Great Dentist...With an amazing staff.

The office is closed in the middle of the day for 2 hours for lunch. They do not pick up the phone and they will not see you during that time. My son had a problem from his morning appointment, they refused to see him until late in the afternoon, at a time that was impossible for him. We waited outside for almost 2 hours and watched the staff eat, talk, brush their teeth, watch television; but they would not take 5 minutes to correct a mistake that they made earlier in the day.

Dr . Shamus' patience and kindness is only superseded by his expertise. His staff is professional and accommodating . There is one particular assistant who my seven year old daughter loves, her name is Krystal and she is excellent with children.

As a referring dentist, I only want the best for my patients. Therefore I know when I send my patients to Dr. Shamus, I am getting a caring, gentle and extremely knowledgeable orthodontist. My patients always thank me and say,"Thanks for sending me to Dr Shamus, he's the greatest orthodontist!" I really do trust him and even sent my own kid there for treatment. I may be a little biased but, she looks great, thanks to Dr. Ilan Shamus! I highly recommend him for any and all orthodontic needs.

Kindness and accommodating are the best words to describe this office and Dr M in particular. My LA daughter's braces broke while visiting Westchester. They fit her in, consulted with our LA ortho, spent an hour and did it gratis. Highly recommend. So very grateful!
