician does. It is my opinion I wouldn't let Dr. Dongieux or his staff touch me my family or friends because I feel his office is unfavorable to my expectations in Healthcare. If I'm paying you cash you better believe I expect attention for more than two minutes. I feel your organization is about numbers and money. You sir have several of the same reviews. I just wish I would have read them before I brought my child.

I read the reviews and was taken back by some of the comments such as unfriendly staff. My observations were that Dr. Jeffrey is to the point, answered all my questions, and did what he stated. I had no negatives. As far as the staff, how much more friendly can you be? Will be seeing these folks again. 5 star...

This guy should not be an oral surgeon. Gave my spouse severe nerve damage just over a year ago and costing me alot of $$$ just to deal with pain that can pretty much never get fixed. Also a very rude and unprofessional person overall. Only reason I gave it a star was to get a rating up and hopefully future clients can go somewhere else because I do not wish this on anyone. Update, after X-Rays and further follow-up care. They have found a few pieces of metal which looks like the ends of dental instruments lodged in the jaw area where the wisdom teeth were removed and has been having a really bad infection(which can be deadly if not treated) from it for over 2 years now that requires corrective surgery to remove which costs $$$ which is scheduled finally. I'm going to look back and see if there is another release form saying foreign objects may be left in your jaw bone causing nerve damage and constant pain until removed.

I visited this office on 7/2019.My daughter has anxiety and was given something at home prior to her surgery...When we arrived, in less than 10 min, one of his staff walks in the waiting room and explains to me"she's still nervous and he has rescheduled her appt".. I immediately walk to the room to talk to my daughter to calm her and convince her everything will be fine... She then begins to explain to me that she agree she is nervous, but the doctor is EXTREMELY RUDE which made her feel even more uncomfortable in addition to increasing her anxiety. I calmly spoke with him about his impatience and rudeness. Simply asking him to understand her a little and be A little more patient considering her nervousness.. Even when he spoke to me you could hear the aggravation in his tone As well as his visible uncaring, non compassion look on his face... I prayed for her and she went back in .. A Short time later, i expressed his rudeness to one of his staff. She informed me he probably was rude because the appointment before her cancelled.. So immediately... I knew that he was in this profession for the money and not for well being of his patients...He could care less and it showed!! My daughter was experiencing so much pain in her wisdom tooth and I wanted her to have relief.. But as a mother I get angry when I think about it because I should not have let him touch her... This man has evil ways!!

I went to this office for the first time on 6/25/19. The workers were very knowledgeable and courteous. They made me and son feel very comfortable. I have a few more visits at this office and I hope they are all as good as this one was. I will keep you updated for each visit, only because of some of the other reviews I read.

Highly recommend for oral surgery!! Dr. Dongieux and staff were very polite and professional. They went above and beyond to ensure I was well taken care of throughout my visit. My procedure went great with minimal down time. Best in the area for sure!
