Dr. Robbins attended Purdue University for his undergraduate studies before departing for Indiana University School of Dentistry. After obtaining his Doctorate of Dental Surgery in 1985, he completed his 2 year specialty training in Pediatric Dentistry at Indiana University School of Dentistry and Riley Children's Hospital in 1987. His training also included a minor in child psychology. Following his certification in Pediatric Dentistry, Dr Robbins earned a master degree in Pediatric Dentistry in 1988 and was awarded the Ralph McDonald Research Award. He is a member and past president of the Indiana Society of Pediatric Dentistry and a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, American Dental Association, and the North Central Indiana Dental Association.
In addition to his practice, Dr Robbins has served as the Director of Dental Services for the Healthy Beginnings Dental Clinic in Elkhart since 1993. This is a community-based non-for-profit dental clinic that serves the needs of children from lower income families. In addition to the directorship, Dr. Robbins volunteers one day per month restoring the teeth of younger children in the clinic. He is blessed to have a great supervisor for the clinic and a hard working staff. Dr Robbins was recently honored for his work with the clinic by the Indiana Dental Association and the Indiana Public Health Association.
Dr. Robbins has a wonderful wife, Pat and two adult children, Christopher and Megan. When not at the office, Dr. Robbins enjoys spending time with his wife and family. He loves to participate in his church choir where he is on a praise team, quartet and does solo work. Traveling, reading, biking, and being outdoors are some of Dr. Robbins' hobbies, as well as spending time with friends.
Dr. Robbins is proud of his excellent staff, many of whom have been a part of the practice for many years. Each member brings a special skill and caring to her job. They work hard each day to provide great dental health for the children of our community in a fun environment.
Brenda graduated from Indiana University South Bend as a Registered Dental Hygienist in 1994. She was president of her class and received the Procter and Gamble Preventive Dentistry Award for excellence in dental hygiene education and care. She joined our practice soon after graduation and has been an integral part of our patients' care. Brenda loves working with children and has the goal of educating her patients in proper oral care and inspiring them to achieve it. With an expansive knowledge of children's dentistry, Brenda works well with all age groups, as well as special needs children. In her free time, Brenda loves spending time with her 3 children, family and friends. She also enjoys traveling, shopping and all sports, with an emphasis on the Bears, Cubs, Bulls and of course I.U. basketball.
Lynn joined our practice in 1998, after graduating from Indiana University South Bend with a degree as a Registered Dental Hygienist. She works part time, while balancing her other duties as a wife, mother, and volunteering in the community. Her favorite part of her job is taking time with each small child and making them feel at ease so they will always look forward to coming back to our office. Lynn enjoys spending time with her husband, Brad, and her three children. She participates in workouts, running and volunteering in her childrens school.
Sue was Dr. Robbins first employee. She started as a chairside assistant for his predecessor and then moved to the front desk. She has a vast knowledge of pediatric dentistry that comes with experience. Sue works hard to assist patients and parents with their dental scheduling needs. In her spare time, Sue enjoys spending time with her family and friends and loves to travel when she can.
Deb has been with the practice since 1998. She has worked as a chairside assistant as well, so she has an appreciation and knowledge of procedures that we perform. In addition, Deb is skilled in coordinating financial arrangements for our parents. Deb grew up in Elkhart and had previous experience in the medical field. She loves working in a pediatric dental office and seeing the many smiling children that come to our office each day. In her off time, Deb loves spending time with her family and gardening.
Sharon has been a member of our team since 2005. Before working here, Sharon has had many years of experience working in the health care field in customer service. Sharon brings to the office a knowledge of computer networking and a special touch with her hobby, crafting. She will work with you to coordinate your dental insurance benefits. When not working, Sharon enjoys reading, a variety of craft projects, and watching sports, especially the Indianapolis Colts.
Jeri has been a member of our team since 1994. She began her career in pediatric dentistry and also spent some time in an orthodontic practice. Jeri loves working with children and will strive to make your childs visit easy and enjoyable. She is especially gifted at getting radiographs on smaller children. Her abilities include expanded duty dental assisting and working with many dental appliances. Jeri also serves the practice as a mentor for new employees and interns from our local schools. When not working, Jeri loves living on the river. Sharing time with friends and family, attending plays and concerts, and church activities are some of her favorite things.
Nancy joined our practice in 1994. She is a key member of our clinical assisting staff and is skilled in expanded duty dental assisting. Nancy feels we have a great team and has a lot of fun working with our patients. She also functions as our inventory control supervisor, ensuring that we have the necessary supplies to provide excellent dental care to our patients. Outside of the office, Nancy enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She loves her animals, the great outdoors and living the country life.
Kim has been in the dental field since 1999 and joined our team in 2016. Kim loves to help children feel happy and comfortable at our office. She lives on a lake where she like to go boating. Other interests include traveling and spending time with friends and family.

