Kennesaw Mountain Dental Associates is a full service family dental practice serving the residents of Kennesaw and the surrounding areas. Our dentist, Dr. Hamir Contractor, earned a Doctorate in Dental Surgery degree from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2003. After practicing in Cleveland, TN and Cartersville, GA, he achieved his dream of opening his own dental practice in Kennesaw, Georgia in 2009.
Dr. Contractor has surrounded himself with a team of talented and dedicated dental support professionals including two dental hygienists, a dental assistant and an office manager. Together we work hard to deliver the highest quality dental care in a warm and friendly environment. We provide comprehensive dental care including dental cleanings and checkups, root canals, implant repairs, restorative dentistry and more. Dr. Hamir Contractor graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1998 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and a minor in Chemistry. He continued on at UNC Chapel Hill to earn his Doctorate in Dental Surgery degree in 2003.
While in dental school, Dr, Contractor had the honor of being selected as the coordinator for the Student Health Action Coalition at UNC. Dr. Contractor, with three other classmates, ran a dental clinic which provided dental care to families of Orange County, NC whom otherwise could not afford such services. Dr. Contractor was also an active member of Psi Omega Dental Fraternity, American Dental Education Association, and the Student Research Group. While at UNC, he also took advantage of externships offered to him. Dr. Contractor participated in rotations at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, NC, Childrens Hospital of Pittsburgh, PA and the Royal Melbourne Dental hospital in Melbourne, Australia.
After dental school, Dr. Contractor completed two boards that made him eligible to practice dentistry in most of the southeastern states. Soon after graduation, Dr. Contractor married and moved to Cleveland, TN. While in Cleveland, TN, he practiced in a Public Health setting. He treated all age groups and provided high quality care to a population that could least afford it. Three years later, he joined a family practice in Cartersville, GA.
Finally, in 2009, his dream of having his own practice became a reality. My team and I specialize in high quality and compassionate care, giving you and your family a safer and more comfortable experience. We have invested in the latest dental technology, like digital x-rays that reduce your exposure to radiation. My goal is to become knowledgeable and proactive in each of my patients oral health.
In his spare time, Dr. Contractor enjoys spending time with his wife and son. They can usually be spotted at the tennis courts. Each month he volunteers at Ben Massell Dental Clinic where he provides free dental care to patients in need. He also enjoys travel and trying new local restaurants.
Dr. Glab graduated from the University of the Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine in 2009. She spent the next year completing an internship in Oral Surgery which focused on all areas of surgery. Dr. Glab is skilled in extractions, implant surgery and restoration, and restorative dentistry. Dr. Glab, her husband Phillip and their 4 children moved to Kennesaw in 2018. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her children, going on hikes, skiing and traveling.

In early October Dr. Contractor replaced 2 crowns for me that did not fit properly. It was a good experience. Dr. Contractor carefully explained what he was doing throughout the procedure. Everyone was friendly and I was offered a nice, cozy blanket in the event that the room temperature was too cool for me. The dental equipment was modern and I felt that made the dental work more efficient and accurate.

I've had lots of dental work over the years due to lack of fluoride as a child so I think I'm a pretty good judge for whether a dentist is good or not. Dr Contractor is what I'd cal an"painless dentist". He's done a couple crowns and fillings for me and they were the easiest I've ever had. And my hygienist Kasey is very thorough. Thanks to everyone in our office.

The entire office staff conducts themselves in an incredibly caring and professional way. I have always gotten excellent care and service from Dr. C and everyone in his practice, even through Covid. The office is pleasant and inviting. This practice was a great find for me. I drive quite a distance to see Dr. C and am always amazed by people who change dentists every time they find someone five minutes closer. I plan on being a life long patient at this practice. I've had fillings, cleanings and two crowns at this practice. The crowns were well fitted the day they were placed. No awkward drag in my bite, no gum issues. After two botched crowns by another dentist, my husband finally made the leap this year to Dr. C as well. As an honorable mention, the last time I was in the office which was sometime in September (2020), a woman came in ranting and raving about not knowing she was actually going to have to be out of pocket some for her procedures and blasting the front desk folks for that. She was loud and quite obnoxious, and everyone in the office and treatment rooms could hear her rude rant. My hygienist tuned in to the conversation immediately when it started and quickly suggested that the combative woman be invited to the private conference room, but she was not interested in resolution, only in dishing out continued verbal abuse. The staff people that she was directing her venom spray towards were incredibly professional with her, kind and patient. And when she finally left, there was no gossiping or bashing her in the wake of her turbulence. Just business as usual and concern for patients in the practice. True professionalism. Great practice. You won't be sorry you gave them a try.

The reviews did not lie, he and his office do deserve 5 star ratings!! I can tell you I will no longer need to travel for any dentist appointments, Dr Contractor's office is the only one I will be going to from now on. His staff is very polite, the office is very clean and cosy. He made sure I was confortable and in no pain during my procedure, explained everything that was being done step by step. I recommend him 100%!!

I usually go to my home country for dentist checkups and procedures, but since Covid I was unable to fly, and I found Dr Contractor. The reviews did not lie, he and his office do deserve 5 star ratings!! I can tell you I will no longer need to travel for any dentist appointments, Dr Contractor's office is the only one I will be going to from now on. His staff is very polite, the office is very clean and cosy. He made sure I was confortable and in no pain during my procedure, explained everything that was being done step by step. I recommend him 100%!!

Dr. Contractor and all of his staff are amazing! I have not been to a dentist in so many years!!! I recently had to have 6 teeth pulled and I honestly expected the worst pain ever. During the entire process Dr. Contractor and his assistant communicated EVERYTHING to me the entire time. They made sure I was comfortable and in no pain. Dr. Contractor did such an amazing job, I didn't have to get the pain med prescription filled. The entire office is so friendly, helpful and patient. The longest wait time I have had in 5 visits was about 4 min. before they took me to the back. I would HIGHLY recommend Dr. Contractor and his staff to anyone. They are truly just awesome!!!

Outstanding dental care, from the front office to all the dental hygienists and Dr Contractor is simply the best. We have referred several people to him and they all are very happy with their switch. He has state of the art equipment and is meticulous with his care.
