Dr James Claggett is by far one of the most caring , patient , kind, and Expertise Dentist that I've ever had, and in my 60 + years I've been to quite a few trying to find one that I felt at ease with. When I first came to him around 12 or so years ago, I had avoided dentists for the 10 years prior, mostly due to fear of pain, and even embarrassment that I had waited so long. Well when I walked into this office, I instantly had a sense of peace. I was greeted warmly by the receptionist...and then as I filled out the new patient form, I noticed the neatly decorated waiting room With one of my favorite Bible verses framed on the wall. Dr Claggett and his assistants are just fantastic! Tracy is the assistant that I've had the most, and she is a sweetheart! Though I'm a patient and I do not see them even as often as I should ,... I always feel confident when I come back, and KNOW that I will receive the best care there. No more looking. I am HOME

Dr Jim and his wife and staff are the BEST!!! Not only competent but excellent at what they do and all have loving, caring spirits. It's a joy to go to the dentist when it's Dr Jim Clagett!!!

Dr. Clagett and his staff are fantastic! He has been my dentist for 30+ years and the only dentist my children have seen. If I could convince him and his practice to move to GA, life would be perfect! :-) We miss you!

Fast, Friendly and Professional. I have been a client for over 5 years and every visit I get greeted by name at the door as I arrive. No more than a few short minutes I am back in the chair and being taken care of with step-by-step plan of action. The entire staff works as team and make the experience 1st class. Friendly from start to finish. Gentle yet meticulous during the cleaning. 5/5 Sucks that they are booked 7 months in advance. Had an emergency come up today and I will likely have to skip this cleaning.

Let me start off by saying that the quality of work I received while a patient there was exceptional. I hadn't been to the dentist in years and my teeth had serious issues. They welcomed me in, laid out a plan and made me feel comfortable that everything could be taken care of. Everything was great, the work done was phenomenal, the staff was incredibly friendly, the co-pays were low. After every appointment they wanted to set up another one to keep working, I ALWAYS stated that I wanted to make sure that my insurance was still paying and that there wouldn't be a problem next time I can in. I was always assured without a doubt that the insurance was paying and everything was fine. Eventually, I knew I was approaching my maximum benefit for the calendar year, so I always prodded and prodded to make sure there was still money left towards my benefit. "Everything is fine" Then, I got a secondary insurance. I went in a week before my next appointment to make sure there was time to resolve any issues, just in case. They took my information and again everything checked out, I was covered. Five more appointments went by where they billed my primary and my secondary insurance then scheduled another appointment. Every single time they charged me no co-pay and I protested every single time that it was too good to be true. I was told, "welcome to having two insurances". Lo and behold I just went in and paid in full the last five appointments because I had reached my maximum benefit on my primary and my secondary doesn't cover this office after I was told repeatedly that they were both paying and I was fine. The bill wasn't reduced to the amount that the insurance companies haggle down to, there was never a single admittance that the front office didn't actually know if the insurance company would pay the whole time. All I got was here's your outstanding balance have a good day. In summary, the dentists in the building are friendly, professional, and very skilled at what they do. If you're looking to become a patient here, talk to your insurance company yourself to make sure that they cover this office and what charges to expect because the front office will always tell you that everything is good.

If i could give 0 stars I would. This has been the most miserable experience with a dentist I have ever had. I used to go to this dentist years ago and the previous dentist was amazing. I have recently gone back and was seeing Dr. Chris. It has been a complete nightmare. I have had more problems with my teeth that he worked on and it has cost me over $3k to fix what he has messed up. I have been in so much pain, the one tooth I had to rush to a surgeon to get it pulled because I couldn't stand the pain anymore. One tooth that has never bothered me at all I now have to get a root canal because he has exposed a nerve. He replaced two fillings in the back and ever since my mouth has tasted like straight metal. I have been back to him at least 3 or 4 times to get him to try and fix the problems. Well here is June and problems still are not fixed my mouth still tastes like metal. When I mentioned that to him he acted like he had no idea what I was talking about. I called the office today because I'm just tired of being miserable with tooth pain. When I spoke to the secretary and explained the situation to her she told me I would have to wait 7 weeks to get an appt with Dr. Glagett. I told her I really couldn't wait another 7 weeks. She repeatedly told me I would have to see Dr Chris when I had repeatedly expressed my displeasure with him. After about 20 minutes of arguing with her she asked for my phone number and told me she would have someone call me back. This has been absolutely the most horrible dental experience I have ever had. Not only am I out of pocket 3 grand I will more than likely have to find another dentist to fix the mess that this dentist has caused. If I get any kind of response from this and something changes in the next few days I will delete my post. I hope others have a better experience than I did with Dr Chris.

I really like this Dentistry and how the staff treats you. They are so welcoming and make you feel right at home when you go in for an appointment. The hygienist is gentle too and gets you in and out while doing a thorough job.

Dr. Clagett is the the main reason I go here. He is wonderful and is very accommodating. When I go in for my appointment I never have to wait long and the staff is very courteous and congenial too.

It is always a pleasant experience every time I go in for one of my appointments with Dr. Clagett. He is so personable and professional and really made me feel at ease when I underwent a procedure last fall. I was a little nervous but he explained everything to me and I felt no pain.

Awesome dental office. Dr. Stephen Kusmack is just wonderful. I have not seen Dr. Clagett yet. The nurses are great and friendly. Dr.Kusmack called me his self to see how I was doing, after my procedure. The nurse called me the day before to notify me of an earlier appointment I could have if I wanted it. You do not find Dr.s that make it a conscious effort to see how their patients are feeling. I will forever use this dental facility, thanks to Dr. Kusmack and his superior staff.
