Appearances can be deceiving. I went to Dr. McDonald for a year and a half while living in Houston. The visits were always pleasant and quick. He told me I had no cavities. I moved to Tennessee, and I went to see him one last time, one week before the move, in early Sept. Now it is mid November, and while eating dinner, a piece out of my back molar fell out. I just visited a new dentist here in TN, and they told me my back tooth was decaying so badly, that I will need a crown, plus I have two smaller cavities elsewhere. What was the the point of going to Dr. Mcdonald if he couldn't be thorough and actually check my teeth!!!!

This is a very nice dentist and his family that work there. Very, very good care very modern equipment and very ,very clean.

My husband and I started going to Dr. McDonald almost 30 years ago when we lived in Bellaire. As we moved around the city and the state, we tried other dentists but we have always returned to Dr. McDonald because he is very knowledgeable and incredibly reasonable. Rather than recommending something radical, he prefers a cautious approach. But he still moves quickly when the situation warrants it. Plus, he can usually work patients into his schedule within a few days rather than a few weeks. In other words, he's a good guy and a good doctor. I've already told him that he can't retire until I die because I don't think I could start over with someone else.
