Dr. Madison completed his undergraduate studies at Xavier University of Louisiana located in New Orleans. There he earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemistry. Once he completed that task he moved on and became a student at Meharry Medical College, School of Dentistry, located in Nashville, Tennessee. Here he studied diligently and earned a Doctoral of Dental Science Degree. Upon completion of Dental training additional post-graduate studies were completed at the University of California, San Francisco School of Dentistry. These post-graduate studies were in an Advanced Education in General Dentistry Program. Dr. Madison was a resident in the AEGD Program at UCSF for over 2 1/2 years.
Immediately following his post-graduate training he acquired the practice of Dr. Harrison Parker in San Francisco's Bayview District, which he currently owns and operates to date. Dr. Madison has been in private practice in that facility since September 1, 1998.
With his extensive education combined with years of successful experience practicing his skill, there is no question in regards to his ability to deliver outstanding care and service to all his patients.

Dr. Madison is an excellent DDS. Everyone of my family members has gone to see Dr. Madison for years. I would recommend anyone who's looking for an excellent dentist to look him up.

My family and I (2 kids (10/12 yrs old) and husband) have been going to Dr. Madison since my kids were born! I've been going since I was 18 years old! so well over 20 years!! My parents have also been going to him as well, so he is truly a family dentist for sure. I followed his practice from SF to Oakland. The care he provides for my family, and I is unmatched with any other Dental practice. He is very knowledgeable when it comes to the health of your teeth. He is fun for the kids which they have no issues with going in, they actually ask about him when we don't go! Whenever they go they each get toys and new toothbrushes, etc. He takes care of his clients. So definitely great for the whole fam! His office (great location) is the cleanest and nicest office ever! The decor is amazing, and the environment is truly welcoming. Setting up appointments is easy, he is always on time and available to chat when you have questions, you don't have to wait to get in and when you're in the chair your taken care of. Highly recommended!

Dr. Madison provided an excellent experience and was very knowledgeable about dentistry. He takes his time and is extremely thoughtful about how he treated me (I have some dental issues so it was really helpful). More importantly, he was so funny! Although it was hard to talk while having my teeth cleaned, I felt like I would want to talk to him all day. I would recommend him to kind people only - he deserves to be treated with the same kindness he hands out!

Literally the BEST dentist I have ever experienced. Meharry Dental School & UCSF Dental School trained, and a former UCSF professor, so he is literally top notch. Dr. Huey is so passionate about improving oral health outcomes for all communities...I have honestly never met a dentist as passionate about oral health as him. Dr. Huey's dental office feels like a spa, so I was totally relaxed. The check-in process was seamless & Dr. Huey is super personable & professional. He gave my teeth the best cleaning ever! I was going to get a whitening treatment as well, but he was honest & told me my teeth really didn't need it, & he didn't want to waste my money for no reason. I was so touched by his honesty.

Dr. Madison is simply awesome!! What I appreciated the most was his skill and precision during surgery. I had two molars removed with long roots, which I had expected to be quite painful. Not at Dr. Madison's office! He explained the procedure thoroughly prior to doing anything, so that I knew exactly what was going on each step of the way. Most importantly, his skillful hands produced wonderful results, and I was able to resume normal activities that same day!

He is the best dentist that I ever had. I am very terrified of the dentist due to childhood trauma. However, Dr. Madison is amazing! He was thorough and gentle. He has a great sense of humor, which put me at ease. I did not experience any pain while sitting in his chair. At the end of my appointment he spoke with me about how to properly take care of my teeth and provided me with a dental care package. I am certainly going back, as he is very knowledgeable about his field, and is just an over all great dentist. If you are looking for a dentist, and may have a fear or phobia of dentists, I definitely urge you to choose Dr. Madison. Hands down he is the best!

I have a severe fear of dentist visits. That being said, Dr. Madison was compassionate and professional. He informed me of what to expect prior to performing any treatments or procedures. He was extremely knowledgeable and provided me with very practical insights on how to improve my dental health. With Dr. Madison, I have found my new dentist and would recommend him to anyone who is looking for individualized care, compassionate, professional care.

Dr. Madison is an outstanding dentist. He is very hands on, takes adequate time for careful examination, does all the dental cleaning himself, and is vigilant about gum health and signs of disease. He offers the right amount of instruction, education, and gentle scolding to motivate good flossing and brushing habits. His technology is excellent as well: This is a 21st century practice. I particularly like the ultrasonic tartar removal tool he uses--much easier on my gums than mechanical scraping. He knows his stuff and is getting things done for us. Finally, he is funny and personable. Highly recommended for the whole family.

I always have a Great/Awesome experience each time I visit Dr. Madison. He is very knowledgeable, Professional and he genuinely cares about his clients. He also does everything in his power to make your visit as comfortable and pain free as possible. My visit with Dr. Madison was the best dental experience I have ever had! This was my first visit with Dr. Madison, and I am looking forward to my next appointment. He is very knowledgeable, and was willing to teach and explain to me the inner workings of my mouth. I found it very interesting! For those who may dread going to the dentist, Dr. Madison has set a relaxing atmosphere. He has jazz music playing in the background and uses it to drown out the sounds of his dental tools working on your teeth. As I mentioned, this was hands down the best dental experience I have ever had, and I am really glad I was able to find Dr. Madison after moving to Oakland.

Dr. Madison is one of the best dentist that I have had in my years of trying to keep good dental habits. Some times I can be a difficult patient because of my uneasiness with all and any medical practitioners. However, even with my fears, Dr. Madison has the patience to calm me and he has done the impossible...having me to want to keep my appointments. Thanks Dr. Madison.
