Dr. Homrighausen is a lifelong resident of New Albany. He received a B.A. in Biology and B.A. in Chemistry from Indiana University. He then attended the University Of Louisville School Of Dentistry where he received his D.M.D. and was a member of the Beta Delta Honor Fraternity.
Dr. Homrighausen is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons and a Diplomate of the American Association of Dental Anesthesiologists. He is an active member of the American Association of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons, American Dental Association, Louisville Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, Indiana Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and a member of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists.
Dr. Homrighausen has two lovely daughters, Abigail and Meredith. He remains very involved with their school and extracurricular activities. Being a successful, loving parent is his most rewarding responsibility.

Rude! Disrespectful! My mind is blown on the level of disrespect from the trash they have in the office. Would not recommend anyone suffer through the incompetence of dealing with animals like this.

I was absolutely terrified of having so much work done in one visit! Dr. Homrighausen and staff made me comfortable and at ease. I'm only a couple days in recovery and am so glad I trusted them with my surgery.

I absolutely love this man hes so down to earth caring calls to check up on you and hes a pro at what he does i have horrible anxiety and am so scared to get my teeth pulled but he does it so quick its like nothing happened thanks so much ive had 2 teeth pulled and have 2 to go i wouldn't go anywhere else this dentist is amazing id recommend him 1000 times over agian! Staff are amazing also!

I was recommended here for my son's oral surgery. He was very young 6 or 7 at the time. His first oral surgery. My son is now 15 years old and to this day can't stand a dentist thanks to his appointment here. He was knocked out for the procedure, I wasn't there when he woke and he was terrified. He was moved to the recovery area and as I tried to console him Dr. H came out and looked at my son and told him to stop screaming it was scaring his patients and to save it for Halloween, which was the next day. I was mortified, to say the least, so was the Nurse/Assistant that was with my son and I. I told her I wanted to leave immediately, she said she understood and had never saw the Dr act that way. I carried my son to the car as I waa crying mad. I still to this day have never had anyone talk to myself or my son that way. I'm happy everyone else in the reviews had a great experience but this place ruined my son when it comes to dental work. I did advise my son's dentist that referred us there too. What kind of Dr talks to a scared little boy that way?

Very polite, friendly, courteous staff. Doctor was very courteous made me feel comfortable about getting my tooth extracted. Would highly recommend him to anyone.

Had my 1st visit today with Dr Homrighausen. I am very happy to say, my husband & I were very satisfied with our visit. He & his staff, all were wonderful. Very polite, super friendly. He was very knowledgeable & precise in explaining the x-rays & how he would be doing the procedure & what to expect after work is completed.(which would be 100% complete satisfaction) His attending nurse was also outstanding with her caring nature & was just as knowledgeable in giving explanations & instructions. The lady who did the insurance, the receptionist who signed us in, All deserve 5 stars! Definitely made up for having to make the dreaded long drive to & from E'ville.

My experience with Dr. Homrighausen's practice has been exceptional. I have had to visit them often for the same issue and every time I arrive, I feel welcome. Everyone in the office is kind, courteous and professional. I love their interaction with each other and the patients. It makes health care more comfortable and less stressful. It means a lot that Dr. Homrighausen himself calls to check on me. Thanks for such great care!

This was my first time to ever met him n his staff. I couldn't be more pleased with them. They are some great people, not only that they are very friendly n very helpful. Dr.H is absolutely the most compassionate oral surgeon there is. I would Not trust any other than him to take care of my teeth. He truly cares about his patient. His staff WENT above and beyond to insure the best service possible for me. KIDDOS TO ALL THE STAFF !!!!!

I had a great experience for an emergency extraction. Staff was responsive, the dentist was excellent. Extraction happened fast, was painless, and within three days it was mostly healed. They told me exactly how much my insurance would pay before they did it. I'd give bonus points for seeing emergencies during the pandemic if I could. I can't think of a single thing that could have been improved.

Dr H is and always will be my favorite oral surgeon! I had my wisdom teeth cut out by him in 2017 and back today in 2020 to have a tooth pulled! He's the best around highly recommend him!

Cant find anything negative to say. Dr H made me and my mom feel welcome. Id be lying if i said that i was looking fwd to having 3 teeth removed but this dr and his staff made the experience much easier to deal with. Id recommend. Thank u
