I have been a patient of Dr Rittenberg since 1996. I moved out of Jacksonville in 2012 for work and I have been to a few dentists since, but only for cleanings. I just dont trust anyone else with my teeth. The office staff, hygiene staff and Dental staff are all so friendly and welcome me like family. I drive 5 hours from Ft Lauderdale to see Dr Rittenberg for fillings or any work. I had an embarrassing smile and my confidence is back. I slacked because I didnt want to let anyone else do any invasive work. I will forever be a patient here, it feels like family and I never feel pressured for anything. Making a change to a new dental practice and had my patient in-take appt with Dr Rittenberg's office today. Calls to the office were handled very efficiently and courteously while getting setup for the appointment. The dental technologist (Kim), was very knowledgeable, proficient and pleasant as were all of the front office staff. I was seen by Dr Jones as part of the in-take and she was pleasant and thorough as well. All-in-all my initial visit went very smooth and as delightful as a dental appt can go. Looking forward to the actual maintenance appt next month. Thanks to the new practice staff, New Patient

I had an emergency extraction this May, 2016, the day before I was leaving for Maine. Dr. Rittenberg's office staff had me come right in as soon as I called. Dr. Rittenberg performed the extraction so gently with understanding and care. I am so thankful that he is my general dentist. I highly recommend Dr. Rittenberg for all your dental needs. I have referred many friends and they are all so pleased with Dr. Rittenberg and his staff.

I've been a patient for 25 years and so has my daughter. You can't find any dentist more honest and kind than Dr. Rittenberg. The office is very clean and the staff are pleasant. The hygienists I've had are very gentle and listen to my concerns. Couldn't ask for a better dentistry.

I see Erica for all my bi-annual cleaning and check-ups. She is personable, caring and professional. I think Dr Rittenberg and Dr Jones make a great dental team. I was impressed at my first appointment 20 years ago, when Dr Rittenberg asked me how long I expected to have my natural teeth. Of course I answered, "Until I die!"

OMG we found our new dentist, hooray! We have been searching for a great dentist for the last 4 years since we moved to the area and this is how amazing Dr. Rittenberg and his staff are...it is a 2 hour round trip drive and he is worth every minute in the car! We loved Dr. Rittenberg and every member of his staff were just wonderful!

Unfortunately, despite the positive things we've heard from several family members who go to this practice and highly recommended it, my husband has had a really bizarre and unprofessional experience here. I was going to sign up as a new patient as well and have a cleaning scheduled, but I will be cancelling it and we'll both be looking for a new provider. It's a long story, but my husband went for a first visit/consultation and had x rays taken over a month ago, and two follow up appointments were scheduled for a deep cleaning. Because of his anxiety about the process and traumatic past experiences at the dentist, he was told to have someone drive him and he would be sedated for the procedure. So, we show up for the first of the two scheduled appointments (since I'm the designated driver), and we find out that apparently his appointment was rescheduled for the next month (via email!) only a few days beforehand, and they did not bother to confirm this change with him. Not only that, but it they do not have it scheduled with sedation, and they haven't confirmed what his insurance will even cover at this point, which is another long story. When we are there in the office, we speak to someone named Catherine, who seems like she might be an office manager, and seems apologetic and embarrassed about the situation. She explains that the person who helped my husband previously has been fired and makes it sound like it's all a misunderstanding stemming from this person's incompetency. She says she will look at the notes, confirm his insurance, and follow back up with us either that day or the day after, but of course, those two days go by and we don't hear anything. We just have to assume at this point that they don't need our businesses, and unfortunately, wasted a lot of our time in the process.
