Dr. Hurtado has provided over thirty years of experience to his patients. His warm chair-side manner has helped in keeping thousands of patients coming back for his advice and expertise to reach their ultimate smile goals.
He obtained his Bachelors in Health Sciences at the Autonomous University of the State of Mexico (UAEM) and he obtained his degree in Dentistry at the Autonomous University of Guadalajara (UAG). Dr. Hurtado moved to the States to pursue an education in Oral Biology at the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA) and received a diploma of completion.
His father was a Pharmaceutical Representative and his mother was dedicated in the raising of a very close nit family. At an early age he moved to the States to pursue an education in Oral Biology and started his career as a dental professional. Dr. Hurtado has been married for over twenty five years to his wife Blanca and together they have raised three beautiful children who are now all attending university. His eldest, Alexander is pursuing a career in Medicine, his middle is pursuing a career in Business and his youngest Andrea is pursuing a career in Public Relationships with a minor in Psychology.
Dr. Yuen has been a part of practice since we first opened. He has given value to our patients with his more than thirty five years of experience by providing our patients with the smile they most desire.
Dr. Yuen obtained his Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) from the National Taiwan University and attended Graduate School at the University of California of Los Angeles (UCLA) in Oral Biology and obtained his certification in Orthodontics.
Dr. Yuens expertise makes him a tremendous asset to our practice. During his free time Dr. Yuen spends time with his family; wife, daughters and grandchildren. Dr Yuen enjoys traveling to new places and spending time with his church family. He has recently obtained his Fuller Theological Seminary Master of Divinity degree and is a Pastor at the Mandarin Baptist Church of San Fernando Valley.
Mayra joined our practice eight years ago and early on showed a great interest in all aspects dental. As a receptionist she mastered patient coordination and insurance information and went on to become our Office Coordinator, ensuring that all aspects of our practice always run smoothly and efficiently. From financial coordination to insurance complex rules, she is able to answer and solve all upcoming issues a patient might encounter.
Her kind and empathetic attitude towards others makes our patients feel like they are another member of her family, making patients feel like they are in the right hands when it comes to their health and financial responsibilities.
Alma has shared her expertise of more than thirty years since our practice opened. She is an expert on coordinating benefits to maximize insurance, creating a good standing financial plan that will allow our patients to feel good about paying off their treatment and explaining complex procedures and its various steps to make sure our patients leave our office with clarity.
Almas sense of humor and friendliness makes her a dear team member in our practice. During her free time, Alma enjoys going on hikes and spending time outside, cooking, working on her house and spending time with her family.
Julios friendly, professional customer service attitude allows our patients to feel comfortable with him to ask any questions without hesitation, making in a very important part of our front office and the experience we want our patients to have when they first walk in to our practice.
Araceli Cheli joined our practice seven years ago and has been a staple part of our practice. She is an expert on all things assisting, from taking dental X-rays to assisting the doctor on complex procedures. Her work always shines whether our patients are coming for a routine visit or a dental emergency. She makes sure that she is always coordinating procedures with our professionals making sure all our patients leave free of discomfort and with the smile they most desire.
Lindel joined our practice four years ago and has become a great part of our practice. With her help, our providers are able to provide the best care for our patients during simple or complex procedures. She loves learning about our patients and making sure they are always comfortable and discomfort free.
Lindel has become very experienced on all aspects of dental assisting from taking great dental X-rays and assisting on more difficult cases. Her friendly demeanor and good sense of humor make our patients feel comfortable at all times.
