Dr. Kashner studied Chemical Engineering in the honors program at the University of Delaware and Delaware State University. After he achieved his degree, he then continued his education at the Baltimore College of Dental Surgery and the Dental School at the University of Maryland where he graduated at the top of his class, Suma Cum Laude. After dental school Dr. Kashner realized that his passion for patients lay in the field of orthodontics and he began to peruse that avenue of dentistry. With orthodontics being a highly specialized field of dentistry, and the University of Washington Orthodontic program having one of the ranked programs in the nation, Dr. Kashner was honored to be chosen to attend the graduate program at this prestigious university. He also received a master's degree in the Science of Dentistry from the University of Washington. After many years of rigorous training and experience from coast to coast, he is able to provide the best possible orthodontic care for the Kent, Covington, and Maple Valley areas!
With Dr. Kashner's commitment to provide the best possible care for his patients, he is continuously taking continuing education courses. Dr. Kashner is an active and upstanding member of the American Dental Association, the American Association of Orthodontists, the Pacific Coast Society of Orthodontists and the Washington State Society of Orthodontists. Currently, he holds the position of Public Relations Chair for the WSSO. Over the years he has earned many honors such as The Children Merit Award from American Society of Dentistry and the University Gold Medal for Scholarship and Certificate of Merit. He is also a part of the Children with Special Healthcare Needs SW Washington Maxillofacial Team and two Orthodontic Study Clubs.
Dr. Kashner comes from a large family and he enjoys outdoor activities such as snowboarding, skiing, hiking and wildlife photography. Check out some of his photography on our Facebook page. I have been involved in the orthodontic field since 1981 and working with Dr. Kashner since 2009. I have been working in the orthodontic field since 1994 and with Dr. Kashner since 1998. I took a brief break from the Orthodontic field to acquire my Bachelors of Arts degree in Psychology. Hi, my name is Susan and I am the Professional Relations Coordinator for Dr. Kashner. I graduated from dental hygiene school in 1988 and worked as a dental hygienist until 2008. Soon after, I became a stay at home mom. When our daughter Alexandra began Kindergarten, I joined the office staff part time. I love being part of the Kashner Team! Working with community dentists and staff as well as our patients has been a great new experience for me, especially since I am not only a staff member, I am married to Jeff. In my spare time I enjoy volunteering at Alexandra's school, gardening, and working out at the gym or spending quality time with my family at home.

My kids and my husband have gone to Dr. Kashner for years and he does excellent work! He is a perfectionist and their teeth look amazing! His staff are always very friendly and accommodating!

Horrendous. Sick and tired of showing up for appointments, being forced to sit around and wait for over an hour, for my treatment to then only take a couple of minutes.

I would highly recommend Dr. Jeffrey Kashner. He and his staff were very kind, helpful and knowledgeable. They took time to answer questions and make sure that we understood what needed to happen. Their attention to detail with their kids program and earning rewards is top-notch! My daughter is very excited to continue to earn points as we continue our treatment there!

FANTASTIC ! Dr Kashner is great at his profession. My son had to have extensive dental work done to include braces. My son who is 13 feels very self conscious about his teeth and braces. Dr. Kashner came up with a plan and explained everything to us in a nice calming fashion. Our family felt a great sense of relief after discussing my son's plan of care. I would highly recommend Dr. Kashner and his staff Thank you Dr. Kashner !!

I no longer go here but felt the need to review, I took my child here they dont deal well with physical contact and the repeatedly told Dr. Kashner to stop touching there arms ad shoulder during apointments and i even talked to him privately and this continued to make my child uncomfortable.

Dr. Kashner and his staff are great to work with. Dr. K makes sure you have a complete understanding of the treatment plan at each step. They are patient and always willing to answer any questions or explain what they are doing. We tried a virtual appointment recently and it was really easy and seems high quality. We would definitely do that again.

Dr. Kashner has been my family orthodontic for over 15 years now. He is committed to the art and science of orthodontic work. His office is beautiful and welcoming and he keeps me laughing when I'm in the chair which really helps ease the anxiety of having your teeth worked on. I cannot imagine ever having any other orthodontist work on my smile.

Very family friendly. Kind respectable hard worker here. Jeffery goes out of his way to help get teeth where they need to be . We have had 5 family members worked on here (Adults included). Can't say enough, How Very Thankful we all are for Dr. Kashner and his staff

Dr. Kashner and his team strive to provide the highest level of care for each patient. The staff are kind and welcoming, and Dr. K navigates his role with skill and expertise, making an effort to get to know his patients in the process. It's evident how much he and his staff care about meeting the needs of each individual, involving families in the process of creating tailored plans to deliver the best results for each patient. When I first began my orthodontic journey, I was nervous about where it would lead. But knowing that I had such a supportive team at Dr. K's office behind me every step of the way encouraged me to trust in the process, and I'm very glad I did when I look in the mirror and see the amazing results. Staff are friendly and competent and the office has nice amenities. Initial experience was fine -- consultation, braces on/off. They seem to be overbooked/running behind a lot (-1 star). At my son's last appointment, after the tech was finished with him, he sat in the chair waiting for the doc to see him... waiting, waiting, waiting. We were assured at one point, "You're next. Should be about 5 minutes." Fifteen minutes later, after Dr. Kashner had moved on to two other patients and after waiting a total of about 45 minutes (-1 star), we just left. They never followed up with us (-1 star). And payment is required when you begin treatment. Read into that what you will.

The staff have been entirely warm and welcoming to our family! They have been very patient and personable with my son being nervous about getting braces and a appliance put in and have been great to work with! I would definitely refer them to a friend or family member! Very relieved to have such easy care and a great transition.

Kashner's office has a culture of integrity and professionalism beyond comparison to 99% of businesses out there. He is a master in his field. That clearly shines through in the passion he has for his work. Our family is grateful to have experienced his passion and be recipients of his work-Thank You. The level of service is exceptional and a great experience. I would highly recommend their office. We have had to wait periodically (very seldom). I think in this case waiting is a good thing. Like a good restaurant, any wait that one may incur is definitely worth it! I waste more time in traffic on any given day and I don't give traffic a bad review! Kashner has exceeded the expectations we had of a Orthodontist.

Went to 3 different Doctors before choosing Doctor Kashner, I am so glad we did. He is not the cheapest, but that is for a reason. The additional price from other places was only a few hundred more, not thousands. Here is the number one reason I chose him- when we initially met with him he said that he was concerned with how the braces would affect the face in old age. Very long term thinking. No rush job here. Very very pleased. Highly recommend with zero reservations.
