Dr. Margaret Ravitsis a caring, experienced, board-certified dermatologist who treats patients of all ages. She has received many awards for her expertise as a dermatologist. Dr. Ravits has been quoted as a dermatology expert in the media and peer-reviewed publications.
Along with her private practice, Dr. Ravits is a Senior Attending at Hackensack University Medical Center where she previously served as the Chief of the Division of Dermatology for twenty-two years. She is a Clinical Associate Professor of Dermatology at NY-Presbyterian Hospital where she devotes her time each week to supervising the dermatology residents who treat patients in the clinic. She was honored to be voted Teacher of the Year five times by the dermatology residents including this year (2020).
Dr. Ravits graduated from Goucher College in Towson, Maryland where she was elected to the National Chemistry Honor Society (John Hopkins Chapter). Dr. Ravits obtained her medical degree from the University of Miami School of Medicine. She completed her dermatology residency at the U.S. Public Health Service Hospital in Staten Island, New York, where she would later serve as the Associate Chief of Dermatology. In addition, Dr. Ravits completed a fellowship in dermatology at NY-Presbyterian Hospital in New York.
Dr. Ruhl graduated magna cum laude with high honors in biochemistry from Dartmouth College. She received an M.D. degree from Jefferson Medical College and a Ph.D. in biochemistry from Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia. Dr. Ruhl completed her internship in internal medicine at Yale University and residency training in dermatology at New York Hospital-Cornell University Medical College. She served as chief resident during her final year of training.
Dr. Garcia graduated Summa Cum Laude from Douglass College and received her medical degree from Columbia College of Physicians and Surgeons in New York. She is an inductee of the Phi Beta Kappa National Honors Society. Dr. Garcia completed her internal medicine residency and subsequently attended the dermatology residency program at Columbia University and St. Luke's Hospital in New York, where she later became the chief resident. She is board certified in both internal medicine and dermatology.
Dr. Roselyn Stangeris a caring, board-certified dermatologist who treats patients of all ages in our River Edge office.She treats many skin conditions and has a particular interest in psoriasis and eczema.Dr. Stangergraduated from the dermatology residency program at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City where she served as the chief resident during her final year of training. She is currently a Clinical Instructor at the Mount Sinai Hospital. She completed her internship in internal medicine at Englewood Hospital. During medical school at Weill Cornell Medical College, she participated in a year-long clinical research fellowship focusing on psoriasis under the mentorship of Dr. Mark Lebwohl. Before her medical training, she studied molecular biology at Princeton University from which she graduated with high honors. Dr. Stanger is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology and the National Psoriasis Foundation. Dr. Stanger lives in Bergen County with her husband and three children.
Dr. Alice C. Cardullo is a board-certified dermatologist with many years of experience treating patients of all ages. In addition to treating patients in our office, she is also an Assistant Attending in the dermatology department at New York-Presbyterian Hospital and an Assistant Clinical Professor at Columbia University. Dr. Cardullo graduated from the Mount Sinai School of Medicine where she completed an internship and residency in pediatrics. After completing her training in pediatrics, she did a fellowship in environmental dermatology and then a residency in dermatology at the New-York Presbyterian Hospital of Columbia University. She is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and a member of the Dermatological Society of New Jersey.
Elizabeth Walsh, PA-C is a compassionate and experienced Physician Assistant who treats adult and child patients. She has extensive experience in dermatologic surgery including excision of moles, skin cancers, cysts, precancerous lesions, and tumors. Elizabeth has worked with and learned from several of the best plastic surgery teams at Morristown Memorial Hospital and strives for perfection in all of her dermatologic surgeries. She leads an annual workshop for both physician assistant students and residents demonstrating advanced suturing techniques. Elizabeth graduated from Quinnipiac University with a Masters of Health Science in Physician Assistant Studies and from Fairfield University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology, graduating with Honors. She is a warm, friendly, and caring Physician Assistant and is also a mother of three children. Elizabeth is also an avid marathon runner and has been a running coach for years. She recently completed both the NYC Marathon and the Boston Marathon.
Dr. Vitaly Terushkinis a board-certified dermatologist and dermatopathologist and a fellowship-trained Mohs surgeon. Dr. Terushkin was named a top doctor by Castle Connolly Top Doctors in 2021 and 2022. He is a Clinical Instructor in Dermatology at Weill Cornell Medical College in New York. He graduated summa cum laude from Brandeis University and subsequently attended New York University (NYU) School of Medicine. During medical school, he spent a year conducting clinical research in cutaneous oncology at the Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center. Upon graduation, he was inducted into the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha honor society and received the Marion B. Sulzberger Award for Excellence in Dermatology. After completing an internship in internal medicine at the Mount Sinai Medical Center, he returned to NYU for his dermatology training where he served as a Chief Resident during his final year. Upon completing his residency, Dr. Terushkin sought additional specialized training and completed a fellowship in Mohs micrographic surgery and dermatologic oncology under the guidance of Drs. Zitelli and Brodland in Pittsburgh, PA. Afterwards, he completed a fellowship in dermatopathology at NYU, making him one of a few dermatologists in the country to be fellowship-trained in both Mohs surgery and dermatopathology. Dr. Terushkin has authored multiple articles on cutaneous oncology and laser surgery. He is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, the American Society of Dermatologic Surgery, the American College of Mohs Surgery, and the American Society of Dermatopathology. He is fluent in Russian and conversational in Spanish.
Dr. Adam Nabatian is trained in dermatologic surgery and specializes in Mohs micrographic surgery for skin cancer and facial reconstruction. After attending the Rutgers-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School and completing his dermatology residency at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York, Dr. Nabatian completed a Mohs micrographic surgery and procedural dermatology fellowship at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York City.Dr. Nabatian is currently a Clinical Instructor at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai and Montefiore Medical Center where he teaches residents dermatologic surgery. Dr. Nabatian is a well-respected dermatologist whose dermatology research has been published in multiple peer-reviewed academic journals. Dr. Nabatian has also contributed chapters on dermatology and cosmetic dermatology to medical books.
