I had a great experience in my first visit a few months. Liz the hygienist was great she was very thoroughly. I don't drink coffee or smoke but I had those dark stain around my gums after the gum surgery with other dentist a few years back. I thought that was normal due to the surgery until Liz was able to remove those stains on the spot. I also had on bottom teeth retain broke off for years. Doctor Jacob examined and told me that the teeth are intact without the retainer and he sincerely offered to clean up the cement for the bottom retainer without additional charge where the other office would charge a substantial amount. I am graceful for the hospitality and the sincere services provided by Doctor Jacob, Liz, and his staff. I recommend everyone to try out Doctor Jacob and you would not regret. I only write reviews for excellence services. Thanks Doctor Jacob!!!!!

Agree with this place being a hidden gem!! I've thought about seeing Dr. Skinner for a while now and finally my ins was in his network. After going to Nine Eagles dentistry, they quoted me $3000 worth of work for fillings & sealing. I went to Dr. Skinner for a second opinion and he was so quick quick but efficient and settled my nerves that my teeth looked great, with needing little improvement as precaution. The girl who did my cleaning was so sweet & nice. This place has an old school vibe, reminds me of the dentist I went to when I was a kid. I felt like I was in great hands and not pushy just for money. Then to top it off, I got a letter in the mail. I thought forsure it was going to be a bill... but to my surprise it was a hand written letter from Dr. Skinner. Such an amazing tough for his patients to show he really cares!

I went a few months ago and they are a wonderful dentist office. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Liz did a checkup and regular cleaning for me, very informative and gave me advice for a few things (mostly wisdom teeth). Dr. Skinner was very nice and let me know that I had a cavity that needed filled. On a side note I chipped a piece off of my one front tooth years ago and Dr. Skinner said he would fix it for free when I got my cavity filled! This is a great dentist office to go to for all your dentistry needs!

I love this dentist! It is a hidden treasure. When you first pull up it looks like a normal plaza- but when you walk in, each dentist chair has huge ceiling to floor windows that overlooks its own personal fountain/waterfall in this isolated garden area on the side of the building. I have never been a fan of the dentist, but if I have to go to the dentist, THIS IS THE ONE TO GO TO. Aside from the beautiful view hidden in the suburbs of Tampa, the staff is incredibly friendly as well. The lady at the front desk was very inviting, and the dentist assistant was great with my teeth. I only met with Dr. Skinner for a few minutes at the end, but he was really patient and answered all of my questions entirely. I love this dentist and am so grateful to have found it!

Great Dentist. New to the area and I'm glad/lucky I found this place. Also great dental hygienists! Nice ambiance as well - fountains out the windows make you feel like you're not at the dentists office.

Just moved to the area so needed to find a new dentist. Office staff was extremely friendly as was the doctor. I was able to get x-rays, exam, and cleaning in under 30 minutes. I've been to numerous different dentists over the years and have never had as easy and positive experience than I have at Dr. Skinner's office.

I had a great experience with Dr. Skinner, and have switched to him as my primary dentist! I had been experiencing severe tooth pain and called in on a whim, and I am very glad that I did. From the initial telephone call, which was answered by Dr. Skinner, to the procedure , my experience was pleasant. Not to mention the beautiful ambiance of the fountains while you are in the chair. I then went back for my semi-annual cleaning and my dental hygienist was a delight. She was very personable and thorough with my cleaning. I would highly recommend this dental practice.

I met dr skinner when he himself answered my call to his office first thing in the morning after a night of wisdom tooth pain. Since then have been a patient. i can honestly say i enjoy his office, staff, Hygienist + Dr skinner himself more than any other dental office in my life. He has such a great personality and is full of energy! Thankyou for the awesome service!

Excellent all around experience. The staff is accommodating, friendly and patient. My dental hygienist is excellent! Dr Skinner is professional, kind and sincere in his truly being pro-patient.

Excellent staff from the front office to the hygienist to Dr. Skinner himself. Great atmosphere. Office was very clean and well maintained. Definitely 5 stars.

I rarely leave reviews however this office is great. Dr Skinner and the staff run a tight ship. They are unfailingly professional, courteous, and punctual. Dr Skinner and his staff focus on what is important for the health of your teeth and don't try to sell you unnecessary extras. Highly recommend.

As a former dental hygienist I know what to look for in a dentist. I was told to have a tooth removed by one dds because "there was not enough room for a crown" and another wanted to do a root canal and crown lengthening to save it to the tune of $4600. Looking for a second opinion I sought out Dr. Skinner. "While that would work and make my job easier you have no decay and a lot of healthy tooth structure, I prefer to start more conservatively." Well, that sounded like a splendid idea to me. I liked the Dr., his staff and office. Well run, clean and friendly. I now have a beautiful, perfectly fitting crown. Thank you Dr. Skinner. Two weeks later I had a different, older crown come off. They worked me in on a late Friday afternoon and promptly recemented. I am sold. And now a regular patient!
