Dismissive, arrogant, unhelpful clown. Go elsewhere. I was just in for a consultation for jaw surgery. Jay Swanson was arrogant and dismissive. When my partner and I were asking questions, Swanson claimed we were "arguing" with him and told us to get out of his office.

Everyone was very nice and helpful. The Dr was great had no problems. I have always had a problem getting numb and the doctor made sure that I couldn't feel any pain. Jessie was awesome. I would go back again. My 97 year old grandmother also goes here, no problems.

Alright so i kept it in for just over a year now. But i have to say it after finally reading other reviews from people that had problems similar to mine. Doctor Swanson should be shut down. Him and his nurse told me to tap my hand if i felt any pain. Towards the last two teeth i needed taken out i felt a lot of pain and was tapping. While doing so, his nurse looked down and held my hand down instead of putting more shots in to numb me. I had to go through the last two teeth feeling it all. I hate that i didn't take it to court but I want you all to know. Please if you want a good doctor. Go somewhere else for your own well being.

The front desk staff of this place simply need to reevaluate their positions at this facility. They do not know how to communicate nor do they take the time out to try and understand their patients needs. I had to undergo my wisdom teeth extraction here. I came the day of my scheduled surgery and without any consultation they asked to decide on the spot whether I wanted to go under laughing gas or IV. How can someone decide that within 5 mins of just getting to know all the options? Regardless of which, the front desk girl wanted me to decide on the spot. I was forced to reschedule because she said I was taking too long to decide. I had delay my surgery for 2 weeks because of this. I was unfortunate that this was the closest oral surgeon that took my insurance and I didn't want to travel far away so I had to come here. Dr. Swanson was very experienced and definitely knew what he was doing, but the staff at this office were awful at their job. Even after my surgery the claim they submitted with my insurance was incorrect, I had to talk them through what were the procedures I went through for them to correctly send my insurance the details. I was doing their job for them. You can't even expect these people to correctly fill out insurance claims. Looking back at my experience, I wish I had put in the effort to find another place for my surgery.

I am 70 years old and have been visiting dentists all my adult life. Dr. Swanson gives the most painful shots for numbing that I have ever had. If you are going to him, prepare yourself for some EXTREME PAIN. He gets one star because zero stars are not an option.

My wife, Cynthia, needed a procedure done on her face. All of Dr. Swanson's staff (his assistant, June, in particular) was very kind to us, and went out of their way to accommodate us with our particular situation. When we had some post surgery questions, they responded immediately. The surgery went well and the results look great. Thanks.

Dr Swanson was very short with me and did not explain the procedure. One of my molars had cracked and was very painful. He gave me shots to numb my gum but did not explain that the tooth wouldn't be pulled but broken and then removed by pieces. Dr Swanson then left and soon another dentist came in...didn't introduce himself, said open up. Work with me here. My gums were not numb. I told him that it was very painful . He didn't listen or care. Broke my tooth in bits, extracted it, then drilled into my jaw. I was feeling intense pain. He then stitched the gum and walked out. The worst experience I've had in anh medical facility.

I LOVE Dr. Swanson and his staff! Especially June! I have been two different times, years apart. Both times I was very pleased. The office is professional and Dr. Swanson was extremely busy but he never hesitated to answer any questions I had. This last visit I was in a lot of pain and my appointment wasn't until the 23rd. I would have waited on him. Luckily June, his Wonderful assistant, called and got me in the next day. I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Swanson. Thank you again guys....You're the BEST!

Dr Swanson and JESSE are the best team you could ask for! I had a very complex surgery and they did absolutely amazing and didn't back down because it was hard like 2 other surgeons have done for my situation! I will never go anywhere else if I need something done again!! Don't waste your time going anywhere else!

The gas I was given made me cry and I didn't realize it. Dr. Swanson asked if I was in pain and when I said no he told me "Quit your crying then." Also talked about incredibly personal topics the entire extraction.

Our son had to undergo an 8 hour surgery to fix an under bite and a cross bite. His jaw was wired shut for 6 weeks. Dr. Swanson, as a surgeon, is about the best there is. BUT he need's hour's and hour's of BEDSIDE MANNERS 101. 10 on knowing his stuff 15 on his BEDSIDE MANNERS!