I absolutely love taking my girls here for their dental work, Dr Gregory Robbins is amazing with my children and even after moving 40 minutes away we still make the drive to see him!

My children always enjoy going for their appointments. Dr. Robbins and the staff are always warm and inviting and take the time to let you know everything going on with your children. Very professional and a clean environment also.

We love Dr. Robbins! He is amazing with all of my kids. My oldest began coming to him 10 years ago (after another dentist had messed up his molars so badly that some had to be removed). Dr. Robbins calmed his fears of the dentist and was able to save some of my son's molars. My oldest has not had one dental issue since he began seeing Dr. Robbins. My other two children also see Dr. Robbins and he has amazing patience with them (they are both toddlers) and I know their teeth are well looked after! I recommend him to everyone I know who has children!

Dr. ROBBINS IS AMAZING! HE AGREED TO SEE MY LITTLE GIRL ON A DAY WHEN HIS OFFICE WAS CLOSED, AND SHE WASNT EVEN A PATIEMT OF HIS. HE WAS WONDERFUL GETTING A VERY INFECTETED TOOTH OUT, AND WAS FRIENDLY AND COMFORTING. HE DEFINITELY GAINED MY 3 KIDS AS NEW PATIENTS!

My son did great even reminded me about his upcoming dentist apt. After a horrible experience from previous dentist. I was so pleased with everything. They got him right in. No judgmental attitude. Just friendly staff and the dentist called and explained everything to me. The kids do go back alone which had me nervous but he honestly did better without me hovering. Just something to note if you do have a problem with that.

I dont trust this place. My kids both had appts this morning that are overdue as is cuz of covid.. They tell us we have to send my 4 yr old daughter who's never around strangers back to the the room by herself.. Yaa I think not. I get covid has changed some things but that's not acceptable in any world. Dentist or not I shouldnt be forced to send my little girl back with this old man by herself.. Then be forced to cancel the appts cuz they would rather follow their bs rules then make my daughter feel comfortable as if the fukn dentist isnt a scary place for kids anyway.. Smh my kids wont ever be going back there n I honestly think everyone else should follow suit..

Will not be returning. No way a 4 year old girl should be forced to go in alone and be traumatized of the dentist for the rest of her life because they want to force her to go in alone in the middle of a pandemic when she is terrified. Receptionists did not care one bit about any concerns either. Will not recommend to anyone. Will find a dentist who cares and makes us comfortable! My 4 year old daughter shouldn't have to be so upset that she cant have her mom go in with her that she is throwing up. If you want someone who cares about your concerns its not this place!

Dr. Robbins and his staff go out of their way to help my son Jonathan with his dental care. They are sensitive to his special needs and help educate me to improve his dental care at home. He loves going to the dentist!

I highly recommend Dr. Robins. My son had never been to the dentist before and had a very bad cavity. I called and they got him in right away. Even with covid-19 right now they were professional and polite. Took care of his tooth within an hour and we were on our way. My son had a very positive experience and isn't afraid to return for routine check ups. Was this helpful?
