Being an orthodontist means improving livesone person at a time. As I straighten a patients teeth, it improves their bite and oral health, and decreasesthe likelihood of dental disease and jaw issues in the future. Of course, most people think of smiles when they think of orthodontic treatment, and that is a big part of what I do: An amazing smile grows a persons self-esteem and improves their confidence, and Im part of making those smiles happen!

Every day, I see people transform. As patients see the change in their appearance, they feel better about themselves and start showing greater confidence. The day a person finishes, and sees all theyve accomplished, they cant stop smiling and were smiling with them! I spend my days helping people make a lasting, positive change in their lives; I cant imagine anything more fulfilling!

Each staff member at Falls Orthodontics is incredible. They bring their unique skills, abilities, and passions to all aspects of the patients experience. Not only do our team members want patients to finish with a lifetime of incredible smiles, they want each patient to have loved every step of the process!

Our team makes sure patients are comfortable andinformed, and know they are important to each of us. We always care for patients as we would a family member: with compassion, respect, and the highest professionalism.

Orthodontics is constantly changing. As new technologies are developed, along with advances in materials and techniques, its essential that I stay current on these changes. Each year I attend conferences, lectures, and seminars, to takea variety of continuing orthodontic education courses. This ensures each patient receives the best care to achieve their new smile!

I love being an orthodontist! I spend my days helping people develop a brighter and better smile, which has a profound impact on their confidence and self-esteem. Ienjoy meeting new people, and finding out about their lives and how they spend their days. Every patient is a potential new friend:someone to learn from as we work together to achieve their best smile!

In addition to getting to work withgreat patients every day, I love science, technology, and teeth. Orthodontics is the perfect blend of everything; itallowsme to spend time helping people make a lasting improvement in their quality of life.

Its amazing to watch a person transform during treatment. People often start orthodontics feeling self-conscious about their crooked teeth and uncomfortable around their peers. As they see the change in their smile, each person becomes happier with their appearance. By the time we remove their braces, patients have a smile they love ...and one they love to share!

We have a remarkable team at Falls Orthodontics. Each is highly skilled andexperienced, and really cares about our patients and whats happening in their lives. Its amazing to see how they are willing to go out of their way to ensure every patient feels welcomed. When patients choose us for their orthodontic care, we care for them like family!

Continuing education keeps me uptodate with the latest procedures and treatments, so I can provide the best care for patient. I enjoy learning, gaining more insight and perspective, and strengthening my skills.

Im a past president of our local dental society andhelped to oversee our monthly continuing education meetings. I also attend the annual American Association of Orthodontists meeting, where I learn from the leaders in our field.

I love being outdoors: gardening, fishing, hunting, hiking, skiing, and biking are some of my hobbies. I like restoring motorcycles and working on cars, too. I'm very involved serving in various positionsat my church.

The most enjoyable part of each and every day is hearing stories from my patients lives. We care for wonderful people and I like being able to reconnect with them at each visit, to heartheir stories and sharea few of my own. I believe getting to know my patients on a personal level is an essential part of the treatment process: It allows me tounderstand their orthodontic needs better, and how we can arrange an approach that meets all their requirements.

Growing up, I was always the science guy, and knew I wanted to do something in healthcare. When I was in college, I was fortunate to have a great role model and mentor who showed me how orthodontics can have a lasting, positive impact in peoples lives. That mentorship guided my educational decisions, and I have no doubt orthodontics was the right call.

I find a great deal of professional and personal satisfaction in being an orthodontist. Im able to change a persons life byimproving their oral health and increasing the confidence with which they greet the world. Truly, what could be better?

We have an incredible team at Falls Orthodontics. Each person is knowledgeable, caring, and passionate about caring for others. They are always finding new ways to motivate and help our patients be successful, both in their orthodontic treatment and in their lives. We all work together, seamlessly, to provide the best patient care and make sure each patient knows they are important to us!

Continuing education keeps me current on orthodontic techniques, along with new materials and technology. I am able to bring that knowledge back to the practice and apply it to patient care. Each year I complete many advanced courses in orthodontics, including attendance atthe annual session of the American Association of Orthodontists.

Twin Falls is my home town. I moved back after finishing my orthodontic residency, with my wife Janice, and we raised our two wonderful children here. Janice and I have been empty nesters for several years, but fortunately our children live in Idaho and we see one or both of them almost every week.

My family is important to me and my favorite times are spent with them. I especially enjoy family bicycling trips; in fact, my daughter and I conquered the Allegheny Passage. Webikedaround 350 miles of trails in less than a week!

I love swimming and am at the pool with my masters group most mornings. I also enjoy studying history and traveling to some of the places Ive learned about. Although I dont watch much TV, I really like watching the Tour de France and Kansas City Chiefs football games. Of course, Im passionate about my alma mater, the College of Idaho, and often attend sporting and alumni events to support the Yotes!

We recognize that all of our patients are unique and deserve to receive orthodontic care that reflects their individual needs. Our experienced and talented team is committed to working with you and your family to create a comfortable, stress-free, and rewarding orthodontic experience every time you visit our practice.
