Dr. Gerts graduated from New York University in 2002. From 2002-2003, he had completed residency training in the Staten Island University Hospital where he excelled in all the aspects of Dentistry. Upon graduation, Dr. Gerts received an award for being a resident who has exemplified leadership qualities, quality patient care and desire to further oneself professionally. In 2004, Dr. Gerts completed fellowship in oral surgery as well as mini-residency in implantology.
Through following the latest research and committing himself to continuing education courses, Dr. Gerts is able to always stay on top of the latest technologies and techniques in dentistry. Excellent treatment. The entire appointment went fairly swiftly. I have begun getting implants and I found that they respect their patients' time. Everybody was very generous and kind, so I felt that it was good experience

I needed to remove some of my teeth prior to getting braces and this dental office was a great choice. My previous dentist closed down and moved to a further location I could not visit anymore but I'm very happy I found this one. The space is nice, clean and super comfortable. The helpful staff are also very quick to do their job and I didnt have to wait long to get my teeth removed! Very quick and easy, thank you!

Dr. Gerts is a godsend, honestly. I had awful tooth pain at some point and needed to see him immediately. He managed to fit me in without an appointment and solved my issue.

The receptionist is so arrogant and a confused lady. Staff with purple dresses are so rude and disrespectful. They are all that kinds of people who do racism as I am a Muslim woman

I booked an appointment for an emergency because I had a horrible cavity. I got my tooth canal cleaned and filled and Dr. Gert did an amazing job. I'm glad I was able to come in as soon as possible and got treated with such care. Truly grateful to all the staff!
