She is a deans faculty member at the University of Maryland. She also completed her general practice residency at the Medical Center Affiliate of Albert Ernestine School of Medicine, Queens, New York. Dr. Shahry successfully completed the Residency in Implant Dentistry program from the University of Puerto Rico.
Dr. Shahry is an active member of the American Dental Association and Association, American Academy of Implant Dentistry, Maryland State Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, Harford Implant Study Club, and the American Association for Women Dentists.
