Long time patient who was pleased with service for about 18 years, but Greg seems to have gotten lazy and sloppy with his work the past couple of years. After a bad experience with a faulty filling and several poor attempts to "patch", I've moved on.

I made an appointment for an exam and x-rays and asked the receptionist when I would be able to get an appointment for a teeth cleaning. I was told I could get my teeth cleaned very quickly after my exam and x-rays. I went in for my exam and x-rays and then was checking out and was told my teeth cleaning appointment would be at the end of March 2021. I mentioned that I had been told I would be seen quickly after my exam. They used COVID-19 as an excuse for being so far behind. Not only do I have to find a new dentist, the X-rays from Dr. Mellon's office are on outdated film and not digital. Good luck finding a dentist who will accept these X-rays. I am requesting a refund for this exam which I feel baited into having done and I am telling all my friends and family to find a new dentist. I would have gone to another dentist if I had been told from the beginning they are not doing new teeth cleaning appointments until the spring of 2021. These are bad business practices! Find a better dentist!

Kelsey, dental hygienist, is far and away the most focused, efficient, hygienist I've encountered in my long (70yr) experience. She is calm, gentle, reassuring. Best of all--she times the little breaks (for swallowing) perfectly. Every time!

The team is always cheerful, helful, and supportive. I really do not like going to the dentist but of all the dentists I have been to in my life Dr Mellon's office is by far the best!2

Solid work... sensitive to (mine at least) phobias and fear.. painless (of course)... explains as much as you care to know.. Used best practices, not most expensive.. ( I'm a skeptic perhaps, I ask about most modern, newest.. but don't believe thoses are necessarilly best... best for patient i.e... Friendly, witty, funny... good office staff... they all seem to like each other. I like him and office

My experience at the office was great. The staff and technicians are kind and are gentle. They offer reading material and posters to look at through out the experience and chat to make the time go by quickly. They all communicate about what is happening and also allow you to see too. My only not so great experience was with the Dr himself. He repeatedly commented on the size of my teeth, and how they look white but really are just splotchy. He was quite rude, but in the nicest way... if that even makes sense. Perhaps in just sensitive though. He also couldn't find the fracture in my fractured tooth, which has been problematic for me for almost a decade. Other than those little remarks and making me feel as though my tooth pain wasn't real, through out my visit with him, he was gentle and talkative. It's great that they offer payment plans too!
