Being an orthodontist has allowed me to befriend and get to know incredible people of all ages, from diverse backgrounds, each with their own interests and experiences to share. Every person offers me, my practice, and our community their own unique qualities, and I treasure their wonderful contributions.
We use the latest technological advanced systems that allow for fewervisits and shorter treatment durations. Throughout your orthodontic care, we keep you comfortable with light, long-acting archwires that align teeth gently and efficiently. In addition, for those cases treated with aligner therapy, we work to plan and detail predictable outcomes within reasonable time frames. Working with both children and adults, we take great pride in our treatment outcomes and enjoy the relationships we develop along the way.
We celebrate life and smiles, and believe that work does not have to feel like work. We take our profession and the care we offer very seriously, and we holdourselves to the highest standards of clinical care and customer service.
While we do this, we dont take ourselves too seriously. We embrace the holidays, the Bills, and our patients, and all they bring to our office and to our community. This is a practice filled with laughter and smiles, where our patients are part of our family and considered friends.
My commitment to my profession and my patients is to stay current with the latest technologies, methods, and modes of patient care. It is my responsibility to evaluate new options thoroughly, and determine whether to incorporate them into the practice.
I am a past President of the Personal and Professional Relations Committee of the local dental board. I continue that outreach by visiting multiple localschools each year, during which I provide practical information and raise awareness of childrens dental health.
I have also traveled to southeast Costa Rica, to helpteach and train women of the Cabcar Indian villages about hygiene and healthy living habits. Through those efforts, I have helped to build individual family gardens for better, healthier food production and taught people about diseases, clean water, and clean habits for overall health and well-being.
A native of East Aurora, I married my hometown sweetheart (and ninth-grade homecoming date) in 1991.We have four amazing children who are now pursuing their lives around the country, having studied at Syracuse University, University of Dayton, University of Kentucky, and Albany Law,as well as my alma mater, East Aurora High School, and my husband's, Saint Francis High School.
I am a mother of four and when I am not working, I share inthe care of my loving parents, who are both celebrating lives in their 90s. In my spare time, I enjoygoing to the beach with my family,camping, entertaining, bike riding, and skiing. My favorite hobby is photography and I have embraced the opportunity to be on the sidelines of many athleticfields to capture both my childrens and patientssporting events in a way that only a photographer can appreciate through a lens.

We hire only licensed dental hygienists to work with Dr. Heather in our clinic. I earned my bachelors degree in dental hygiene in 1994 and am excited to be a part of the Buccieri Orthodontics team. I work directly with patients to deliver top-quality care, and do whatever I can to see them smile! Our office is a warm, welcoming place where everyone works together for the benefit of our patients.
I live in Lancaster with my husband Ken and our three children Braden, Kalyn, and Cameron and our Wheaten Terrier, Stella. We enjoy downhill skiing as a family and vacationing at the beach with our family and friends.
I am both a certified dental assistant and registered dental hygienist, and have worked at Buccieri Orthodontics for the past 25 years. I provide one-on-one patient care to reflect Dr. Buccieris care plan. Its a joy to work with patients and see their positive outcomes. Wonderful, family-friendly orthodontist! Office staff is always welcoming & accommodating. All procedures are well explained & my child looks forward to her visits! Entire staff is amazing! Dr. Heather takes her time to explain every step and doesn't rush treatments. Highly recommend her office!

Our experience working with Dr. Buccieri has been wonderful! She's very personable, relates well to the kids and always takes the time to explain things. Dr. Buccieri was there for us in a situation that required immediate attention and follow up care. She did what was best for our son while communicating openly with my husband and I. Dr. Buccieri takes a lot of pride in her work and we couldn't be happier in choosing her as our orthodontist!

I'm so grateful to Dr. Buccieri and her amazing team for giving me the smile of my dreams. As an adult, getting braces again was a daunting process, but Dr. Heather made sure the entire treatment plan was seamless. From the initial consultation to getting the brackets put on, I knew I was in incredibly good hands with Dr. Heather and her team. Everyone was so kind and encouraging, and the care went beyond the increasing beautification of my smile: their check ins about things going on in my life made me feel seen and supported. I gladly made the over-an-hour commute to her East Aurora office for treatment! When it came time for my braces to be removed, she was able to move my appointment up a few weeks, revealing my beautiful new smile to the world early - an amazing surprise punctuated by a celebratory send off. I now have my smile back and my confidence has blossomed. I only wish I hadn't waited so long to get started! I cannot say enough how much I recommend Buccieri Orthodontics, where expert care goes beyond treatment and each visit feels like a visit with friends. Dr. Buccieri and staff treat her patients with kindness and respect. My child became a new patient during the pandemic. The precautions taken by the office made us feel very safe and secure. It is evident just how much care and concern Dr. Buccieri and the entire team have for the safety and well-being of those in her care. The attention given to the details of the treatment plan and excellent communication with the patient and parents further demonstrate her total commitment to achieving the best possible outcome for her patients- a healthy and beautiful smile.

THE BEST ORTHODONTIST! I wanted to correct my teeth for some time, however as an adult I had some apprehension (aesthetics of braces, previously damaged teeth, etc.). My consultation with Dr. Heather was fantastic! She was patient, thorough, and knowledgeable. She was so flexible and understanding with my goals and my schedule. She explained what we could accomplish, the interventions needed, and the timeline it would require. I left feeling extremely confident in my decision to get braces & the plan that she had discussed with me. I just had my braces put on today by Dr. Heather and her team. It was a wonderful experience! She and her staff are fun and professional. You can really get a sense of the rockstar team they have built and the care they give to every patient. I had braces as a child and to compare the two experiences is night and day. Dr. Heather was explaining every new step and kept me comfortable & informed throughout the whole process. She is an extremely thoughtful provider who balanced my orthodontic needs with my concerns of aesthetics. She used clear brackets for my front top teeth (which in my opinion look invisible in photographs). Also fun fact - I was telling her how painless this whole process was, and that I remembered as a child not being able to eat after I had my braces placed because they hurt so bad. Dr. Heather explained that she is very selective in her equipment/materials that she stocks her office with. She gets a particular wire that is engineered to move the teeth gently and effectively using the heat of your mouth. I am so blown away - she literally thinks of everything right down to the last bracket. I *WISH* I had her as my orthodontist when I a child. Her offices are clean & welcoming, Scheduling is easy & communication is great, and she & her team are fantastic! I am so thankful to be working with Dr. Heather towards a beautiful smile! I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Heather Buccieri Orthodontics!
