Everyone on our team is warm and approachable. We work hard to establish connections with our patients and love the bonds that develop. Since thepractice hasbeen serving the community since 1966, were now creating amazing smiles for the children and grandchildren of our first patients. We cant think of a stronger testimonial to the level of care we provide.
Some people mistakenly think that orthodontic care is only appropriate for children and teens. Nothing could be further from the truth. Many adults, and even seniors, can benefit from orthodontia, which not only creates great smiles, but improves youroral health.
With todays range of care options, its possible for someone toshift their teeth gently and attain a new smilewithout anyone else knowing theyre going through treatment. Woloshyn Orthodontics offers several invisible treatments, including clear aligners, clear brackets, and lingual braces. No one will notice youre having orthodontic work done, but they will notice youre smiling with a lot more confidence!
I have the privilege of crafting beautiful, confident smiles. I get to know my patients over the span of their treatment, often as they grow from gap-toothed elementary students into confident, mature high schoolers, and headoff to college and life. Its equally as rewarding to build relationships with my adult patients, who are finally getting the healthy, amazing smile theyve long desired.
Orthodontics is not just about crafting incredible smiles, though. Its about improving a persons oral and overall health. When I gently shift misaligned teeth into proper position, Im correcting that persons bite. This means its easier for them to reach all areas of their teeth when brushing and flossing, and that means a reduced likelihood of dental disease. It also means their jaw and facial muscles are under lowerstress, which prevents future pain and issues.
Im a committed, life-long learner. Orthodontics requires that. Its a constantly evolving field, with new treatments being developed, along with materials and technologies. Taken together, these mean the most comfortable treatment for our patients, and the strongest results. By actively seeking out continuing educationand staying abreast of current research, I ensure my patients receive excellent care and amazing, lasting smiles.
One day a week, I teach residents in the orthodontics graduate program at the University of Washington. I am also involved in four study clubs, including orthodontics, Invisalign, interdisciplinary care, and a national group of orthodontists.
My team is probably the most experienced, skilled group of people in the region. Most of them worked for Dr. Turpin, who started the practice in 1966, and have stayed with me. They love working with patients of all ages, and truly love what they do. Not only do they enjoy learning new techniques and incorporating technology to give our patients an even better experience and results, they make orthodontics fun!
I love to aid my patients in the discovery and development of the confidence that comes from a winning smile! Of all the dental specialties, Orthodontics speaks to my desire to tangibly help change the lives of young growing adolescents as well as adults by building beautiful smiles. My focus is placing teeth in the most esthetic, healthy, and beneficial position possible. I love the strategic planning for a young childs development or an adults ideal smile composition by partnering with other dentists.
My background in computer engineering (software development) adds to my passion for technology-based treatment. My thesis in residency involved analyzing the width-changes accomplished by orthodontic treatment using the Invisalign appliance. I was able to write custom software to complete the analysis and better inform the growing knowledge of this popular appliance. This background gives me a passion for cutting-edge orthodontic diagnosis and treatment.
My family has been involved in dentistry for decades. My father and brother practice dentistry in the Puyallup area and my uncle recently retired from full-time orthodontic practice. My aunt is a dental hygienist as well. Ive been blessed to attend many dental mission trips both domestically in the Southern and Central California region as well as internationally in Mexico, Guatemala, and El Salvador.
I met my wife in residency in San Francisco after she moved from her home country of France. My French is rudimentary at best but Im hoping to improve soon! We have a toddler (boy) and a Labradoodle as a pet who add a great deal of excitement to our life! We enjoy hiking, snowboarding, and taking trips to the beach to surf yes in Washington!
Im excited to work with this tremendously talented and experienced team and cant wait to meet you. I feel confident that when we partner together we can accomplish amazing things and enjoy the journey along the way!

If you want to get your teeth straight, I don't recommend you this clinic. They just lie to people and instead of treating them properly, they suggest that you remove your healthy teeth. That's insane. You CAN straightened your teeth without removing healthy ones in a lot of clinics. I'm happy I didn't go there and found a good clinic

My braces are finally off, but I am wearing a clear tray, Invisiline like to do some extra tweaking. They want everything perfect. Which I appreciate since this is my second time with braces as an adult. Everyone in the office is great, and made the experience pleasant.

Dr. Woloshyn breaks down the tailored treatment and gives helpful, actionable advice -- The consultations are very informative, the process is quick and simple, but thorough. Make sure to understand your insurance benefits going in so calculation of payment doesn't prolong starting your treatment. But if you don't know your precise coverage they incorporate estimates for you so you leave with a solid idea. Would recommend !

The entire staff from the front desk on back has treated me with great care each time I've been in. They've kept me informed each step of the way on what's happening with my teeth and what will be happening in the future. Any questions I've had have been able to be answered competently. The office is always in order, clean and bright. They gave a code and tea station in the lobby for yourself or anyone that comes in with you. Each visit im given a take home bag of any supplies I'll need until my next visit. You can even grab an ice cream on your way out to help cool your mouth if you wish to do so. Everyone in the office has made new feel special, important, and very kind. I couldn't be happier with my ortho family here at Woloshyn's office!

Great office, team members are in sync, Dr. Woloshyn is great at what she does. Passion is what comes to mind. I went there for braces before my jaw surgery. They worked side by side with my surgeon very well. Now my daughter will start her treatments here. My niece and nephew are both in line for future ortho treatments also. Highly recommended.
