Dr. Gomez-Bartek is committed to providing high quality, comprehensive and compassionate dental care to the community of Santa Fe. Dr. Gomez-Bartek enjoys working with and referring to specialists in Santa Fe to ensure her patients get the best care available to them.

The best compliment is when a patient tells me, 'I trust you.' When I hear this I know that these people have a good understanding of who I am. I prefer to treat patients who place their trust in me because we generally share the same goals. I am a dentist who values honesty, patience, hard work, loyalty, compassion, and kindness.

I enjoy being with my family and close friends, spending time outdoors, especially basking in the sun or being physically active. I enjoy walking, running, biking, skiing, tennis, watching (and sometimes sleeping during) Notre Dame college football games with my husband, and vacationing.

Laurie Pierce graduated in 1987 from the University of New Mexico with an Associates Degree in Dental Hygiene. Her clinical experience includes 30+ years of experience in several private dental offices. Laurie has also visited elementary schools in Los Alamos and White Rock to educate students about their oral health. She currently works at Dental Del Sol for Dr. Gomez and she also works in a Periodontists office here in Santa Fe. Laurie finds it rewarding to be able to help educate patients on how to achieve their oral health and maintain it as well. I have always felt that if I sincerely care about my patients oral health/well being, it will encourage them to do the same.

One of the biggest challenges Ive seen over the years are patients that are fearful to go to the dentist. They usually have had bad experiences and it only takes one bad experience to cause apprehension/anxiety. So I find it challenging to be able to put them at ease, encouraging them to want to come back and take care of their oral health.

I am a Santa Fe native & graduated from Santa Fe High in 2007. I have been a dental assistant since 2010. I am a compassionate & dedicated dental assistant who strives to make every patient feel ascomfortable as possible. When Im not in the office I like to hang out with my family, go snowboarding and play volleyball & softball.

The best compliment that Ive received as a dental assistant is when patients tell me how nice it is to be taken care of by such a caring, friendly assistant and that I make them feel more comfortable being in the dental chair.

I feel that the biggest challenge that people face when seeking dental treatment is getting into the dental chair and being comfortable whether it be for a simple cleaning or having treatment done. Ive noticed that when a patient realizes that they are receiving good care they start to lose that fear and begin to gain and build trust.
