For 47 years, Dr. James T. Jesse has been delivering quality dental care to patients. Dr. Jesse is a Loma Linda native and completed his undergraduate studies at La Sierra University. He then earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Loma Linda University School of Dentistry in 1973. Over the past few years Dr. Jesse has slowed down to spend time with his 3 little grandsons. Before grandkids he spent years lecturing nationally and internationally on minimally invasive dentistry, laser therapy bio stimulation, endodontics, implants, and dental facial esthetics. From 1999-2012 he spent his Tuesday afternoons at LLU dental school as a clinic insturctor and he currently donates time with the graduate orthodontic program on the use of lasers. Although he has slowed down to spend more time with family, he continues to explore and advance new techniques in dentistry. Dr. Jesse and his wife, Kay, have two daughters and are proud grandparents of Mason, Myles, and Maddox. When not practicing dentistry, Dr. Jesse enjoys logging in Oregon and waterskiing in Arkansas. Recently, he has been spending time with his grandsons at Disneyland and started taking snowboarding lessons so he can keep up with the boys!
Chris completed dental assisting in 1981 and has been Dr. Jesses left-hand woman ever since. Chris has assisted thousands of patients with their dental needs, always exceeding patient expectations. We are blessed to have her knowledge and skill in our office. Chris truly cares about her patients and her kind demeanor and expertise with all types of dental treatment, will put you at ease immediately. She places a high priority in making sure every patient receives quality care. You will feel well taken care of with Chris! When Chris isnt caring for her patients, she is spending time with her husband and three wonderful kids!
Teri graduated from dental assisting school in 2004 and is currently working on becoming a registered dental assistant. She worked in our office from 2003-2012 and we are happy to have her sweet personality back in our office to provide our patients with excellent dental care. She is committed to patient comfort and ensuring they have an excellent dental experience. Teri loves to spend time with her husband and two kids. They enjoy biking, playing board games, and going to church as a family.
Denise graduated from dental assisting school in 2008 and started working for us shortly after. Her background as a dental assistant has provided her with a wealth of knowledge that always helps our patients better understand their treatment plans, financial aspects, and insurance benefits. Her warm smile will welcome you as you come through our front door. Every day she works diligently to assist patients with planning for their dental treatment in order to ensure that optimum care is provided. Denise enjoys relaxing with her husband and kids.
Jane started working for us in 1985 as our receptionist. She has had many jobs in our office over the years helping in the front and back. Over time, she has become that friendly face that everyone knows and trusts. Our patients place a great deal of confidence with Jane because they have learned through the years that she is going to do her very best to meet their needs. When she isnt caring for our patients, you can find Jane spending quality time with her husband and daughter. Jane also dedicates a lot of her time helping her community.
Jacqulyn graduated dental hygiene in 2017 and is currently working on her Bachelor of Science in dental hygiene. She has a passion for dental hygiene and her primary goal is to make sure that her patients know how much she truly cares about them. She is committed to tending to each patients individual needs and making sure that they receive the highest level of quality care and service while receiving treatment in our office. When she isnt working or studying for her B.S., she enjoys outdoor actives with her fianc, friends, and family.
Alexis started her dental career as a dental assistant in our office and then furthered her education and graduated from dental hygiene school in 2014. She chose a career in dentistry because growing up she thought going to the dentist was fun and always wanted to work in a dental office. Her smile is contagious and immediately helps patients relax and feel at ease. She is warm, welcoming, and caring. When she isnt helping her patients with their oral health, Alexis enjoys spending time with her husband and two kids.
Jayme graduated dental hygiene in 2009 and has been working here ever since. She loves working with her friends and family and feels that many of her patients are extended family. Jayme enjoys getting to know each patient personally, making them feel at home and individualizing their treatment needs. When she isnt at the office you can find her spending time with her three young boys and husband. She loves going on adventures with her family to Yosemite and Oregon.
Rachel graduated from Loma Linda Universitys dental hygiene program in 2008. She has been working for Dr. Jesse for over ten years. She is a highly skilled oral health care professional and is dedicated to providing her patients with the treatment, education, and tools necessary for optimum oral health and beautiful smiles. She really enjoys getting to know her patients and their dental needs. When she is not at work she loves spending time with her husband and three little boys.
Sarah graduated in 2018 from Loma Linda Universitys dental hygiene program. She is excellent at educating her patients on how to maintain their smiles for a lifetime. Her number one priority is always delivering the best possible treatment to her patients. When she isnt cleaning teeth, Sarah loves to cook, explore the outdoors, and spending her free time with her boyfriend and their dog named lily.

