Dr. James T. Aris and the professional team of Wilton Center Family Dentistry are dedicated to creating a partnership with every patient they treat to help them achieve and maintain their optimal dental health. During his 27 years practicing dentistry, Dr. Aris has accepted the charge to keep abreast of advances in the field for the benefit of his patients and the betterment of dentistry. His state-of-the-art CAD/CAM 3-D system allows him to create crowns, inlays, onlays and veneers on-site in just one day. Wilton Center Family Dentistry also uses A-dec hospital-grade sterilization, the latest Dexis digital x-rays, and will be introducing a Zeiss microscope.
Dr. Aris extraordinary commitment to education allows him to perform sophisticated procedures including full-mouth reconstructions, root canals, implants and bone grafts. Hes among the top one percent of general dentists in this country who have earned a Mastership from the Academy of General Dentistry. In 2014, the Dawson Academy, one of the leading international organizations for post-graduate dental education, announced that Dr. Aris achieved Scholar of the Dawson Academy. The Dawson Academy is where dentists come to gain a better understanding of not only teeth, but also the muscles and systems that control them. A believer in life-long learning, Dr. Aris just completed NYU Linhart Continuing Dental Educations Advanced Full-Mouth Reconstruction yearlong course. Dr. Aris is recognized as a Leading Physician of the World and Top General and Cosmetic Dentist by the International Association of Dentists.
Dr. Aris is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine, where he received his Doctorate of Medical Dentistry. He is a member of the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, CT State Dental Society, American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, a Dawson Dentist Scholar, past President of the Greater Norwalk Dental Society, and a founder of the Wilton Dental Study Group launched 20-years ago. MASTERSHIP: Dr. James T. Aris, DMD, MAGD, in earning his Mastership Award from the Academy of General Dentistry needed to complete 1,100 hours on continuing dental education post-doctorate, of which 400 were required to be hands- on (demonstrating a mastery of the skills and techniques being taught). He completed 1,355 hours of which 511 were hands-on. The Academy of General Dentistry requires that the courses be distributed between 15 disciplines: Basic Science; Endodontics; Myofascial Pain/Occlusion; Operative (Restorative) Dentistry; Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery; Orthodontics; Pediatric Dentistry; Periodontics; Practice Management and Human Resources; Prosthodontics/Fixed; Prosthodontics/ Removable; Implants; Oral Medicine/Oral Diagnosis/Oral Pathology; Special Patient Care; and Esthetics/Cosmetic Dentistry.
Dr. Aris attended continuing dental education courses throughout the United States including University of Pennsylvania, NYU, Tufts and The Dawson Academy, and courses offered through the American Dental Association and the Connecticut State Dental Association.

Dr Aris is amazing ! The way he treats his patients is above and beyond. He makes sure you are comfortable and relaxed I believe the whole staff is amazing. From the front desk staff to all the hygienist and assistant. I highly recommend this office.

I've been to many dentist in my life, but Dr. Arris & Dr. Trinh along with their staff are the most knowledgeable and professional I have encountered. My mouth was a mess and they got back to a great spot, along with providing me the tools and schedule to maintain it.

Advanced Dentistry of Wilton has been taking care of my family's dental needs since we moved to Wilton seven years ago. I can say without a doubt that this is the most caring, personable, and competent staff that I've ever met in a health care setting. From Pam and Pamela....who greet you at the front desk....remembering details of your last conversation.....to the amazing dental hygienists like Natalie....to the calm and caring demeanor of Dr. Aris himself....this is the most enjoyable experience that I've ever had going to the dentist. As a health care professional myself.....I can tell you that recommendations like this don't come easily or often. Highly recommended.....without reservation!

I have never experienced a dentist finer than Dr. Aris. He is the ultimate perfectionist. Not only is he thorough, professional and competent, he is also extremely understanding and compassionate. What other dentist do you know who provides his cell and home phone numbers after even a minor procedure? He also personally calls the evening of most procedures just to check in. His entire staff shares the same qualities. I'm so happy I found Dr. Aris and highly recommend him!

I relocated to Wilton from the United Kingdom a few months ago and decided to register with Dr. Aris based on the recommendation from friends and colleagues. And they did not disappoint me. After years of standard UK dentistry (which is a 'little' bit below US standards) I was very pleasantly surprised about the whole experience. From the moment of booking the appointment to finally walking out about 5 visits (all within the same week) later, everything was incredibly professional and pleasant. All the staff are very courteous, friendly and committed to getting the best result for you. Dr Aris is also a revelation. Patient, listening, calm yet decisive. And he has a nice sense of humor too! He even came in on his day off to put a crown back in place which had fallen out, without any signs of reluctance. The facilities are also wonderful. Very modern, with the latest equipment all available on site. They were able to measure me up for a new crown and 'install' it within two hours (after having made it on site). Maybe this is common in the US, but it is certainly not in the UK. I really would recommend anyone to use this dentist practice and I will certainly be back for my regular check ups.

I have been going to see Dr. Aris for over 10 years now, and will never go anyone else! I am greeted the minute I step in the door every time by his wonderful wife or Judy at the front desk. His hygienists are so nice and do a wonderful job cleaning and are very gentle. Dr. Aris does a fantastic job with his dental work and is very sensitive to my needs and acknowledges all of my concerns. This practice is fantastic and makes a sometimes unpleasant experience great. I know I am in good hands and they will do no wrong. Beautiful, clean, and extremely up to date facility and tools. If you are every nervous about the dentist, go here, you won't be sorry! (and you will come out with shiny healthier teeth)

Dr. Aris is amazing! He truly cares about his patients. I've had some recent dental work done and I always feel like I'm in excellent hands. He even calls me to check on how I'm feeling after treatments. The staff is top notch as well, from Judy in billing to the front desk to all of the hygienists.And if you have a dental issue they get you right in.
