Dr. Hal Stewart has a long-standing commitment to the highest standards of general, cosmetic, and reconstructive dentistry. A biologic and systems-focused dentist, he believes that the goal of treatment should be to maintain a healthy, optimally functioning chewing system that is supported by, and in turn supports, a healthy airway. He believes that a healthy airway, and a healthy mouth with stable joints and harmonious occlusion, are imperative to ones overall health.

Dr. Stewart graduated from Baylor College of Dentistry in 1989 and has been in private practice ever since. He studied at the Pankey Institute, The Dawson Academy, The Las Vegas Institute, as well as the OBI Foundation for Bioesthetic Dentistry.

He has written many articles over the years for publication in professional journals and is a frequent lecturer on the topics of BioRejuvenation and Cosmetic Dentistry, Dental Practice Management, Laser Dentistry, and Case Presentation.

He is a current affiliate and faculty member for The Breathe Institute in Los Angeles, as well as a teaching faculty member and clinical advisor for Vivos. He is the past President of the Texas Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and is currently working on board certification with the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine.

I became a dentist out of a sincere desire to help people. My sister worked for a dentist when she was in high school and I spent time in his office. He was a kind, caring man and he really enjoyed what he did. I didnt think much about then, but I know he had a positive influence on me. When I went to college I joined the Health Care Pre-Professional Club and there I was influenced by professors and some wonderful friends I made who were pre-dental students.

I was honored to have an article published in the October 2018 issue of Dentistry Today on Utilizing Nanohybrid Flowable Composite Techniques. The BioRejuvenation case featured in this article illustrates the conservative, yet very significant dentistry that we can provide our patients. The key is being cognizant of the airway, making sure the joints are stable, and waxing and restoring once the joints have achieved their stable condylar position. Using biologic tooth form in creating anterior proprioceptive guidance, we can restore complex cases with minimal to no prepping, using only composite resin. It is the best of both worlds, beauty and function while being minimally invasive. For the complete article, click here: http://www.dentistrytoday.com/articles/10486

I am passionate about health and I believe in being fit and active. I train almost daily, lifting weights and doing various cardiovascular exercises such as running, elliptical, stair master, and power walking. I have competed in body building contests as a 50+ year old! I also believe in eating healthy while still enjoying an occasional indulgence of comfort food. A healthy body will serve one well their entire lifetime. We only have one body and we need to take care of it, and of course oral health plays a large part in ones overall!

I went to Dr. Corredor after suffering a sports injury that nearly knocked out my two front teeth. I am very grateful to her and her staff for the fantastic job they did remodeling my mouth. My smile now gets compliments and gives me a feeling of confidence. I have never met a dentist so commited in creating the most beautiful smiles in the world. Thank you again for your professional treatment only a true perfectionist could perform.

The punctuality and professionalism of Dr. Corredors practice is second to none. Before visiting Dr. Corredor, I thought that dental visits included an unwanted thirty minute minimum of magazine review before I was permittted to see the dentist. I have never waited more than five minutes to see Dr. Corredor. She takes the time to explain the treatment, and is always sure I am comfortable throughout the procedures. The entire staff is friendly and they go out of their way to make your visit a pleasurable one.

At my first dental visit with you I was very scared, however you made me feel very comfortable. I appreciated the way you explained everything to me and seemed genuinely concerned with my dental problems. My teeth and gums were in terrible shape, and to be honest, I was embarrassed. You and your professional staff educated me on better dental careNow my gums are healthyI am so much more relaxed in the dental chair than ever before and I know that is because I am confident and I trust that you are truly a great dentist doing what is the very best for me.

I am very happy with my new smile that Dr. Corredor gave to me. My half smile to hide my front overlapped tooth is now a full proud smile with all of my teeth straight. The compliments I get are definitely worth the dental work I received. Dr. Corredor is very gentle, very professional and a perfectionist. Thank you Dr. Corredor!

I was lied to about a new replacement tooth/crown, which the doctor said,"looks great, lets get it in!" ....When the doctor's fellow colleague called the doctor out on how badly the tooth looked, the doctor, months later, changed his comment re the tooth. Very unprofessional. Think about it, would u be willing to accept shoddy workmanship? This dentist was..... until someone called him out. Doesn't sound like he cares about his work does it? I have lost all respect for this office. ***The Dentist, Dr. Stewart, has NEVER EVER offered to meet with me, To the contrary, he has manipulated what happened to make himself seem to look good. And why wouldn't he? He didn't/doesn't want to be a dentist any more. He chose to negate his dental oath, which was to be honest and work for the betterment of his patients. It was his decision to not stand by his work nor his word. ( I could type so much more about this.)

30 years ago I had a negative experience with a Dentist that left me extremely fearful and I avoided going to the dentist even to the detriment of my own health. I know that many people have a dislike for going to the dentist....this was a fear far beyond what most people experience. I neglected my own dental needs on and off for decades only going to a dentist when I was in pain and required some type of significant/extreme treatment. I consider myself an intelligent person....intellectually I knew that this was not rational....but I managed to create a cycle of fear, pain and shame associated with my own dental care. I was honestly afraid that my teeth were all going to fall out and that I was going to need dentures before I turned 50 but couldn't find my way to do something about it. Then, I was referred to Dr. Stewart's practice. I remember showing up for my first appointment and sitting in the parking lot with tears streaming down my face and shaking.....all just to go inside and have a consultation/cleaning! Everyone....and I mean EVERYONE in that office was kind, compassionate and patient on that visit and on the numerous visits I have had since. I used to require gas to be given a needle to even get me to open my mouth!!!! And I cried from the time I pulled into the parking lot till the time I left on my first few visits. I had my most recent appointment last week and there were no tears...no gas...no novacaine and most importantly....no FEAR!!!! Dr. Stewart is a kind and gentle man who is passionate about helping his patients achieve the healthiest outcomes possible. He leads by example and his staff all follow. Since earning my trust I have allowed them to repair the significant tooth and gum decay challenges that I had allowed my own fear to cause me to create and I can now smile without feeling ashamed. I would recommend Dr. Stewart and his entire team without hesitation and would encourage anyone who has ever been fearful of the Dentist to give them a chance to help you conquer your own fear and find your way to a healthier/happier you!!! Even if you don't have a fear of the dentist...I promise....Dr. Stewart and his entire team will meet or exceed your highest expectations!
