Dr. Werner grew up in Greenfield and graduated from Mount Vernon High School and DePauw University. After college, he played football professionally with the New York Jets and the Philadelphia Eagles. Following a brief career in the pharmaceutical industry, he followed the advice of his father-in-law, Dr. Richard Cowan, and enrolled at Indiana University School of Dentistry, where he graduated with high distinction and received many academic honors. Following two years of post-doctoral study, he received a Certificate in Orthodontics and a Master of Science in Dentistry.
Toni is our Orthodontic Lab Technician who contributes greatly to the practice of doing all dental lab work. She has 4 decades of experience as an Orthodontic Lab Technician, and all of those years were spent working alongside Drs. Werner and Cowan. Toni and her husband Gary reside in the Greenfield area and have two sons. She enjoys the months she can spend outside gardening. She is also an avid reader.
Priscilla, who began her career as an Orthodontic Technician, is our Patient Treatment Coordinator and has worked for Dr. Werner and Dr. Cowan for a combined 4 decades. She is well respected in this office and the community has been a continually positive part of our practice. Priscilla resides in New Palestine with her husband Bryan. They have two wonderful sons, a gorgeous daughter-in-law and precious granddaughter. They have enjoyed vacationing in Hilton Head Island for many consecutive years.
Azureis also an Orthodontic Technician with almost a decade of experience. She resides in Fairland with her husband Jesse and two spunky kiddos, Zaylee and Eli. When she is not chasing them around, she enjoys reading and relaxing.
Shauna is our Orthodontic Records Assistant and Lab Technician and has worked for Drs. Werner and Cowan almost four decades. You will meet Shauna during one of your first visits. When treatment is finished, you will see her again to check out the final result and marvel at the changes which have taken place. She lives in Greenfield with her husband Jeff. Shauna enjoys relaxing on vacation and spending time with her growing family and friends.
Laura has been with Dr. Werners team as an Orthodontic Technician for over two decades. While she is very caring and conscientious, she is also the staff funny girl and interjects at the most opportune moments. Laura and her husband Jason reside in New Palestine their two children Jaxon and Nora. Her many hobbies include jogging and cooking and of course, keeping two youngsters busy!
Glenda is one of our Orthodontic Technicians who has been an ortho assistant with Werner Orthodontics for almost two decades and with another practice13 years before that. She lives on the northeast side of Indianapolis with her husband Brad. They have four children, two daughters-in-law, and two sweet grandsons. They also have several cuddly pets. When she is not busy with her family, Glenda loves to vacation and spend time with her friends.
Lisais an Orthodontic Technician who has been involved in orthodontics since October of 1985. She has enjoyed working with Werner Orthodontics for almost two decades. Lisa resides in New Palestine with her husband, Ron, and their two children, Jillian and Jason. Lisas many hobbies are vacationing in Florida, and working out/cycling.
Eileen is one of our Scheduling Coordinators. She has been with Werner Orthodontics for almost two decades. She resides on the Eastside of Indianapolis, where she has spent most of her life. She has three grown children, Vince, Matt, and Natalie and one sweet grandson. Her hobbies include walking and shopping, and being the true animal lover, she also enjoys playing with her pup!
Peytonhas been with our office for two years and works as an orthodontic assistant. She resides in McCordsville and when she is not adjusting braces, she enjoys baking, arts and crafts, and spending time with her family.
Amber has been an orthodontic assistant for Werner Ortho for almost a decade. She and her husband Nic live in New Palestine where they grew up as high school sweethearts and have two beautiful busy daughters. When she is not at the ball diamond, she enjoys working out.
Amy recently began her career with us by working in the business office. She lives in eastern Hancock County with her husband Jeff and their two children Duncan and Ahna. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends, riding bikes and taking long walks.really anything outdoors. She also likes to shop and read.
Jennifer began her career at Werner Orthodontics in the summer of 2020. She and her husband Wade live in McCordsville with their four active children Savannah, Kayleigh, Brynn, and Brooks. Her days away from the office are mainly spend raising children who love athletics and music. When she gets quick minute she enjoys lying on a beach or floating on a raft, plus reading, shopping and watching dancing.
Kim just began working with Werner Orthodontics and has been a dental assistant since 2011. We are happy to add her to our staff as she is fluent in Spanish. She resides on the northeast side of Indianapolis with her beautiful daughter Lexi. She enjoys the outdoors long walks and hiking.
