Dr. Mariusz Borowicz has 17 years of experience in the dental field. He grew up in the Western Suburbs and earned his psychology degree, magna cum laude, from Loyola University Chicago. He graduated from the University of Illinois College of Dentistry, where he earned multiple awards for his accomplishments and was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Honor Dental Society, one of the highest honors in the dental field.
With a passion for excellence, Dr. Borowicz went on to complete a general practice residency at the University of Colorado in Denver, where he obtained advanced training in all aspects of dentistry including implants, oral surgery, sedation and root canal therapy. He practiced in downtown Denver where he helped to grow a small dental office into a thriving practice by incorporating new technology and improving quality of care as well as patient satisfaction.
Dr. Borowicz loves building relationships with his patients based on mutual respect and trust. He believes dentistry is a science and an art and he loves the sense of gratification that comes from helping people achieve better oral health, leading to better overall health.
Dr. Borowicz and his wife Magda have since moved back to Chicago to be closer to family. They have two children, Peter and Hanna. Dr. Borowicz is a Major in the Army National Guard and believes in giving back to the community by volunteering his time to provide dental care to people who are in need. When hes not running around being the designated staff hugger, Dr. Borowicz enjoys skiing, cycling, playing soccer, sailing. and fantasizing about a life as a cowboy.
Dr. Tony Hormanski graduated from Loyola University School of Dentistry in 1980. He started working with one of his classmates and his father in their general dentistry practice in Elgin, Illinois. During that time both he and his dental school classmate and lab partner, Dr. James Hoffman DDS, were searching for an area to open up their own practice. They originally opened up a practice in Crestwood, Illinois and a few years later established Dentists of Hinsdale Lake, in Willowbrook, Illinois.
Dr. Hormanski and his wife, Pam, live in Burr Ridge, Illinois. They have three grown children who all live in the western suburbs. When hes taking a break from being the offices gentle giant, he enjoys time with his family and dogs, sports and road trips, especially throughout Wisconsin. He enjoys the interactions he has with his patients and considers himself lucky to be part of their lives and to have them as part of his dental family.
Dr. Lfvall has been practicing for 10 years. He was born and raised in beautiful Mendoza, Argentina, where, following in the steps of his father, he studied Dentistry. After graduating first in his class, he promptly completed postgraduate courses in root canal therapy, minimally invasive dentistry and Epidemiology.
Dr. Lfvall remained in Argentina, working in private practice and at his Alma Mater as an Assistant Professor in the Epidemiology Department, until he was accepted into the Advanced Education in General Dentistry Residency at the University of Connecticut. Following his Residency he continued with a General Dentistry Fellowship, training in advanced aspects of dentistry including; implant surgery, sedation, computer assisted procedures and care for patients with special needs.
Dr Lfvall worked for a community health center for three years, almost exclusively with pediatric patients, while enjoying the opportunity to work as an Adjunct Clinical Assistant Professor for the University of Illinois at Chicago, Department of Pediatrics.
Dr Lfvall loves dentistry because it fuses two of his passions: science and art. He also loves to utilize his eternal patience and optimism when working with children and patients who need a little extra TLC.
When Dr. Lfvall isnt busy finding new uses for the Solea laser, he enjoys traveling, playing soccer, which he says is basically a law in Argentina, photography, and exploring the world on his bike. He has 3 siblings and a one year old nephew, who rocks his world. Most of his family still lives in Argentina and he loves getting. chance to go back home for a visit.
Dr. Chummars goal is to establish a long-term relationship with her patients based on trust and respect. Over the years, shes learned that the key to effective dentistry is having open communication between the patient and the dental provider. She welcomes your input and questions regarding your treatment options. Having you involved in the decision-making process will help to ensure that you receive the best treatment and reach your optimal dental health.
Dr. Chummar enjoys every aspect of dentistry, however, she has a deep passion for smile makeovers through prosthodontics. Being able to restore a smile through dental implants, crowns, or bridges is truly rewarding.
Dr. Chummar grew up in New York. She finished her undergraduate studies at the University at Buffalo, earned her DDS degree from New York University, and completed her residency at StonyBrook University. Dr. Chummar has practiced comprehensive dental care in both New York and the Chicagoland area. We feel she makes a great addition to our team.
Basia has been in the dental field for eights years. She graduated with high honors from College of Dupage with a degree in Dental Hygiene. She received the Golden Scaler Award in recognition of being the top student in her class. She has a Bachelors degree in teaching but decided to pursue career in dental due to her love for healthcare. her favorite thing about her job is being able to not only give patients the proper care they need, but also the relationships she gets to build with them along the way. She believes that every patient has a story and she loves to be a part of it.
Katie has been working in dentistry for 4 years. She studied at College of DuPage and is the recipient of the Hu-Friedy Golden Scaler Award as well as the Colgate STAR award for her graduating class. She chose dentistry because of the environment, noting that she loves that no two days are ever the same, and that the field is constantly evolving to better peoples health. She also enjoys the personal interactions with the people she serves.
She is the mother of two little fur babies (meow) and is married to her gorgeous husband Randy! She enjoys spending her free time with family and friends along with anything that brings her outdoors enjoying nature. When Katie is not busy saving lives and patients bone levels, she is part of a food blogging group named the Traveling Forks.
Anessa graduated with honors and Golden Scaler Award from Harper Dental Hygiene Program in 2005. She chose the dental healthcare profession due to her compassionate heart and service to others. we are here to serve others, through serving others you help yourself. Her role as a healthcare professional is to educate and prevent dental disease through comprehensive care. Anessa thinks that prevention and holistic approach to life is the key to health. She practices self-awareness. She is a vegetarian, works out and meditates daily. In her spare time, she teaches meditation to others and spends time with her beautiful family. Since prevention is the key lets start with our mouth.
