Serving the Oakland County area for over 20 years, Dr. Gregg Bobier is a board certified Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon. Named a Top Doc by Detroit Hour magazine, Dr. Bobier earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) from Boston University and completed his residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Miami Medical Centers Jackson Memorial Hospital.
Following his residency, Dr. Bobier was a visiting clinician in the department of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the Mayo Clinic. He served twice as Honorary Registrar at Glan Clwyd Hospital, a British Maxillofacial Unit focused on treating head and neck cancer. He is a former senior staff surgeon at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit.
Dr. Bobier has been a guest lecturer at the Mayo Clinic, the University of Nebraska, the VA Hospital of Philadelphia, and the Chester-Crozier Medical Center in Pennsylvania. He belongs to the medical staff of Ascension Hospital and Beaumont Hospital, Royal Oak and is a longtime member of the Ian Jackson Craniofacial and Cleft Palate Team at Beaumont.

To become an oral and maxillofacial surgeon requires years of hospital-based surgical and anesthesia training after graduation from dental school. This advanced training has allowed Dr. Bobier to treat a variety of problems relating to the mouth, teeth, and facial regions.
He practices a full range of oral and maxillofacial surgery with expertise ranging from dental implant surgery and wisdom teeth removal to corrective jaw surgery. His experience also includes minimally invasive techniques designed to rebuild bone structure with optimal patient comfort.
Our team can also diagnose and treat facial pain, facial injuries, and fractures. Our staff is trained in assisting with IV sedation in our state-of-the-art office. If you receive IV sedation, you will be continuously monitored during and after surgery.

I had a crown removed along with the roots. The staff was great in answering my questions and making sure that I was comfortable during the procedure. I also had to have bone replaced. The procedure took less than an hour. Everything was explained and I was given instructions and the required prescription etc., needed for post surgery care. Dr. Bobier called later that night to check on my progress, which I really appreciated. I would go back again without hesitation!

From the beginning contacting this office the secretaries were kind, courteous and considerate knowing that I was in pain. When I came in for my appointment I noticed that the office is very clean and the staff were kind,polite,personable. Dr Greg D. Bobier is a very soft spoken gentle, thorough, & thoughtful oral surgeon he explained everything!!!and to tell you the truth I didn't have a question to ask except for could I have the tooth LOL. Thank you for your meticulous care with my dental needs...........

Staff was super friendly and respectful of my dad. The doctor competent and also respectful of an older patient - they did the consultation and extraction on the first visit rather than making us return. Dr. B called the next day to check up on dad. We got an appointment within a week of calling and getting on the cancellation list whereas other offices were booking 2-3 months out!

Dr. Bonier was "GREAT" he explained everything! He pulled my wisdom tooth and I could not have been happier the way he did it. My jaw was a little sore the day after but it is feeling better every day. Good job

My wife had a botched tooth extraction from another Dentist, and left many fragments in the socket that were irritating and cutting her mouth. Dr. Bobier did an excellent job diagnosing, imaging, and extracting the remaining sliver(s). His staff is friendly and they made sure my wife was comfortable throughout the whole process. I can't thank them enough for helping my wife, the original dentist made so many mistakes, and we finally found someone who can do their job perfectly, within 30min. Thank you again!

Went there yesterday and the office was super professional/nice and made me feel super comfortable. I am very anxious in any type of dental office and they helped with that. Definitely recommend. Dr. Bobier also very thoroughly explained the procedure that I am getting and answered all of my questions I had after explaining.

My elderly father was seen by Dr. Bobier for some minor oral surgery. The whole experience was wonderful, from the first phone call through follow-up care. I had a very bad cavity on my wisdom tooth that I've had for the past 4/5 years and I went to Dr Bobier to extract it. He was very through with what he was going to do before and after procedure. He didn't waste any of my time saying things that didn't matter to me (like rest of the drs) The actual procedure took about maybe 10 mins and I was out right away. Nice office staff also. I will refer anyone I know to them because they are wonderful and the Dr really cares.

I am a very scared of going to a dentist Let me tell You the word extraction scares me even more Walking into his office it was a very calm environment they knew i was coming in and i waited for a few as they verified my insurance information and called me in She asked me How am I doing and i said I dont know what to say with a pale face ! Made a few of them laugh ! First entered the room and dr bobier came in and explained the entire process to me it took about 10 min he was very thorough and did not leave anything out After signing a few forms i was taken to another room and trust me its the best dental care i have received in my entire life! He made the entire process totally painless and i was gone in 30 min I have 2 extractions done and hes just a amazing oral surgeon! I thank him very much for taking care of me so quickly! I have been her twice now and both times I appreciated the doctor's expertise in removing cracked teeth from a broken crown that had become loose over time. Its nice that he numbs you up really good and explains the procedure to you. I felt minimal pain and the procedures did not last long either. Hey when was the last time you had a Dr. Call you to see if you were alright? This is unheard of these days. I have had 2 major surgeries from a car accident and never heard a peep from either surgeon. This surgeon is efficient and wastes no time.
