Dr Heaton is as kind as he is competent. He treats me like a person, not a paycheck and I feel like I can trust him to only recommend what I need. I also referred an employee of mine who needed serious dental care and did not have a lot of money. Dr Heaton was flexible and kind and so helpful. Highly Recommend.
Most people dread going to the dentist but I'm always excited to go especially when it means seeing all of the wonderful people who work there. My family has been going here for more than 20 years and I've never had a bad experience. You can count on walking out the door with a huge (minty fresh) smile on your face. Highly recommended!
While not officially an Arizona native, Luraine has lived in the valley for the last 35 years and loves it. She was raised in Utah where she completed her education. Through the years she has had great opportunities to expand her knowledge in the dental field by attending continuing education courses designed to improve the care and treatment of the patients she serves. She has worked in the business field as well as the clinical and enjoys both equally. Luraine loves the positive environment at Smiles of Chandler. She feels fortunate to work with a highly trained and exceptionally caring team and counts each one as a friend.
When not at work, Luraine loves traveling to see and experience new things with her husband Craig, spending time with family & friends, and would like to say she enjoys working out, but does it because she knows she should.
Savannah is an Arizona native, and has lived here her whole life. She loves interacting with our patients and helping them understand and maximize their insurance benefits. She loves being part of the Smiles of Chandler team. She considers all the staff and patients to be her friends and looks forward to seeing them daily.
Savannah has been married to Hunter since 2015, they have one adorable toddler named Bronson. In her spare time Savannah enjoys spending time with her husband, son and their family. She enjoys movies, being outdoors, reading and all things Disney.
Sydney is an Ohio native that made her way to Arizona in 2020. She earned her degree in 2017 from Youngstown State University and is excited to be working in the dental industry. She loves marketing to patients in a fun, creative way and is proud to show the work that is done here. She feels fortunate to have joined a positive team and looks forward to watching the practice grow and succeed.
Valencia was born and raised on the reservation, the motherland of Chinle, Arizona. She has been a dental assistant since 2012 and continues to enjoy giving patients a reason to keep smiling. She loves assisting Dr. Heaton & Dr. Woodward in planning the best treatment plans, seeing them through to completion and seeing the patients leave with a beautiful smile!
Jessica was born and raised in Arizona. She graduated from Rio Salado school of dental hygiene in 2005 and has been working with Dr. Woodward since then and is now happy to be working with Dr. Heaton also.
Jessica has been married to her husband, Andy since 2009 and they have three beautiful children, Kaden, Karly and Khloe (and two crazy dogs, Jack and Bizzy) Jessica loves music, dancing, camping, and going to the beach. She hopes to one day own/run a dog farm.
Tamara was born and raised in Belarus, part of Russia. In 1995 she moved to Buffalo, New York, where she completed her education. Her first degree was in Accounting Management, later she received her second degree in Dental Hygiene.
For the last 10 years Tamara has been working as a dental hygienist. She enjoys taking care of her patients, educating them on the importance of oral health and how it is connected to our overall health. She feels very lucky to be part of Smiles of Chandler's highly trained team and to work in a friendly and positive environment.
Alejandra considers herself an Arizona native, although born in California. Her family moved to Yuma, Arizona when she was 5 years old and that is where she was raised. She relocated to the Phoenix East valley area in 2010 where she pursued her college education. Alejandra graduated from Mesa Community College Dental Hygiene school in 2014. She then continued her education through Northern Arizona University where she received her Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene in May 2020. She is a true believer of patient-centered care and co-diagnosing. She really enjoys getting to know her patients and building lasting relationships.
