In 1993, Dr. Briceno graduated from the Universidad Central de Venezuela. He went on to complete his oral surgery residency at the Puerto Rico Medical Center in San Juan, Puerto Rico in 1999. Since obtaining his Florida dental license in 2001, Dr. Briceno has practiced oral surgery and implant dentistry in Orlando, Florida.
Dr. Briceno is a member of several well-respected dental associations, including the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, the Florida Oral and Maxillofacial Association, the International Congress of Oral Implantologists, and the Panamerican Dental Society. An active member of the community, Dr. Briceno is a member of the Better Business Bureau and the West Orange Chamber of Commerce.

When I first called the practice, I asked if the practice was in network with my insurance company. I gave them my information at the time I made the appointment. They told me that they were in network. The day of the procedure, I made the payment for my portion of the extraction for about $115. It was based on the in network copays which wer $50 for each of the teeth being extracted and $15 for the exam. Almost a week after the procedure I got a call that there was a problem with my claim. they told me that I was going to have to pay an addition $320 I was told that the insurance company was only paying $99. I asked them if they were in network as they originally stated. They stated that they were. When I called my insurance company, they stated that they were out of network. I put the office on the phone with my insurance company, they stated that they were out of network. Now the office is claiming that they were told by the insurance company that when they called to request confirmation, that they are had been told that they were in network at the time. They told me now that "this was not their problem." They are blaming my insurance company for the error. I am in the process of filing a complaint with the Florida Department of Financial Services and taking further legal action.

I've been having trouble locating a dental office for wisdom teeth extractions and was referred to this office. The office staff that answered the phone was really rude, nasty and couldn't even answer my questions. Then to add fuel to fire the young lady told me " you know what find another office ". I've heard nothing but positive feedback about Dr. Briceno but the office staff really surprised me with the level of nastiness over the phone.

I don't believe I have ever had the care or concern for my health provided at the level Dr. Hector exerted, from any Healthcare worker EVER. Amazing service, and I felt comfortable during my time of dental-crisis. Highly recommend to any one who is in need of an Oral surgeon in Orlando. Amazing.

Just had my wisdom tooth extracted. Dr Briceno is the best of the best. He is attentive, knowledgeable, patient, and takes the time to actually talk to you. He said it would be pain free and it was. If you ever need a dentist., I highly recommend him. The only way you can go wrong is to go somewhere else.

How often can someone say (about a doctors visit or surgery/post care) that it was truly a great experience?? It was for us with Dr. Briceno. I am so glad I found him for our sons procedure. He has the best bedside manner. He has personality. He has skill. He has knowledge. He has experience. He has smart, kind and savvy women backing him up in a clean, comfortable office. From making the appointment to getting biopsy results it was the smoothest procedure I have ever dealt with in 40+ years. I would recommend Doctor Briceno and his staff to everyone, they are superior in every way to offices offering similar services.

My 6 year old had a tooth abscess and was in severe pain. He also has sensory sensitivity and does not do well with dental visits. A typical visit can take hours because he won't open his mouth. But today, he went through the procedure with Dr. Briceno with no fuss. I was surprised and relieved that it was so fast. 2 hours after and my child, is back to his normal self - playing and happy. Words can't describe how much we appreciate Dr. Briceno and the ladies in his clinic. I would definitely use him if we ever need oral surgery again (but hopefully we won't ever need to see him again ).

Dr. Briceno extracted my wisdom teeth recently, and I cannot stress how wonderful he was. I loved how he calmly explained what was going on throughout the procedure. He was so kind and informative. Easy 5 stars... I highly recommend him for your oral surgery needs!!

Just have to give a BIG THANK YOU to Dr Hector L Briceno . I was having pain yesterday so I called the Doctor's office & spoke with Liz . I gave her my insurance information the following day I walk in and I was all set . I'm pushing 60 yrs and this is to ALL my VETERAN Brother's if you need an Oral Doctor call today God bless
