Ca, Dr. Young moved to the Kansas City area in 1995 and began his undergraduate studies at UMKC, obtaining his Bachelor's Degree in Psychology. He then continued his education a the UMKC School of Dentistry and entered into private practice in 2004. Dr. Young places high value on deep community connections and is active in serving the Kansas City community through outstanding dental care as well as volunteering time and services to local residents. He has acted as co-chairman for the annual Walk for Health Foundation, raising much needed funds for the Cass County Dental Clinic. Some of the other organizations that he has worked with include:

In his free time, Dr. Young enjoys staying active with camping and sport activities. He loves to root for the Kansas City Chiefs, Royals and Sporting KC soccer! Dr. Young also enjoys coaching and being involved with his kid's sports and activities. Dr. Young and his wife, Julie have 3 children - Dalton, Madalyn and Colton.
Julie brings 20 years of experience in dentistry.Through the years Julie had the opportunity to work in almost every capacity in the office. With her history and experience in clinical and practice management. Juliekeeps the day to day office operations organized and running smoothly, and always has an open door for the staff to come to.Learning the business ofdentistry has been enjoyable for Julie
Aside from workingJulie enjoys many hobbies outside of work. Her favorite activities are spending time with family and friends, camping, boating, cheering on the Royals, cooking and entertaining. Julieis the mother of three fabulous kids, Dalton, Madalyn and Colton. She has been married to her best friend for 16 years.
Emily has been working with Dr. Young since May 2017. She graduated as a registered dental hygienist from OTC in Springfield, MO in 2014. Upon graduation, she was awarded the Missouri Dental Hygiene Association's Outstanding Student award. She has traveled to Nicaragua on dental mission trips and loves using her clinical skills to give back to those who need care. She likes to provide her patients with a calming, comfortable atmosphere!
Emily and her husband, Alex, live in Raymore, MO. They have one dog, a beagle basset hound, named Lucy. Some of Emily's favorite things are traveling, reading, seeing movies at the theater, and enjoying the company of her family and friends!
Stephanie joined Dr Young's team in 2018. She graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Dental Hygiene from UMKC School of Dentistry in 2006. Stephanie loves being a Dental Hygienist and receives great joy by helping others. She loves interacting with patients and partnering with them to create healthy smiles.

I am a very anxious patient who has not had good experience at dental offices . The staff here is very friendly and helpful . Dr Young is very kind , took care of my problem and answered every question and concern i had. Thank you dr. Young!!!

So relaxed, I fell asleep during my cleaning. Like most, I am not a fan of going to the dentist. Before I found Dr Young, I suffered through routine dentist appointments. Now I drive 2.5 hrs each way to bring myself and my family to see him. I would travel further if needed. Super clean office, fantastic staff (every single person), up-to-date tech/tools/procedures/materials, etc. Not only are they excellent with adults, but you really see them shine when the kids climb into the chair. They are gentle, compassionate, and patient. I have nothing but great things to say about Dr Young. When I have seen him out in the community, he has always acknowledged and said hello to me--super nice gentleman. See them soon; your mouth will thank you!!!

I absolutely love this dentist. I have always dreaded going to the dentist until I found this practice. I have been going here for the past couple of years. Prior to that, it had been 10+ years since I had been to the dentist. I'm glad I found Young Dentistry! Everyone is always so friendly and kind. On my visit today, I had to bring my two young kids with me. Everyone was accepting of me bringing them along, especially Courtney at the front desk. She was absolutely great with my kiddos and very accommodating. I did not have to feel guilty for bringing them along. I really appreciate all of the staff working for Young Dentistry!

I had to have a crown because of too many fillings on one molar. Although long, the crown was installed in one appointment with no temporary crown, which would have necessitated another visit. The crown preparation was nearly painless. The only thing felt was a slight pressure from the needle, but enough topical anesthetic was applied that the shot didn't hurt. I highly recommend Dr. Young for any dental procedure needing done or just the semi-annual checkups.

10million star rating I had prolonged getting my teeth addressed and ended up coming in on an emergency visit. Dr. Young and Megan were EXCELLENT! My procedure was painless and Megan did a wonderful job explaining everything in detail. The front staff was very friendly and kind. Great experience and would recommend!

I was very impressed with Dr. Young's work. After going to his office, I feel like every other dentist I ever went to was apparently just aggressive. This is my second time having to get a root canal and crown. The first one was a different dentist. I have no pain compared to my last experience. He even managed to make the numbing shot less painful. All the staff was very friendly and informative. I'll never go anywhere else. Highly recommend.

I had a root canal and a crown done. It was comfortable and professional. It was pain free during the procedure, and I only had a little soreness in the following week. Looking forward to using them for any future dental care.
