Dr. Zimnes has been practicing dentistry for more than 20 years. She graduated from the College of New Jersey in 1990 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology and a Minor in Psychology. She then went on to become a licensed hygienist with highest honors. She was honored with the Frank M. Chambers Award for academic achievement.
After graduating from hygiene school, Dr. Zimnes immediately went into dental school. She graduated with honors as a Doctor of Dental Medicine from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey in 1997. She was a member of the Gamma Pi Delta Prosthodontic Honor Society, and received the Certificate of Merit for Achievement in Oral Medicine awarded by the American Academy of Oral Medicine.
Dr. Zimnes is a member of the American Dental Association, the New Jersey Dental Association, and the MOACDS, and has furthered her professional knowledge locally and nationally through various continuing education programs.
Dr. Zimnes finds her profession rewarding and feels particular pride in knowing she is making a difference in her patients lives by guiding them to good oral health and overall wellness. She also feels it very gratifying to be a part of her patients individual journeys toward optimum dental health.

I was looking for an emergency issue that was causing me pain right before thanksgiving. Luckily thanks to a cancelation Zimnes was able to take me. Came to find out it was my wisdom teeth and not the tooth I thought. She was clearly able to show me with her xray cam what my problem was. She could not do the removal since its wisdom teeth but she was able to give me a temporary fix that stopped pain and allows me to chew with no issues. PERFECT to get through thanksgiving. Glad I found this office, look forward to her being my personal dentist moving forward and have a cleaning scheduled! Great staff and wonderful services with care!

I am writing this review after my wife and I having been a patient of Dr. Zimnes since March 2018. This review is given after multiple exposures to her practice and her expertise. A few years after we had moved into the area, my wife and I decided to consider to stop traveling 60 miles each way to our former dentist in North Jersey. Although delighted with his care for over 15 years, the trip was getting too inconvenient. We agreed that the decision to leave his practice would have only occurred if we had found a suitable replacement for him. He was an internationally-known dentist/oral surgeon who performed specialty dental work in addition to the routine dental work of a family practice. People travelled from Europe to be treated by him and he was a guest speaker at several oral surgery seminars. My wife and I were recommended to Dr. Zimnes by a long-term and trusted couple who were friends of ours for over 30 years. Dr. Zimnes' offices are clean and appropriate. Her staff is very friendly and accommodating. Her equipment is state-of-the-art. Over the years since 2018, Dr. Zimnes has performed teeth cleaning, an extraction, a filling and rebuilding a chipped tooth with a crown. For the most part, we simply go to her for exams and cleaning because she is keeping our dental issues to a minimum and keeping our teeth and gums healthy. We find Dr. Zimnes to be confident, laid-back, professional, gregarious and welcoming. It is obvious that our dental care is her primary focus. We highly-recommend Dr. Zimnes. I have to bring my 5 mth old with me while having a cleaning done and a filling. Dr Zimnes and her staff were so accommodating to myself and my baby. Absolutely love this office!!

Do NOT trust this monster! She destroyed my teeth and gums intentionally bc I called them out on insurance scams. She drilled a heart in my tooth, drilled my gums away, drilled the enamel off my teeth, she filled 6 teeth that did not have cavities and filled them incorrectly so that they now have cavities that can't be seen on X-ray. Do NOT trust her with your teeth or health. She will destroy your teeth without thinking twice. She thinks she is untouchable, and she has absolutely no moral compass. She literally removed my gums and dug gouges in my teeth laughing and smiling with the dental assistant. She has no care about losing her license. I've talked to multiple people who she did things to. Neglecting to put posts In Peoples teeth so the tooth falls out. Filling teeth incorrectly so you need a rootcanal. Be careful there are so many criminal dentists, and she is The Head DEMON!!!! Be smart stay far away from Dr. Demon Zimnes.

Dr. Z and her staff are AMAZING! I got an appointment right away to take care of an issue I was having and couldn't be happier! She was very receptive to my concerns and talked me through everything which really helped! If you're looking for a top dentist in Monmouth county.......HERE YOU GO!!!

STAY AWAY>>> I went here for the usual exam. They said I needed a fill in. I got the fill-in and I knew something wasn't right because my tooth became extra sensitive. I went back and they supposely fixed it. I just went to another dentist and the x-ray showed that Zimnes, Helene did the fill-in incorrectly. Now, I may need to get a root canal. At this office they also said I had all these cavities, I went to a new dentist, they said I didn't have any. Zimnes, Helene office will tell you that you need all this work done to get a buck and hurt you in the process. Also, when I went they would take the payment not knowing how much the insurance was going to pay causing all types of mix up.

I went to Dr. Zimnes office for a routine cleaning and a tmj evaluation. Her office was very clean and nicely decorated. I really liked the hygienist that cleaned my teeth. She was very thorough. I was able to see my x-rays on a monitor right in front of where I was sitting. Very cool. Dr. Zimnes did a very thorough exam of my teeth as well as a tmj evaluation. I was told I did not have tmj but instead a sinus infection was irritating nerves and teeth. Her evaluation was dead on. I highly recommend her. Very nice and knowledgeable.
