Horrible experience for being a first time patient! The front desk secretary is either too busy to schedule the correct appointment or incompetent. After calling last week to schedule an exam, cleaning and fillings, I received none of those services during my brief visit! Instead, I had my first name butchered (even though I put the pronunciation in parentheses next to my name) and an hour of my morning wasted on getting only a few x-rays done! After being rushed out of the office and told to come back next week, I called later the same day to see why I hadn't gotten a cleaning done and was told that the secretary put the wrong information in the computer. Not only that, she did not verify my insurance coverage and told me that I would be getting silver fillings, not the white composite fillings that I'm covered for! This is completely unacceptable and shows a lack of caring about your patients! You can imagine my surprise when later that evening, much to my dismay, Dr. Wallis called to ask why I hadn't said something to him about needing a cleaning done! I explained to him that I had already told his secretary why I was there, so why should I have to tell him too? He should already know what I'm being seen for! So, not only did I not receive the service I was expecting, I was chastised for not speaking up! Dr. Wallis' only concern was that I left a negative review on his website, not that his staff had dropped the ball. He literally passed the buck onto me by telling me it's my fault for not speaking up, when he didn't even have the time to see me and treat me to begin with by his own admission! Stay away and save yourself the trouble of an incompetent staff and "dentist". The worst experience I've ever had!

My children have been here for a few years so I came in after switching insurance. They were very helpful with my choice of insurance plans to be sure I was covered best. My first visit I was in the chair within 10 minutes. My second was for a crown which went well. This visit was for a permanent crown and Dr. Wallis was very patient and worked hard to be sure it was right. This crown was difficult so he was very honest about the chances that it may fail but it was worth trying before moving to a more invasive procedure. Very happy.
