Dr. Patel was born and raised in Bombay, India. He completed his first Dental School in Maharashtra State in 1997. After graduation, he attended UCLA for advanced dental education and later was accepted in the prestigious and one of the oldest Dental schools in the world, New York University, College of Dentistry in Manhattan, NY. He graduated with Honors in General Dentistry, in 2005. In 2006, Dr. Patel started NJ Smiles Dental in Edison from scratch.
He has attended over 1500 hours of CE credits in the various dental related course. He has amassed over 700 CE hours in Implant Dentistry and over 400 CE hours in Orthodontics including Invisalign. Dr. Patel, belongs to Elite group of handpicked Dentists, known as Reingage, hosted by Dr. Galler. This group processes more than 10% of ALL Invisalign cases in US.
Dr. Patel, is known as a very competent and well-mannered person with the philosophy of patients first. His gentle nature and calm attitude makes a dental visit enjoyable. He is known for his Painless Shots. Dr. Patel, resides in Edison with his wife and two children. Dr. Patel's wife, Reshma, helps him run the dental practices.

We have a very bad experience with dr hardeek office in union. They cancelled our routine cleaning appointments without telling us ahead of time. When we arrived there, they then said it's cancelled because the cleaning staff was not there. When we asked to reschedule, they said they didn't know the cleaning schedule, but we did see other people go in for the cleaning on the same day. I know it's the end of year, and we have Medicare / Medicaid, which they said they did accept. They should not be this unprofessional! Very disappointed on this office !

I have been very disappointed with Dr Hardeek Patel & NJ smile treating their patients. Not transparent and formal process in the treatment plan. 1. First doctor has committed that he will remove wisdom teeth's in NJ smile and after 2 weeks he declined without notice to the patient on the reason 2. Dr Hardeek has miss guided us and he asked in last minute that we need to go to Oral surgeon for removal 3. My wife is in tooth pain and there is lack of transparency to the patient 4. Extra charges has been applied and if you ask x-ray. Copy to NJ smile as they feel patient can go elsewhere for treatment. Pls understand the pain of patient and maintain good relationships. We came to NJ smile by seeing high ratings and good name of the Dr Hardeek Patel. I am sorry
