Truly the best dentist I have ever seen. I've seen many dentists in my life, and many have told me I have irreparable dental issues. Dr. Klusmier was able to fix all of them. My teeth would not look as amazing as they do if it wasn't for him. I am so often complimented for my teeth and I always credit Dr. Klusmier for it. The receptionist is super nice. The hygienists are awesome and will give you a new definition of clean teeth. You will be shocked to the core. They are all so nice and you will leave the office feeling warm and fuzzy inside. Plus, your teeth will be on the fast track to perfection. I promise you, there never was and never again will be a dentist like Dr. Klusmier.

Dr. James Klusmier is one of only two dentist in Grant county who accepts Medicaid (Moda) dental ins. This ins. assigns a dental provider to you. Dr. Klusmier was assigned as my dental provider. Two weeks ago I called his office to make an appointment for a tooth extraction, the minute I said I have Medicaid ins. the receptionist became hostile towards me, speaking to me like I was beneath her . She said she would email me the paperwork insisting that I had to sign a release of information so they could get the records from my last dentist I told her it's been so long I doubt they still have my records, her response was "you'll have lots of time to figure it out". Well I waited a couple of hours for the paperwork to be emailed and nothing was sent, so I drove over to the clinic to get them. While I was standing there waiting for the receptionist to hand me the papers I ask when I could see the dentist and attempted to explain to her this was rather an emergency, "that comment falling on deaf ears", she looked at the schedule and said Oct. 28, this was the second time I had ask to make an appointment and she didn't give me one. After getting home and reading the release of information form I saw that I did not have to sign this release to see the dentist so I explained to her I would opt out the reason being the same as I told her when I was on the phone asking for an appointment the first time. I then ask for an appointment once again via email this receptionist did not respond, I waited until the next day and called to try and get an appointment, this time no one answered the phone, a recording came on saying to leave your name and # she would call back as soon as possible, again nothing. I finally called moda and ask to change my provider than emailed her to ask that all of my personal information ( social security # drivers licence #) be destroyed. Again she did not respond to my email. I would say to Dr. Klusmier he may want to withdraw his name from Medicaid to save any other person from being disrespected in his place of business by his receptionist, or hire someone that isn't bias towards others because of their ins. provider or for any other reason.

Dr Klusmier and his staff have taken excellent care of me, my husband and even out of town family members. I am limited financially to my Social Security income and when I needed help with my existing dentures, Dr Klusmier developed a plan for me, with a cost I could actually afford, even offering realistic payments. He began work immediately and provided any and all support I required, not once adding any cost to our original plan! I am very grateful for his expertise and care! He installed permanent screws in my lower jaw bone that make even my old dentures stay fixed in place! I have compared his costs to those my friends and others have quoted and his are at least 50%-75% lower, and I can eat normally after over 50 years of wearing poorly fitting dentures! He is a decent man with a heart for his community! (I just found this site while trying to find help with a Medicare problem here in Grant County, Oregon...no one asked me to write anything).
