Dr. H. Carl Burton Jr, DMD graduated fromClemson Universitywith a Bachelors Degree in Microbiology. He then attended theMedical University of South Carolina in Charlestongetting his degree in Dentistry. Upon graduation, Dr. Burton returned to his hometown of Greenville, SC to practice dentistry in order to reach out to the community he grew up in.
Dr. Burton has been practicing since 1986. His experience is in restorative dentistry, cosmetic dentistry, and implant restorations. He is a member of theAmerican Dental Association,South Carolina Dental Association, and the Piedmont District Dental Society.
Dr. Burton spends most of his time with his wife, Lisa, whom has been married to for 18 years, and their three daughters, Anna, Carly, and Virginia. He also enjoys the outdoors, going to the gym, snow skiing, scuba diving, all sports, and his passion, woodworking.

Dr Buton and his staff is the best. Called at 8am on a Monday because I was having problems with my jaw/teeth. Told me he could see me at 1230 that same day. Not even an hour later his office called me to say he finished an appointment early and asked if I could come on in. He ended up seeing me an hour and a half after I called! I'm so glad to have Dr. burton as my dentist!

An incredibly kind, compassionate Dentist and human being is how I describe Dr. Burton. As well as painfree!It has been a pleasure for 20 plus years walking into the office to see the smiling faces of his staff and know they are taking the best care of my teeth as well as greeting my husband and myself as family. The most wonderful practice out there! Thank you all

I've had dentistphobia since my youth from one particular dentist I hated. I've disliked dentists ever since. Dr.Burton has changed my mind. He's very gentle, wants whats best for his patients. Even the numbing shots of novacaine are PAINLESS. I have been to him for crown replacement, cavities and cleanings. My wife also goes to Dr. Burton.

Dr. Burton has been my dentist for over 10 years. I appreciate that he communicates with me during a procedure and verifies that I'm not in pain. Stephanie is a great hygienist. Like a lot of people, going to the dentist is not something I look forward to; however, Dr. Burton and his staff are friendly and make me feel at ease. I would highly recommend them.

I've had multiple work done back in NY and that doesn't even compare to Dr. Burton. He is a class act guy and knows what he is doing. Didn't feel a thing and it was over very quickly. He has an awesome staff as well and I would highly recommend switching to him or making him your dentist in the near future!!

Dr.Burton and his staff are simply the best. I have been a patient of his for several years now and get my bi-annual cleanings done with hygienist Stephanie. I have also had crown work done by Dr. Burton. They are always courteous and professional whenever I visit their office. I highly recommend them to anyone who is looking for a world class practice that truly cares about each and every patient they serve. I can honestly and proudly say I am a patient for life!

I have been using Dr. Burton's office for well over a decade on everything from regular cleaning (Thanks Stephanie!), cavity repair (I like my sweets) to tooth reconstruction. Wouldn't go anywhere else.
