Dr. Salatino obtained an associate degree in liberal arts from Sierra College and then an Associate and Bachelor of Science in biology from California State University, Sacramento, with a minor in chemistry. She graduated from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas School of Dental Medicine in 2010 and is currently working on her mastership with the Academy of General Dentistry by attending approximately 50 continuing education units per year. She is a member of the American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, the Sacramento District Dental Society, the California Dental Association and the California Dental Society of Anesthesiology. She has a fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry and DOCS sedation education.
Dr. Salatino is also a professional musician who plays guitar and bass for the rock band Some Fear None. She also finds time to record music under her solo artist name, STERYK. She has recorded three albums so far that can be found on music platforms like Spotify. In her free time, she enjoys snowboarding, wakeboarding, wake surfing, traveling and going on outdoor adventures.

This two-weekend radiation safety course meets the California Dental Board standards for operating radiographic equipment in the State of California (approval number x925). The course involves a didactic and clinical application of X-ray safety, both digital and film processing, as well as radiographic evaluation. The course is ideal for dental personnel such as dental assistants and prospective registered dental assistants who would like to become X-ray certified in the state of California. The course includes course material and patient experience with the following radiographs: Bitewing, Full-Mouth Series (FMX), and Orthopantomography (Panoramic).
