I joined our practice in May of 2008 as front desk and then office manager of our Gainesville Location. My role has since evolved and I am now the Professional Relationship Director (PRD) for the practice. My focus is on the needs of each referring doctor and my goal is to optimize their relationship with NOVA Perio Specialists. I organize continuing education meetings through lectures, lunch & learns, doctors study clubs and hygiene study clubs. I believe that the best relationships are built on accessibility, clear communication and trust!

I have been with the practice twice, first in 2009-2010 and again since August 2014. I have been in the dental field since 1998 with a small hiatus of 2.5 years to practice as a massage therapist. I enjoy helping patients to reach their optimum dental health and continue smiling. I am a Virginia native, growing up in Culpeper County and I attended University of Virginia at Wise where I obtained my associates degree in Biology. Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my two daughters and our 2 dogs, reading and hiking.

I have been a part of the practice since June 2017 and in the dental field since 2008. I enjoy meeting new people and learning something new every day. I am originally from Poland and have been in the Northern Virginia area since 2003. I enjoy spending my free time with my husband and son, knitting, reading and playing basketball.

I have been part of the practice since August 2007. After growing up in New Jersey, I received my BA in economics from Syracuse University and then went on to earn my BS in dental hygiene from Thomas Jefferson Unversity in Philadelphia. In addition to providing excellent patient care, I enjoy spending time with my daughters and husband, cooking, travel, live music, reading and volunteering my time with many organizations.

I have been with the practice since July 2015. This is my first experience in the dental field and have found that I really enjoy the interaction with the patients, making their visit as comfortable as possible, and seeing the passion that Dr. Kharmouche has for his work. Outside of the office I enjoy spending time with my daughter, friends and family.

I have been a part of the office since August 2008. As a second-generation Russian who grew up in New Jersey, I am fluent in both Russian and English. I enjoy coming to work and helping our patients receive the care they need and making their office visit a comfortable one for them. Like the rest of our team, I take pride in knowing the quality of care that we provide. Outside of the office, I like horseback riding and spending time with my husband of 25 years and our three beautiful children.

I have been working with Dr. Kharmouche since September 2002 as a surgical assistant. Originally from Israel, I studied dental hygiene prior to becoming a dental assistant and I find that my many years in the dental field helps me better assist our patients. Outside of the office, I enjoy playing tennis and spending time with my husband and children.

I have been a part of the Nova Perio team since May of 2020, shortly after receiving my Associates of Science degree at Northern Virginia Community College. I enjoy interacting and building long term relationships with our patients. Since working with Dr Kharmouche, I have become inspired through his passion, dedication, and empathetic demeanor towards our patients and community. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family, relaxing at the lake, while also pursuing higher education.

I have been a part of NOVA Perio Specialists since May 2020. I enjoy interacting with patients and working with the doctors and team. I am originally from Iran but was raised in Germany. Outside of the office I enjoy cooking and spending time with my family.

I have been in the dental field since 1997 and I joined the NOVA Perio team in December 2017. I most enjoy working with our patients to make their time with us as smooth as possible. Outside of work I enjoy spending time with family and volunteering with local organizations.

I joined NOVA Perio in July 2020. I am new to the dental field and love every bit of it! I like providing our patients with the highest possible care and support. I find it very rewarding to be challenged in the work I do here. In my spare time, I enjoy fishing, hiking, playing games of all sorts, doing home improvements and spending time with my family and wonderful boyfriend. I have two pets: my sweet pup Cooper, and Lucy, my beautiful kitty.

I have been with the practice since May 2017 and in dentistry since 2007. I enjoy interacting with patients, working with great doctors and coworkers, and learning something new every day. In my free time I enjoy spending time with my husband and our dog, hiking, and visiting local wineries and breweries.

My career in the dental field began in 2008. I worked as a CDA in general dentistry and with a periodontist part time until I graduated dental hygiene school in 2015. I have continued my passion for working with the periodontally involved as a dental hygienist. I really do love your gums as much, if not more, than my own! If Im not scaling teeth I am spending time with my husband, Allan, and son, Xane. I am an avid fitness junkie and have a love for fast cars, specifically the one my husband built for me. Allan and I in addition to our son also have three rescued doggies: Koko, Wednesday, and Nova.

Hello and thank you for visiting our website. I would like to take this opportunity to familiarize you with my personal history and experience in periodontics while also introducing my practice and its philosophies.

My name is Jean-Claude Kharmouche and I have been practicing advanced periodontics since 1997. My devotion to dentistry has been strong throughout my life. My father, Dr. Emmanuel Kharmouche, former assistant dean at the Dental School at Aleppo University was and still is my mentor and my inspiration, working in his dental lab since my ninth grade, continuously observing, learning and assisting him instilled in me a great respect and passion for the dental profession.

After obtaining my DMD Degree from Boston University in 1993, I joined the Periodontal Department at the Medical College of Virginia in Richmond in 1994 and graduated in 1997. During this time, I was able to pursue my interest, and continue my education in Advanced Periodontal Care and the Art of Implant Dentistry. I was fortunate enough to be trained with some of the best periodontists, professors and colleagues. I have always valued the knowledge that I have acquired from these institutions and continually update my education through national and local seminars. I am also a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology, member of the American Academy of Periodontology, Virginia Society of Periodontics, Implant Society of Northern Virginia, American Academy of Osseointegration, American Dental Association and Northern Virginia Dental Society.

After proudly treating my patients locally in Northern Virginia since 1998, I started my own practice dedicated to implant and periodontal care in Sterling in 2002 and then in Gainesville in 2008. The offices advanced equipment and technology, as well as my staffs experience allow us to perform a range of treatment. The treatment procedures can range from a very important initial visit to an advanced comprehensive case that involves your dentist and me working together.

As an Associate Professor at VCU-MCV, Department of Periodontics, I have the opportunity to share my experience and keep myself updated with the latest periodontal knowledge, material and technique. I believe in education, and by helping you understand the diagnosis and treatment, I will strengthen your confidence in my practice and the entire dental community. I would like to personally assure you that by visiting my office you would guarantee the finest periodontal and implant care. You will experience and innovative atmosphere and a unique personal touch. You will also encounter my supportive staff that is knowledgeable, professional and caring.
