John J. Dugan received his doctorate from the University Of Washington Dental School in 1981. In addition to honors programs throughout his training in periodontics, full mouth restorative rehabilitation training, and pedodontics, Dr. Dugan received additional hospital training at two different oral surgery and anesthesia centers.

Harborview Hospital in Seattle, Washington provided multiple experiences in oral surgery, emergency, anesthesia and sedation training. John Peter Smith Hospital and Parkland Hospital in Texas provided additional oral surgery training with oral surgery residents and hospital staff for Dr. Dugan in his education. Dr. Dugan is a member of the AAID, the prestigeous orginization which recognizes implantoligy excellence. (Dr. Dugan is certified in advanced cardiac lifesupport and CPR).

Dr Dugan began working in the dental laboratory field while in his teens and brings a lifetime of love and experience in dentistry to share with our team. He enjoys mountain climbing, biking, stand up paddle boarding and diving among other sports activities.

Gene Leeearned his degree at U.C. Berkeley for undergraduate studiesmajoring in Integrative Biology. He attended NYU College of Dentistry. He completed his AEGD at Lutheran Medical Center (Maui Oral Health Center). After completing his AEGD he movedto the Big Island and worked at Hawaii Family Dental Center in Waikoloa. Later he moved to Fort Worth Texas to work at Archstone Dental Center.

Dr. Lee was born and raised in Los Angeles. He moved aroundthe country many times living everywhere from San Francisco to New York, Maui/Big Island to Fort Worth and more. He even went abroad, living in London for a period of time! Dr. Lee enjoys the outdoors and has a passion for technology.

Dr. Yeager is originally from a small town in northernMichigan and has been gradually moving to warmer states ever since. After completingdental school she was lucky enough to have the opportunity to relocate to Maui for her dentalresidency. After completing her residency Dr. Yeager lived on the Big Island for one year beforebriefly living and working in Texas. After 9 short months in Texas she made the decision tomove back to Maui permanently. Dr. Yeager enjoyssnorkeling, scuba diving, hiking, paddle boarding, photography, traveling,and cooking in her free time.

Elaine Baker graduated from Lane Community College Eugene, OR in 2003 with Associate of Applied Science Dental Hygiene. She moved to Maui in 2004. Elaine enjoys interacting and creating long relationships with patients. She is a member of American Dental Hygienist Association. In her spare time she enjoys going to the beach, cooking, crafting and hobbies, treasure hunting and spending time with her dog and friends.

Chantel Abreu graduated from the University of Hawaii Maui College in 2013 as a honors graduate. Prior to studying dental hygiene, she worked as a dental assistant for 11 years in the field of Pedodontics, General Dentistry, Oral Surgery, and Orthodontics. She was also an honors graduate from King Kekaulike High School.

Chantel knew she always wanted to be in the field of dentistry since she was a little girl. Once she got a taste of what a dental hygienists job was, she knew she was doing what shes passionate about. She enjoys getting to know her patients, building a bond, making sure her patients are always satisfied and happy with their treatment, and most especially patient education. Patient education is something she takes very serioulsy and feels that, it is never to late to learn. In her free time, Chantel is a wife and a very loving and enjoyable mother to her 1 year old daughter. She enjoys spending time with her family and being outdoors.

Prior to being a dental hygienist, Star worked as a dental assistant for five years in General Dentistry. She enjoys interacting with her patients, ensuring that they have a comfortable experience, and providing them with the information that they need to make decisions about their oral health.

Star is dedicated to serving our community and volunteers her time with Sea Of Smiles and Give Kids A Smile to provide disadvantaged children in our communities with dental services. In her free time she enjoys gardening, reading, and spending time with her husband and pets.
