I love being an orthodontist. Like winning the Lottery, orthodontics has opened the world to me and my family. There is extreme satisfaction in seeing new smiles, better self confidence and lives change. I often get asked: What would I do if this was my child or my mouth? With this in mind, I treat each individual case as if I were treating my own son, daughter, or wife. Here at Park City Orthodontics, my team and I have the same goal in mind: to provide excellent care to each and every one of our patients and make them feel like family. I have been part of the Park City and surrounding communities practicing orthodontics since 1993.

I am a native of Utah, and was raised in Bountiful, just 45 minutes North of Park City. I received undergraduate education at Brigham Young University, where I also competed on the Ski Team. I continued on to spend fours years at dental school at Oregon Health Sciences University where I earned my Doctor of Medical Dentistry (DMD) degree. After dental school I completed an additional year of training at the University of Utah in their hospital residency program. I then received my Master of Science and Specialist Certificate in Orthodontics (a two year program) at St. Louis University.

I attend many more continuing education classes than required by the state. We are always learning to successfully use the latest technology, including Damon Braces,Insignia custom braces, Invisalign, mini-screws and lasers. I am also a member of Wasatch Orthodontic Study Club and the Utah Damon Study Club. These classes help our patients receive the best treatment with results in the shortest amount of time.

Outside the Office I live here in Park City, with my wife Kristen (we just celebrated our 29th wedding anniversary). We have four children. Alexis graduated from NYU (yea!) and lives in NYC, Chloe is a dancer and will finish her last yeat at BYU, Ben graduated from Park City High and is serving an LDS Spanish Speaking Mission in New Jersey, will attend BYU in the fall and plays soccer. Sam is a Junior at Park City HS and plays tennis.

Even though my ski racing career ended, I still love to ski, but my true passion has been cycling. I enjoy both road and mountain biking. I started bike racing in 1984 to keep me in shape for ski racing during the Summer months, and fell in love with the sport. My passing phase in cycling has lasted more than 30 years. I still actively compete, and my bike has taken me all over the world. I also skate ski, attend my childrens activities, and travel with my family.

I grew up in Eden and currently live in Park City with my husband. We enjoy skiing, boating, going to concerts together and spending time with family. We really enjoy living in Park City and all of the outdoor activities that are available in the community.

Ive been part of Park City Orthodontics team since the fall of 2006. We have such an awesome staff here, and have such fun together. Dr. Sumsion makes sure to go the extra mile with every single patient that he sees. Its been such a great experience working here and having the opportunity to create some amazing smiles. Im happily married with three gorgeous children, who are just beaming with life. I love spending time with family and friends, going on long adventurous road trips, playing volleyball and taking all kinds of hunting excursions. I believe anything is possible, and laughter is the best kind of medicine.

Hi! Ive been part of the team since spring 2015. I enjoy the people I work with! My favorite part of my job is seeing how excited our patients are to see their new smile when their braces come off. I am happily married and have four amazing children. I have been a resident of Summit County my whole life. I enjoy spending time with family, running & cooking.

Hi, Im Adria. My husband and I have one sweet little girl that keepsus busy. I get to work part time for Dr. Sumsion so I can spend most of my time with her and help my husband. I have worked for Dr. Sumsion for about eightyears now. We have a great team to work with and I really enjoy going to work. Its fun to see the change in patients teeth from the time they get braces on until they get them off. The difference in their smiles is a great experience to see on our patients.

Ive been a part of the Park City Orthodontics team since the fall of 1998. I took a long break between 2006-2014 to have 3 amazing kids. Ive been back since August, so Im a new face to some! Hi there, my name is Cassidy. I am the newest member of the Smile Team! I started working at Park City Orthodontics the Spring of 2017! I absolutely LOVE my job and working for Dr. Sumsion!
