James S. Trichak Dentistry is a modern, state-of-the-art practice offering area patients a full-range of general and cosmetic dental services, from routine check-ups to complete smile makeovers. Dr. Trichak practices conservative, proactive dentistry utilizing the latest in dental technology. Your comfort is always a primary concern.
Jim was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois. As a child he enjoyed sports and outdoor activities. As a teen Jim was a 3 sport athlete in school and started his career in community service as a volunteer for his communitys suicide prevention hotline. He completed his undergraduate degree at University of the Pacific with a BS in physical chemistry while working as a dealer of antique sterling silver. Jim graduated in 1985 from the University of the Pacific Dental School in San Francisco. He moved to Phoenix Arizona in 1985 to start his dental practice. He continues to give back to his community as a volunteer for Hospice of The Valley. In his free time, Jim enjoys reading, fishing, outdoor adventures and time with his family.

I worked with Jim for 3 years and I can tell you he is amazing. His bedside manor is wonderful , he makes patients feel at ease.who may have anxiety. Jim is realistic about your treatment if needed If I could work for Jim again, I would do it in a heartbeat. Thank you Jim and staff. You rock!!!!

I have been going to this office for a number of years, and I really enjoy Dr. Trichak and his staff. Unfortunately, my experience with the front desk has been less then exceptional like the rest of his staff. In December, sadly my grandfather passed away and I was out of sorts. I received a call a couple days after, letting my know I missed my appointment that morning. I apologized and asked to reschedule, and I was met with a laugh and "you have to pay the late fee first!" It was very unprofessional and didn't give the time of day to ask why I may have missed the appointment. My family also are patients, and my mother had an appointment a few days after mine and advised the staff of what has happened to my grandfather. I was still forced to pay the fee regardless and I rescheduled. My most recent appointment, I woke up that day with flu like symptoms and did not want to risk infecting others. I ultimately had COVID which lasted over a week with symptoms. I called and let them know I had symptoms and I would not make the appointment. Later that week I received another fee in the form of a letter, not even a call. I called back and explained, once again asking to reschedule. I was met again with a rude, rigid response from Gwen. Essentially, she said that anyone could call in and say they weren't feeling good or they had a death in the family, and the dentist has bills to pay. This response not only lacks a reasonable amount of good judgement and ability to make a good business decision, but also makes me feel like I am just a number to this office and my health is not of consequence. I advised Gwen I will not be returning due to her lack of options, and she simply wished me a good day. I am very saddened to be leaving Dr. Trichak and the wonderful staff he has, excluding Gwen.

I have been going to this gentleman's practice for 39 years. He is the most caring and patient dentist you will ever meet. Honest about every part of your care and explains all options available. If you're afraid of going to the dentist...this is the Dentist you've been looking for!

Just moved to phoenix from chicago. The staff, expensive and professionalism is EXCEPTIONAL here. After being with same doctors and dentist for 25yrs plus and not having alot of luck since ive been here this was a breath of fresh air.

I haven't been to the dentist in a very long time...and by a long time I mean 20+ years! I finally sucked it up and made an appointment hoping for the best but expecting the worst. The staff was very helpful and made it painless. Dr. Trichak walked me through everything and answered all my questions. I'll be going back every 6 months now for regular cleanings.

Ok y'all, I have serious anxiety with going to the dentist! The wonderful team here made me feel comfortable, and treated me as a person, not just a diagnosis! They explained everything to me, and not once showed irritation with me for being so anxious! They helped me make a plan of action, and I will definitely go back and recommend anyone looking for a dentist to go here! My friend went with me, and by the time I left, she made an appointment for herself! Amazing team here!
