I love my profession. By interacting with so many different andinteresting people on a daily basis, I become a more patientand appreciativelistener. During our conversations, each of my patients teaches me something new, so Im constantly learning more about the world and myself.
Spending my days helping people is immensely rewarding. Im most excited about helping my patients take care of their smiles, and teaching them how oral hygiene is an important part of their overall health. Im passionate about using state-of-the-art technology and treatments that allow me to take a less invasive approach to procedures. This means each patients experience is more positive and the results are stronger.
I chose to become a dentist because its the perfect combination of health care, technology, and art. By combining those elements, Im able to make positive changes in the lives of people whove become my friends.
I like to stay current with the latest technologies and newest treatments so I can provide the best care to my patients. They deserve the best and thats my goal. I attend continuing education courses throughout the year, including classes and seminars at New York University, Lutheran Medical Center, and the Henry Schein Dental Specialty Group. I also take many online classes and keep up with research findings published in dental journals.
After growing up and working as a dentist in Ukraine, I have called Brooklyn my home since 1996. Spending time with my wifeAlexandra and daughterNicoleis my priority when Im not caring for my patients. Nicole is currently in a pre-professional dance program and Alexandra and I enjoy attending her performances.

Just had a pain free root canal, great dentist and perfect staff. The dentist, dental assistant and receptionist made me feel welcomed and explained every step to me. Great bedside manner, everyone was patient and understanding. Definitely going to recommend to my friends and family.

Pacific Dental Care is the best. Dr. Chaplik is very thorough, courteous, pleasant and always makes you feel relaxed and comfortable. Everybody there is nice and professional.

Dr. Chaplik is absolutely wonderful! I have been a patient of his for years and have only had positive experiences. He is a very warm, caring, and competent person, who puts you at ease and explains everything he plans to do before he does it. A first-rate dentist!

This is the worst dentist experience I've ever had. He was rude to my son about his oral hygiene, he was impatient when my son had mouth pain and he gave him two painful shots to help with a nasty demeanor telling him it shouldn't hurt. Not to mention his smock was filthy. I wouldn't recommend stepping foot into this place.

My visit at Pacific dental care office was really great! Dr. Chaplik is very gentle and processional, took time to explain my oral health to me. And I was able to ask questions comfortably. The office is clean, staff is nice and almost no waiting time. I will definitely be back and Im so glad i found my new dentist in the city!