I would've given this place a four or five star review had it just been based on 1 experience. However, I'm leaving this review now based on multiple experiences with their office, the most recent of which has been a nightmare. At several days old when we got an initial tongue and lip tie removal, that helped the breastfeeding issues. However, it grew back after one year, and I had to take my daughter back. Even though Dr. Jesse "guarantees" his work, and he claims when they have growth spurts it can cause the tie to go back, I've been told by other practitioners (OMT, DDS) that we should've been given exercises or something to prevent it from reattaching. So it was a waste of a lot of time, and more trauma for my daughter. Fast forward years later and the lip tie has reattached AGAIN, and I've had nothing short of a nightmare dealing with their office. They're defensive about the quality of his work, not professional, acted like I was indebted to them for Dr. Jesse even being willing to consider doing it a 3rd time, and gave me no guarantee he would even do it. If it's done right and we're given the proper exercises, this wouldn't have happened to begin with. And if it is true that it grows back no matter how diligent you are, then disclose upfront to people that it might grow back multiple times, and truly be willing to honor your "guarantee" without making people feel guilty or have to jump through so many hoops. I've reached out to their office 5-6 times via email and phone, and I've even had 2 other professional opinions sent to their office showing she needs another tie release, and they claimed it was fine and there was not one needed. She clearly has a tie, has crowding in the teeth, mouth breathing, and many other obvious signs her jaw isn't developing with adequate space because the tongue is not moving properly. I was given a time the doctor was allegedly going to contact me after already waiting for days, and no returned call at the promised time. Now he's out of the office for 5 days, I had to pull her out of Myofunctional therapy, and still no tie release in place. I'm hesitant to contact their office cause they were so rude and defensive last time. I'd go somewhere where the doctor and his staff genuinely care and will treat customers with respect, while also hearing their concerns and being willing to honor what they say; especially when there's multiple other professionals confirming what my intuition already told me needs to happen. Maybe he's gotten too busy or the ego of him/his staff is untouchable. Either way, you shouldn't be in the service business if you're not customer focused. So now that was all a waste of time and money, and I'll have to find someone else to do it? I'm sick of chasing them down with still no returned calls or emails after over a week. Also, the obstinate, impolite behavior of their staff is entirely inappropriate. AVOID this place. Wish I would've gone with another doctor.

I feel that Dr. Jesse advocated for an unnecessary lip tie revision. I went in to see if there was anything inhibiting breast feeding, as my son was latching but unable to transfer an adequate amount of milk. I was told he had a terrible lip tie and that surgery would surely solve the problem. There was no improvement in the breastfeeding, and my son was in pain for days afterwards. I feel like I put my son through an unnecessary surgery. I just wanted to post my experience here so other news parents can know that not 100% of the cases are the smashing success that Dr. Jesse and his team exuberantly sell.

Although him and his staff were really nice and made u feel comfortable I don't feel like the revision was done properly. Or maybe it was but he told me not to worry about stretches as I should of done stretches no matter what cause now 4 weeks later and his lip tie as come back and my 3 month old is back to fussy and always unhappy. His latch is poor and getting lip blisters like crazy now. I feel like I wasted all the money just to be back to sqaure one and he's even worse than before I did the revision.

Great staff and the best dentist! Dr. Jesse is awesome, always fixing whatever I need done. The office is friendly and inviting. Dental hygienist are wonderful and so are the dental assistants. No waiting for a crown here, they have a machine that makes it right there in the office while you wait! Amazing!

I have taken both of my children to Dr. Jesse for lip and tongue tie revisions. He is amazing at what he does. He is super patient, kind, informative, and knowledgeable. He makes you very comfortable, and explains the procedures well. He does a great job of informing you of what can happen if the ties are left as well.

We were referred to Dr. Jesse by our Midwife when she suspected our son was born with a tongue-tie. Dr. Jesse's office was able to get us in quickly. The office is well kept and the office staff is very friendly. They even told me where the good restaurants were near by so we could get dinner after. Dr. Jesse was personable and very knowledgeable. He gave us a full run down of why he knew it to be a lip-tie and not a tongue-tie; My wife held our 9 day old son for the entire procedure to help sooth him and comfort him. I was able to stay in the room and observe as well during the procedure. After numbing the area, he used a laser to cut the skin that was holding the upper lip down, it took about 30 seconds for the actual procedure and we were in the room with him a total of about 10 minutes start to finish. Our son is now able to breastfeed and we are thrilled to be giving up the pump and bottle. We are very thankful to Dr. Jesse for a great job and service. One notable mention is that your service/procedure cost is due up front on your way out. They will bill the insurance after and reimburse you the amount paid by insurance. Thought that would be useful to know.

Our 2 month old needed her lip tie revised and he was recommended to us. I was super nervous but everyone was great, especially Dr. Jesse. Procedure was quick and baby girl is doing great!
