Upon graduation from Columbia University, Dr. Bowyer received an award from the Academy of General Dentistry and was recognized/honored by Columbia University as the Best General Practitioner in his class. Now he is living and practicing back in Vancouver, Washington where he enjoys teaching at Clark Colleges School of Hygiene as well as a digital photography course with Dr. Brad McPhee D.D.S.Dr. Jared T. Bowyer was born and raised in Vancouver, Washington, and is a graduate of Prairie High School. His undergraduate studies were completed at the University of Washington, where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Zoology. From there, he moved to the heart of New York City to pursue a degree in Dentistry at Columbia Universitys School of Dental and Oral Surgery. After the completion of his 2nd year, Dr. Bowyer was one of two students chosen to participate in a one-of-a-kind honors program at a prestigious 5th Avenue, Manhattan dental practice under the guidance of Dr. Jeffrey Dorfman (drdorfman.com). During this time, Dr. Bowyer gained extensive experience in all the major fields of dentistry including aesthetic dentistry, crown and bridge and patient management. He was also elected to teach as an assistant for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd year dental students in the areas of dental anatomy, occlusion, operative dentistry and prosthodontics.

I felt Dr Bowyer and his staff are very thorough and respectful (if nervous) and do a great job explaining any issues a patient has. I have been a patient of Dr. Bowyer's for almost a decade, and I'm not sure why I have never taken the time to share why I've stuck around so long. Dr. Bowyer is a profoundly talented, smart, and caring dentist who knows his stuff. He shoots straight with his patients, explains dental situations in terms non-dentists can understand, always has the confidence to set the person in the chair at ease, and performs his procedures effectively and efficiently. He employs a wonderful staff who uphold his values: they are always timely and friendly and do the best work. I'm lucky to have experienced firsthand how much Dr. Bowyer and his team care about their patients.

I think that you shu;ld have a dental surgion on hand to provide such a service instead of doing on your owns. Also when i was fitted for my u[[er denture the girl ;that took the ijpression was very sloppy in my opinion and i contribute my poor fit over the pat two years as not easy to wear.

I've consulted with Dr. Bowyer free of charge. He explained thoroughly and patiently the treatment I needed for the complicated situation of my underlying implant issue. I feel very confident on his treatment plan although it will cost lots of money.
