Dr Harrison Chen was able to accommodate me when I had to get an emergency oral extraction of a severely infected tooth. The surgery couldn't have been any quicker and almost painless. He was attentive and was even available to answer my questions over the phone and via text over the weekend. I highly recommend!

I have taken out all my 4 wisdom teeth with dr Harrison last week and it was a great experience. I have seen multiple other doctors who mentioned that it will be a difficult case given the angle but he reassured me that it will be an easy procedure. I opted for sedation and felt great afterwards. Highly recommended - he knows what he is doing

I had two wisdom teeth extraction with Dr. Chen yesterday. I had no pain during or after the surgery and it didn't take more than 15-20 min. He was so assuring during the procedure and I felt no anxiety at all. Their office website is so useful and informative. Everything was so efficient and not a minute of my time was waisted. I have no swelling or pain whatsoever. He is such an expert doctor. He is not only skillful, but so goodhearted too. Knowing that I have financial difficulty, he waived expenses after I had already paid and reimbursed me just to help without me asking. I definitely recommend him and praise his work.

I am writing another great review about Dr Harrison Chen he is truly amazing. On Friday April 29th I did two more teeth extractions and I was sedated. When I woke up I didn't feel a thing no pain or discomfort. I left Dr. Chen's office happy and satisfied. Dr. Chen was very professional and easy to talk to he called me that evening to find out how I was feeling. The next day I still felt great and I had no bleeding and I was moving around as usual and eating with no problem. I highly recommend Dr Chen he is a great oral surgeon and his staff is really fantastic in their mannerism and friendliness. As soon as you walk in you feel right at home and you are greeted with care and concern. I thank Dr Harrison Chen and his entire staff and looking forward to returning in August to start implants. Continue doing a great I really appreciate you all taking care of me. God's blessings.

Dr. Chen was recommended to me both by my dentist and work colleague. I had two implants placed. The surgery was quick and painless with minimal recovery. The assistants were very friendly and helpful, and the office was clean, modern, and the technology was very impressive. The doctor was accessible on the weekend when I had a question this morning. Skilled doctor with great service.

I had three implants placed by Dr. Chen; the surgery was fast and painless. The office staff was very friendly and helpful. The facility was state of the art. My meds were called in before I left the office and the pharmacy had it by the time I arrived. highly recommended

Dr Chen complicated surgery on me in midst of a pandemic . The office was clean , state of the art and the staff was extremely hospitable and warm . Dr Chen was available 24/7 whenever I had questions about the procedure etx !!

My wife had two wisdom teeth extracted. She opted for local anesthesia because of her fear of sedation. Dr. Chen was very accommodating. The surgery incredibly took less than 15 minutes and my wife was comfortable the entire time. Dr. Chen was thorough with our questions and concerns and called us the evening of the surgery to check on us. Top notch service.

I had an extraction performed by Dr. Chen last week. The wait to see him wasn't too long. The office was serene with lots of beautiful plants. The staff seemed friendly as well. The X-ray machine was state of the art. The doctor was pleasant and the extraction was fairly quick. It would have been nice, however, if the doctor had waited for the numbing gel to do its work before starting to poke around with the needle. I don't think I have ever had such an unpleasant experience having novocaine injected and I have a lot of experience to draw from, unfortunately. The doctor followed up in the evening to make sure I was doing ok, which I appreciated.

Thank you Dr. Chen, and your staff for making an emergency tooth extraction a positive experience. On a recent morning, I awoke with pain in my tooth and gum and phoned Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery of New York City; a partner in the practice removed my wisdom teeth years before, another positive experience. Dr. Chen answered the phone personally and told me he would see me that morning since his partner was out of the office. My first interactions in the office were with the front office staff and nurses, all who are very efficient, nice, smart, and cheerful, not always easy to be in COVID times. The office is nicely decorated and outfitted with the latest dental equipment. After an X-ray and a consultation with Dr. Chen the diagnosis was a tooth with a cavity so large it needed to be removed. I panicked and Dr. Chen reassured me that the tooth extraction was simple and he could do it in five minutes. He meant what he said, after novocaine, I was asked to close my eyes, and before I knew it the tooth was out and a bone implant in. I was given very clear follow-up instruction and was pleasantly surprised to find after the novocaine wore off there was more soreness than pain requiring nothing more than Tylenol. That night, a follow-up call from Dr. Chen reassured me that I was in good hands. Let's face it dental procedures are seldom on anyone's top ten list of things to do, however, they do not have to be the dreaded experiences most people anticipate. It is doctors like Dr. Chen and his staff that make the difference. When it is time to consider and implant, I will definitely return to Dr. Chen in three months.

I was seen as an emergency patient while I was visiting New York. Not only did the office take me right in, I had the best dental experience. Being in a foreign place and unfamiliar town it was scary to not know what to expect. The staff was so nice and friendly. The office was clean and modern and the technology was mind blowing. I saw Dr. Harrison Chen and he was the most informative and thorough doctor I've ever met. He took the tooth out in less than 5 minutes. The surgeon in my hometown who took my other wisdom tooth out spent almost an hour for the procedure a few years ago. Dr. Chen called me the evening of the surgery to check on me and left his personal number. He said I could text or call him anytime should I have questions or concerns, since I would not be coming back for a follow up visit. The office also helped me with insurance reimbursement and I got the check almost as soon as I returned home. Really a great and surprising experience in a foreign city.

When my daughter needed her impacted wisdom teeth removed, we chose Dr Chen for his technical surgical excellence, double board certification in oral surgery/dental anesthesia, professionalism, and bed/chair side manner. The whole procedure was completed in 30 minutes, my daughter recovered in 72 hours. He is the one of the best in New York City.
