I really enjoy this dental practice! The employees are great and provide me with a great comfort level. I love the hygienist, Ruby! She's awesome! Dr. Thurber is also wonderful! I would recommend this practice!

Absolutely fantastic dentist and staff. They make you feel at home and welcome with every visit. Always very prompt and quick with amazing attention to detail. My whole family uses their office and I feel comfortable knowing we're in good hands!

Moved to Lubbock from a big city and had trouble finding dentists with my new dental plan. I called Dr Thurber and his office was able to schedule me in right away. My benefits were explained to my satisfaction and services were rendered without a hitch. The staff is friendly and courteous and respectful. I highly recommend Dr Thurber...You won't be disappointed!

This office deserves OMG, the staff couldn't be more fantastic, kind, caring, compassionate. Bed side manner is brilliant, I'm nobody special so one can only assume they treat all their patients so wonderfully. Dr.Thurber, absolute top notch, couldn't of been better, I'd refer everyone I knew to thus practice, not just "Best of the West" best in the state...I cannot rave enough...perfection complete!

In January I needed major work done. I have a large upper fixed bridge. One of the anchor teeth had a cavity. I was told that I needed the cavity treated, all anchor teeth reinforced and an entirely new bridge. I was quoted over $7,000 for the work. I got 3 quotes from other dentists for the work - $8,286; $7, 140; and $7,800. Dr. Thurber's office quoted me $5,800 for the teeth and codes provided. Already a bargain. I have extreme dental phobia. Dr. Thurber was patient, kind, empathetic, and understanding. He examined me and identified another small lower cavity. Dr. Thurber said he could treat the decaying post OVER the bridge. He performed the work, continually asking if my gums were OK because he was working at the gumline. I never felt a thing. I walked out of his office, paying $449 for an exam, x-rays, lower filling and anchor tooth filling and repair. Heck of a lot better than over $7,000 quoted by other dentists.

Who knows what evil lurks on my teeth? Dr. Thurber knows. Dr. Thurber oversees a great team: everyone in the office was courteous, friendly, and very professional. The technician who worked on my teeth was probably one of the best I have ever had. She observed that my blood pressure was high, and I told her that it was because I was nervous. But I did not tell her was that I was nervous that she would discover how bad I am at flossing. Like Sherlock Holmes, her first question upon looking in my mouth was, "Do you floss regularly?" I immediately broke down and confessed. "Yes, for the past week, after I found out I was scheduled for an appointment." Apparently, I would make a terrible criminal mastermind, and I need to floss better.

I had to have a tooth extracted and Dr. Thurber & his crew were absolutely awesome! I will never go to another dentist! They made the whole situation very easy and honestly we were laughing the whole time. Highly recommended!!! Thanks y'all!
