Dr. Robinette has been practicing in the Unifour area for over 30 years. He has established himself as both an excellent Cosmetic Dentist and a Caring Practitioner from whom patients can receive emergency care, whether they are patients of record or not.
Dr. Robinette received his B.A. degree in Zoology and Chemistry from West Virginia University in 1970. He then went on to graduate from West Virginia University School of Dentistry in 1974 where he graduated in the top 10% of his class.
While attending W.V.U., he received two NIH (National Institute of Health) Grants in 1972 and 1973 to do research with Dental Implants, where he both designed and fabricated the implants, which were used in his research.
Upon graduation, Dr. Robinette served as a Navy Dentist stationed at the Marine Corp Air Station at Cherry Point, North Carolina. He received commendation from both the NCOs and the Officers of 3rd LAAM Battalion U.S.M.C. with which he served.
Dr. Robinette is a member of the Western Piedmont Dental Society, North Carolina Dental Society, American Dental Association, the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, and the American Academy of General Dentistry. He is also a Fellow in the International Congress of Oral Implantologists.

This man and office deserves well over five stars short story I have a phobia of dentist let's just say I could buy a Maserati with my mouth that's how much work I need done. However, one day my face became so swollen that I felt I had no other choice but to go to the one place I have avoided for oh so many years. Just right off the bat The receptionist was extremely sweet and even got me in on the same day! when my face was so swollen and I was in so much pain I couldn't sleep for days! I look like the elephant woman lol. With every hesitation I still went and I explained to them my phobia and my past experience and they did everything in their power to make me feel as comfortable as I could. Everyone and I do mean everyone in that office is so incredibly sweet. I have never felt so welcome and so comfortable in a place that I have dreaded to go for many years. When I met Doc I was astounded at how phenomenal he was.. funny, witty and absolutely A storyteller which put my mind at ease from the pain. I wish this man was around when I was a kid I would've definitely been not so scared for all my years. This is the hands-down best dentist and staff I have ever encountered. No one berated me for neglect or put me down or shame me in any way. They simply wanted to help me from being in pain . As I said WELL over five stars

I want to start by saying that I don't think I've ever left a negative review for anyone in my life. However, I feel compelled to make sure I help offer a balanced view of this provider so hopefully what happened to me doesn't happen to anyone else...at least without them being informed first. I also want to say that I, and several of my family members, all came here for a long time until about four years ago. About four years ago, I came to Robinette to get a tooth filled. I was very happy that I was able to save the tooth instead of needing a crown. A few months later, the tooth beside it started to hurt really bad, he x-rayed it and said it needed a root canal. I got my root canal, paid my money and they filed the rest with my insurance. A few hours later, the numbing wore off and the pain came back...he root canaled the wrong tooth! I went back the same day. He tried to smooth the whole situation over, claiming it's hard to know for sure which tooth it is sometimes and then argued that he did a bite test on the tooth he canaled and he absolutely DID NOT! But I was in pain and really do understand that everyone, even dentists, make mistakes so I let it go and he did the root canal on the correct tooth. Then he charged me for that as well and charged my insurance for the rest. This maxed out my coverage for the year and so it kicked back $552 not paid. So he sent me a bill. Then he sent me to collections. Then he ruined my almost perfect credit because I will NEVER pay this bill just on principle. Because he killed the tooth that I had just paid him a couple months before to save, I've since had to go through the pain of having to crown that tooth as well which cost me over $1000 more! I am so unbelievably disappointed in how Robinette handled this. I don't know if it was the pride or the money that made him handle it this way but I feel it was very unethical and, honestly, quite hurtful as I and the other members of my family who used to go to him really thought a lot of him.

Great dentist! I needed an emergency extraction on a Saturday and they fit me right in and I had it pulled within a couple hours. I hadn't been to a dentist in a few years due to a bad experience but this office changed my mind. Thankful for a pain free extraction and a very friendly staff!!

Love Dr. Robinette and staff. He is hands down the best dentist around. Incredibly skilled and creates a pain free experience. HIs staff is awesome, too. So helpful and fun! I love my dentist...now how many people can say that?

Everyone in this practice are so nice, Meredith was awesome, my teeth feel amazing and Dr. Robinette was so nice and spend time explaining everything to me The office girls are always so cheerful, you leave there in a good mood no matter what .
