Holistic Smiles LA is a metal-free and fluoride-free practice. Dr. Monempour has spent years learning about biocompatible materials and how they interact with our bodies. After so many individuals have taken biocompatibility tests, Dr. Monempour has learned which materials arent compatible with our bodies, including those containing BPA, fluoride, and other toxins. Whether you are getting a composite filling, an inlay/onlay, a crown, a veneer, or an implant, you can trust that all materials used in the procedure are BPA-free, fluoride-free, metal-free, and most importantly, biocompatible.
People can access various dental services, including orthodontics with Invisalign, ozone therapy, platelet-rich fibrin (PRF), metal-free implants, and SMART (Safe Mercury Amalgam Removal Technique. Holistic Smiles LA offers cosmetic dentistry, including laser-teeth whitening and veneers. Lasers help the providers be conservative when removing a tooth structure and help manage TMJ pain, frenectomies (tongue-tied), and control hemostasis without using harsh chemicals.
Dr. Monempour strives to provide a warm, welcoming, and relaxing environment. He takes the time to explain everything and uses advanced technologies, including laser therapy, digital X-rays, and intraoral cameras, to diagnose complex issues affecting the teeth and gums. Dr. Monempour understands that some patients do not want to take X-rays. Holistic Smiles LA uses only the finest dental equipment to ensure optimal treatment outcomes and enhanced patient safety. Each exam room features an IQAir dental-specific air purification system, fresh ozonated water, and Swiss-made Bien-Air electric handpieces. An in-office store also carries all-natural products from fluoride-free toothpaste, environmentally conscious toothbrushes, natural mouth rinses, and fresh ozonated oils.

I am extremely happy with Dr. Monempour. Beyond being courteous, professional, and informative, he is also highly effective at his job. He extracted three of my teeth and performed a thorough cleaning, and my mouth has not felt better in years. In addition, I have been to numerous other dentists, and while many of them may call themselves holistic, I know for a fact that Dr. Monempour is the real deal. He is constantly up to date on the latest holistic technology, so rest assured that any dental work he does on you will be healthy and use no harmful chemicals. I could not ask for a better dentist!

Dr. Monempour is beyond measure. From our initial phone conversation to my appointments, he was welcoming, professional, forthright, and encouraging. He continually put me at ease while discussing my options and procedures; during which, he was gentle and patient. He gave me pricing upfront, as well as answered every question I had. Gone were the scolding and medieval instruments of dentists past; in their stead, a personable and knowledgable gent with refreshingly modern equipment that eased any anxiety about my procedure. His office is warm and friendly, as was everyone I encountered. I am so thankful to have found him, and will continue visits to maintain his beautiful work. I fervently recommend him!!

Dr. Monempour goes above and beyond to make sure you are informed about the dental care he is providing. You can tell that he is a very generous, kind person, and he actually cares about your teeth. I love that he goes out of his way to give you natural and holistic treatment options. He is very conservative about when to treat cavities, and will try to heal them by making your teeth stronger first and foremost. He's the most personable dentist I've ever had and my mouth felt instantaneously better after the cleaning he gave me. Best cleaning of my life. Get the laser cleaning and you won't regret it!

A GEM! So so SO lucky to have found Dr. Monempour! I've truly never had a Dr. who is as patient, friendly, skilled, efficient & intelligent as Dr. Monempour at Holistic Smiles. He pays meticulous attention to detail and has even gone out of his way to uncover and qualify work done by a past dentist. He has perfected the balance of incorporating both holistic healing modalities as well as the latest medical technology. Dr. M teaches me something new and valuable every time I come. I really enjoyed my first visit with Dr. Monempour! I've always disliked going to the dentist -- it's not fun or pleasant but that's not the experience I had at Holistic Smiles LA! Dr. Monempour is kind, patient, generous, and he truly cares about his patients. He is very knowledgeable and shares information about procedures with his patients and will answer any questions or concerns you may have. As mentioned in his other raving reviews, Dr. Monempour will not up sell or overestimate the work that is needed and I truly appreciate that. I highly recommend and I look forward to my next visit!

Dr. Monempour was great, and so were all of the staff at Holistic Smiles LA (his dental assistant (Nancy i think ?) was super gentle and attentive. Everyone was friendly and kind, and I felt very taken care of. Dr. Monempour takes time to explain everything, happily answers questions, and checked in with me throughout the procedures to make sure I was doing ok. His preference to be the least invasive as possible, either by avoiding procedures, x-rays, etc, unless they are really necessary, and using less invasive newer technologies is great, and as a bonus, the mouth rinse at the end was totally natural with super clean ingredients. I feel like I'm in good hands there.

I'll only take the time to leave review if the service is beyond extraordinary or extremely 1-star. In this case it was the former. I came across this practice looking for a holistic dental office. I was pleased that the office used many products I was familiar with. What sold me was the way the Dr. Monempour spent time with me on the phone when inquiring about pricing and services. I was looking for a practice that took insurance but decided to go with this office based on the friendly and exceptional service. I received a holistic cleaning that was fairly priced. The cleaning was immaculate and successfully removed staining (5-star for that alone)! I wasn't aware that the cleaning normally includes a pumice polishing until checkout; and learned that my teeth was too sensitive for it. Next time, I will push for it anyway. Besides that the entire experience was exceptional. Dr. Monempour was also kind enough to add a complimentary exam with the cleaning which is usually an additional charge. Turns out it was a partial exam and ex rays are still needed. However it was much needed and gave me more insight on my teeth than I came in with. It's a pretty sophisticated imaging machine as well and the office has up to date modern technology. All in all, I highly recommend this practice for holistic dental services. I've been to several dentists in LA and it's refreshing to find a caring, honest and transparent dentist who doesn't try to upsell or overestimate the work that's needed.

Love this dentist!!! And I never thought I would ever say that. Hahaha . Going to the dentist has always been my least favorite appointment and this was a treat. Dr. Jason is super thoughtful and caring and very thorough and professional... so happy I finally found a great person to keep my teeth in tip top shape :)
