Recently our office was Accredited by the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine for the fabrication of oral appliances to treat snoring and obstructive sleep apnea. It is one of a very select few in the nation and there are no others in lower Fairfield or Westchester Counties.
In 1990, Dr. Cahn received a Fellowship from the Academy of General Dentistry which represents over 500 hours of Continuing Education courses. He continues to attend lectures and seminars to ensure that his practice remains up-to-date including state-of-the-art technologies.
Both in 1993 and in 2007, Dr Cahn was commended by the American Dental Association for his volunteer work for underprivileged children in Israel. He provided these services in August, 1993 in February, 2004, January, 2007 and January 2008.
Truly a dentist for people of all ages, Dr. Cahn is currently the consulting dentist for the Cassena Care Skilled Nursing facility in Stamford, Connecticut and for the Gan Yeladim Preschool in Stamford.
Dr. Cahn is an active member of the American Dental Association, the Connecticut State Dental Association, the Stamford Dental Society, Academy of General Dentistry, American Board of Sleep Medicine and the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine.
Sharon Wohlberg received her business background at Queens College in New York City. She is our in-house expert in customer service and welcomes questions about billing and insurance. Sharon is an active member of the Stamford community and has been living in Stamford for over 20 years. Her goal in the office is to ensure overall patient comfort and satisfaction. Outside of the office, Sharon enjoys spending time with her husband and four children.

A wonderful doctor and experience. Dr Cahn is so gracious and competent. He is wonderful at follow up and communication. He fixed my Apnea with a mouthpiece that is easy to wear and comfortable. Highly recommend!

Can't say enough about the amazing difference Dr Cahn's treatment made. My snoring stopped on the first night and has not come back. The device is easy to wear and totally comfortable. Dr Cahn is wonderful to with work with.

Everything ran perfectly. Dr. Cahn was very thorough. I have suffered with sleep apnea for years. I HATED using a C-PAP but wasn't ready to try surgery. When my doctor recommended Dr. Cahn, the solution seemed too simple to be true. It was worth a try. And it has been wonderful! The mouth piece Dr. Cahn made for me has allowed me to sleep and breathe. My husband is especially happy because I've stopped snoring. Dr. Cahn called me personally to find out how things were going. This is unheard of. He cares! I am so glad I did this. I highly recommend Dr. Cahn and can't say enough good things about this experience.

I had a home sleep study ordered by a pulmonologist and learned that my difficulty sleeping was caused by apnea. Dr. Jeffrey Cahn (yes, we have the same initials, but my J is for Judy), clearly explained the process thoroughly for making the oral appliance, how to use it, and ensured it is comfortable. It has proven to be an effective treatment and I am experiencing a much better quality of sleep. Great experience!

Dr. Cahn is a talented and caring dentist who makes every visit as pain free as possible (and that is coming from someone who deeply hates going to the dentist). I have been going to him for years and have had no problems with any of the work he has done. He has made himself available to answer my questions and always extremely accommodating when I have an emergency. I have referred to him to friends, family and coworkers since I discovered him and would recommend him with no reservations to anyone who is reading this review.

Use this dentist at your own risk. I went to him a few times using Connecticure as my insurance coverage without any issues. When Connecticare changed their dental affiliation to another dental company Dr. Cahn office did not receive payment for a cleaning. Understandable they would want to get paid for services rendered. When they reached out to me for payment I contacted the new dental company to resolve the issue. Unfortunately when the issue was not resolved I was contacted by Dr. Cahn office to make payment. At this point to make sure Dr. Cahn was paid I conferenced Dr. Cahn's office directly into the dental insurance company. I was assured by Dr. Cahn's office and the insurance company the call had satisfied both parties in terms of getting Dr. Cahn's office invoice paid. Unfortunately, once again the insurance company did not issue payment. To be fair non payment was clearly the fault of the insurance company. The grievance I have after conferencing Dr Cahn's office into the insurance company not once but three times, Dr. Cahn's office wanted to forward this issue to collections which undoubtedly would have an adverse affect on my credit. If had not been responsive then I would understand but that was not the case. Especially considering my heavy travel schedule. There was not once I did not return their phone call. To put me into collection for approximately $160 I find it highly unprofessional and unacceptable. Dr. Cahn's office had multiple conversations directly with the insurance company. As I said, if I was not working with Dr. Cahn's office to resolve the issue then find but I did everything I could to make sure they did received payment. Of course after much time and effort on my part Dr. Cahn's office did receive payment.
